Charile is more than will to negotiate Vegas's release but Charile wants to ask questions before the handover, this job was way too easy.... Charile feels that something is missed or wrong about this kid Jace. 

Once the kid Jace is dropped off charile will help negotate the release for Vegas if he is still alive. 

For charile.... blossom is the one that has net running skills and that is the best way to find information about things, this should help charile ( or the team ) to figure out about what is wrong. 

Once again... Charile might be wrong... maybe I've been playing CP2020 too long. . Maybe I'm chasing ghosts and red herrings. I just want to ask a few questions before dropping off the kid and then go after Vegas.

If the group wants to split the team i'm not okay with that but wilcomply with the team's wish. I don't think that is a great idea AT ALL. We would be spliting firepower, rescouces, etc. 

Just like in DnD Luther ( Mr. Charlie ) feels that something is amiss, yeah I get it and as a solo type character I do understand that he doesn't think much and reacts with bravado. The group SHOULD be sharing information about what we see, hear and know. The team is the only