heya all! I've once again written a new poem, it's for a friend but it was the only way i could help through his tough times. Only so much one can do .. from so far away

Beneath the clouds,
There you be, awaiting
For those who can
Set you free..

Free from pain, free from
Fights, embracing you into
the night..

Safe and sound, there you'll
stay away from all the
rotten luck thrown your way..

Away from the hate, and
The pain, safe from all
The hurt and the lies..

Upon this world, you were
Placed, into a friendship,
There you'll see..

A friend in need, a friend for
Life. A friend that's true to
me and you..

Wandering in circles, eyes wide
Shut. Lost towards the praise and
the cries

Follow your heart, and you will
Find, the way behind and out
of this mess.

Hello! It is me! back again from the long world of LIFE haha...

Have a new poem hope everyone likes it! It's on the sadder side because i was going through something when i typed it up... so if it offends anyone please i beg of you... let me know

To The Shadows It Goes

To the sky, it goes, the thunder
It roars, the wind it howls.. There
It be, the friend of you.. And the
Friend of me..

..To find what was lost, the person
That was, to whom will it show, to
Who will it join?

..To join the race, to the beginning,
Until the end. Will it be enough to
Stand one more stance and fight
Against the raging war?

Within the storm, the war it rages,
The end not near, the beginning just
Past.. To all who fight, I’m sorry to say
But to the shadows must you go… and
To the death you must be..

Beneath the clouds, on the hilltop above,
Lies the answer, to which you seek.. The
Anger you felt, the sorrow you saw, the fighting
Of blood and the rain falling..

Up above, the sea of oceans, below the valley of
Meadows, to where will you run, when the hidden
Ones are lost? To where will you go.. When all hope
Is gone?

To the shadows must you go.. And to the shadows
You’ll stay

Dark poetry and all.

I particularly like 'into the shadows'. Struck a chord soemwhere I think, as I read it three times before even commenting.

The inspiration for this poem, was our very own Eol, I was going to send him a PM about something and then I just started to type out the poem. It is called, "Dear Friend" I hope you all enjoy it =)


To be with the one you love,
you must first seek to where
you belong..

..for the winters cold is but
one fork in the road, and the
budding spring is another,

For which road would you take,
my dearest friend of mine? To
the winters cold will you go?
or the budding Spring will you
see yourself?

Friend of mine, do you see it?
what awaits in the Winter's Cold?
the pain, the grief? Can you see it?
What awaits in the Budding Spring?
the Warmth of your friends and
loved ones?

Which will you take?

Which road is yours to travel
upon, Dear Friend, If you choose
I will be there no matter where you
go.. To Winter's Cold, will we travel
together? Will we meet up in the Budding
of Spring, long awaited?

It matters not Dear Friend, for I
will be close at hand..

...but I did love the poem!

Despite being entirely unable to form even a simple limerick I do enjoy reading poems, and this thread is always a nice place to float through while things are slow.

Greetings my Readers, For this there shall be sad news. This will be the last poem I will post up for a long while. Due to certain issues I cannot risk logging in after this again. While I will continue to write poems of every kind, I will not post them.

Someday I Will Return On a journey I must take,
Down a road must I go,
Away from my new found
home of true.

Beneath skies of blue, distant
In the grey clouds hue. My
First step of the travel
I see it in clear view

Though my friends and family
of home, I know not of where
I will go, but worry not sisters
And brothers mine, for you will
all be with me still.

Lurking I may but you'll not
See. Hidden in the shadows, You'll
not know

Friends of old, friends of new
Keep our family safe and
true.

Stray I must in mists
hidden view. Not knowing
will allow you all be
safe. Safe from harm is my
hope.

No more after this will
you see anything of me
but you will cope.

Brothers protect the youngers
from all harm, While I'm
gone I cannot save them
from that.

Sisters keep in mind that
you will see me once
again and hold no sorrow
in your hearts, for I am
there with you all

Children you will see, the
world yet still, but within
your hearts I'll still be

The time has come though,
For I must, loathe it may be
A promise I must break..
To take my leave, from this saving
place.. The Inn of all Inns

Forever will you be, remembered
and loved, for all eternity as
greatest Friends, and even still
some I have called family.

Breaking Promises I hate to do
it. But it must be done, so I
shall say not Good-Bye not this time...

...But see you around
for I will, in time, I
give you my word, my family,
my friends, My home that

.. Someday I will return
