Subject: Thiferl

Afraid the remaining guard might bring more, Thiferl needed to silence him. With mace in hand he took a swing at the table leg, letting his compatriots finish off the guard once he hit the floor.

(Assuming someone gets the guard)

Then looks around at the doors into the warehouse to see if there is any movement there.

Subject: Thiferl snaps out of it

A myriad of emotions had been flooding through Thiferls brain in the last few minutes. Apparently removing the power of speech, which for one so talkative, was indeed impressive.
But now he was back to his former self.
Hiding in the crates with the others he looked around. He was not only trying to see the crates with the symbol that they were sent for, but also what could have made the screaming sound earlier.
(Assuming he doesn't see anything obvious)
"They must be in the cellar," Thiferl whispered to his accomplices. Leaving it vague if he meant they as in the crates, or they as in the screamer.
"If we're going to take out the guards, we should do all of them at the same time or one might sound an alarm." Pointing at the halfling, "Can you sneak behind or above the crates and take out the guard farthest away that we can't see? Take someone with you who can climb." Pointing at the archer, "You and I will take out the guard across the way, I just need to be 30 ft away to hit him. Argent you will take out the guard walking towards us now. Argent will give the signal as soon as he comes around the corner. It'll have to be quick." Then with a thought, "The man in the office doesn't seem to concerned about screaming, but let's try to do this as quietly as we can."
He looked into the eyes of each of the men gathered around him to make sure they understood their assignments, he hoped he wasn't being too bossy, but they were mere moments away from being discovered, he'd have to apologize for his abruptness later.
Then with a final look into his brother's eyes, as he reached inside himself and prepared his icicle domain spell, he nodded that he was ready.
(Assuming Echo and Skit start making their way behind and above crates, and Ivellios is still around with his bow. If there are only four of us there, then perhaps Echo and Daleel take out their guard they will help Argent and I with ours. Sorry, kinda hard to tell how many of us are still there)

Subject: I feel a little bad

The next couple days are going to be hectic preparing for my trip, and then I'll be gone for the month of August. As a party you're welcome to not use my idea of Thiferl knocking on the door. Or if you do, Echo might stay in the coach and be there as back-up in case Thiferl needs it. Steelight is welcome to dictate what Thiferl does, like I said in an earlier post, because I wont be here to dictate his actions, if fighting breaks out, Thiferl will be in the back healing people as they need it. He's pretty wise, he should catch on to subtleties, and maybe glances between guards and get the hell out of Dodge if he's by himself. Anyway, see you guys in a month, and hope all goes well.

Subject: Thiferl can get us in

Thinking about the old orphan asking for money routine, something that both he and his brother didn't have to fake he thought about the religious orders that had raised them. It was not uncommon for clerics of Amon Atus to knock on strangers doors asking for alms to the poor and delivering a prayer of blessing in return.
Explaining his plan to the men gathered round, he showed them the holy symbol about his neck, a triangle with three rain drops inside. At the very least he could probably get someone to answer a door, and if the others were very very quiet, they might be able to enter the second door. If there was a lock, someone would have to take care of that, and if they couldn't pick it, he handed a hammer to his brother, saying that he would pray very loudly to Amon Atus to bless the men. And if they happen to donate anything, there are orphans out there in need.
"So, what do you think?" he asked the rest of them.

Topic: Winds and Sand Q&A
Subject: In a perfect world

In a perfect world we'd go rent a coach, all ride in it up to five or six blocks away, then send Daleel over to investigate. Then after he got back and told us what was inside Argent and Thiferl would head one way, and the others would all find their own sneaky special way, we'd all wait for a predetermined signal, like a clock tower if their is one striking the next hour, or if we can all tell time by the moon really really accurately, and all jump into our roles then. But I don't want to step on anybodies toes by making them do this. And to roleplay the discussion out is going to take the rest of the month. So I would suggest we hash out the details in the coach on the way there. But maybe that's too cinematic. What do you guys think?

Thiferl slyly looked at his brother and winked remembering the last time they had used that trick. It had been several years, and their belts were a lot tighter then, but he had not forgotten his role.
Looking down at his burned and stained attire and apron, he said, "I guess I'll be the blacksmith, and you'll be the wealthy investor. I'll have to grab my tools before we go."
Jingling his coin purse he calculated that he could spend a little on a coach and still have enough to get by until they were paid next. Especially if it meant not hauling heavy crates all over town. In his head he prepared a list of things to bring: a couple tools, his breastplate to show the end product, and maybe a couple flasks of certain alchemical substances, not labeled of course, but said to be dousing reagents to give the work a certain patina.
He clapped excitedly to himself, knowing that he was a terrible liar, but loving this role because he was playing himself. He wouldn't be lying per say, just leaving out certain bits of information.
He then looked around the room expectantly seeing if anyone else had anything to add to the plan.

Just giving you a heads up, I'll be in Europe for the month of August, so probably not a lot of posting as internet cafes cost money. So Thiferl will do whatever Argent is doing, unless there's fighting, then he can be on the back line if healing is necessary. I'll be back in September though. I'm having a lot of fun, can't wait to see what happens next.

Subject: Thiferl's thoughts

As they wandered around the area trying to find messaging services Thiferl and Argent fell into old habits of old arguments of old ideas. Neither one being very outgoing, they took turns asking the pertinent questions. When Argent spoke, it was direct and to the point, and when they found out that the messenger wasn't the one they were looking for, that was the end of the conversation and the brothers would move on. When it was Thiferl's turn, the discussion not only took more time, but it took a while before the actual question was asked, as Thiferl seemed to go off on irrelevant tangents.
No, they were both much more comfortable in each others company. They never needed to say much to know what the other was feeling. They had often spent long days where the only sound they made was the clanging of hammers on anvils and the hiss of dousing red hot metal in oil. That's what they really wanted someday, a smithy of their own.
The name was always something of contention, Argent would want something practical like, "Two Brother's Armory," or "Agamud's Emporium," while Thiferl wanted to represent the spirit of what they did with more whimsical titles: "Water of Life", or "Phoenix Talons" were some of his favorite.
After an hour and no luck, they returned to the Blue Hand guild hall. Argent was disgruntled, Thiferl felt defeated. This was there first task as a group, and they had failed. Hopefully in the coming hours and days they would do better. He let Argent do the talking once they returned.

(Assuming no one jumps to make the first move)

The envelope was tossed down on the table, looking around to see if anybody else wanted to open it, Thiferl tore open the seal and read the note aloud.

Aurion cocked his head sideways, “I suppose they are expecting a lot of force guarding this stuff, or they wouldn’t need so many of us.”

Thiferl scratched his head and spoke, "Well that's just great, he didn't say how much of his merchandise was stolen. We don't know if we have to rent a cart, or if we can take it away in our pockets. Perhaps having a gettaway cart wouldn't be such a bad idea though?" He looked around the room questioningly at this. "There are probably a lot of ways to do this, but it boils down to two ways: might or treachery. We can barge in the doors and hope we're better combatants than 'they' are, or we can try to sneak in and steal it back. What do you gentlemen think?"

With one last look at the map, Thiferl laid both the letter and the map down on the table so that everybody could see.

Don't hate me I took this awkward concept and ran with it, I promise Thiferl will settle down after he's comfortable around other people. But for the mean time, i guess that makes it a running gag...

Subject: Awkward

After a short awkward pause, a halfling came in through the door.

"Hi ya! Umm, I'm not late am I? Oh I hate being late." Stated Daleel.

"Oh no, you're not late at all" Replied Thiferl. "In fact I think we're expecting one more."

"Does anyone know why we are here?" Daleel asked.

"I think we're just waiting for our mission." Thiferl interjected.

"I'm sorry" Daleel stammered, "I'm Daleel, everyone calls me Skit. Nice to be working with you."

"Good to meet you Skit, I'm Thiferl, Thiferl Agamud." A short pause later, "And this is my brother Argent. Good to meet you."

(Assuming awkward silence until Aurion walks in, although if Skit/Daleel wants to play off me, I'd love it)

The door opened one more time, this time admitting a human.

“Uh…hello everyone, sorry for being late," Stammered the archer.

"It's no problem," Thiferl pipped up, "We've only just got here."

Murmurings of other languages:
“Good day to you” said Aurion in Dwarvish to Thiferl and Arent.

Becoming more excited, Thiferl responds in Dwarven, "And good day to you, I am Thifterl, Thiferl Agamud." And pointing vehemently at Argent as if there were some question, "And this is my brother... Argent. What's your name?"

Sounds of conversation could be heard out in the hallway, then the door to the room opened and two dwarves walked in. One wore a blue turban and a heavy leather apron, his hands were blacked by cinders and he subconsciously rubbed them on his apron, though his efforts didn't change the outcome.
He was responding to the other dwarf's questions:

"I can see your point-"

"No, no, we couldn't possibly do that."

"But what about the north side?"

"I've always loved the merchant district!"

"We couldn't possibly afford that."

"You've said that already, and we agreed not to bring it up again."

"Yes, but is it near a big enough water supply? A fire could be catastrophic."

Looking around as if noticing there were other people in the room for the first time, he cut the other dwarf off in mid sentence by almost covering the other one's mouth with his hands-

"Let's talk about this after the meeting."

To the pretty man with the curly hair at the table the dwarf stuck out his right hand and with a smile moved towards him,

"Greetings good sir, I'm Thiferl, Thiferl Agamud." Thinking better of it, he wiped his hand on this apron one more time, and waved instead, "Well, anyway, pleased to meet you."

Ushering the other dwarf forward, "and this is my brother Argent,"

Waving at the funny clad man leaning against the wall, as if the other man hadn't heard him in this small room, "I'm Thiferl... Thiferl Agamud, and this is my brother Argent." He said, again gesturing to the other dwarf.

"So I hear we're going to be working together..." He said to no one in particular as he tugged on his beard, and rocked back and forth on his heels.

g) You do not gain 4x your initial skill points at 1st level. However, when you put your first point into any class skill you gain an automatic +3 bonus to that skill.

So if you get 2+Int mod, at first level you get 2+Int mod skills all at +3?

When he saw the first blade, he assumed he could talk circles around the opponent, avoid a fight whatsoever. When he saw the next two, he had enough confidence in his abilities, that he was sure he could outmatch them. But with the myriad of silver tips showing themselves through the foliage, perhaps this would have a different outcome.
Turning into mist was always an interesting feeling, his senses were all skewed. The temperature always felt colder, he could no longer feel with his hands, now he felt with him mind. His sense of sight lessened, he could not see as far, nor as clearly, but he could see everything around him, in front in back, above and below. Smell and taste became one, and these were greatly improved, while sound and sight grew duller.
A passerby would think there was a fire inside the coach, as it was leaking smoke as it drove up to the carriage house. Vodokon floated over the grounds, engulfing the kobolds in a low mist taking precise care to memorize their locations.
The kobolds move swiftly and quietly towards the carriage, Vodokon moved towards the house. If there were to be a fight, he would want the narrow passages he was familiar with to pick off the attackers one at a time.
Rematerializing inside the back door, he removed his cape, and drew his rapier. He hoped this would not take too long, the sun was eminent, and this fight could turn dangerous. He was glad he'd solved the problem in the ballroom.
He could hear them assault his coach driver, yapping kobold voices could be heard, as they broke into his coach. He cracked his joints as he prepared himself. Scratching at the back door announced their progress. Where were his servants, he thought to himself. They should be doing something back in this corner. They would know his schedule and be ready to welcome him back to his abode.
His grip tightened on the hilt as the knob was slowly turned, tiny clawed hands could be seen as the door squeaked open.
Vodonkon's blade reflected candle light as beady eyes and pointy teeth made their way around the door.

I haven't played pathfinder, but I have a lot of 3.5 experience. I'd be interested in playing if you have need. If I were to play a cleric, should I just pick two domains out of the player's guide, or do you have a pantheon I should choose from?
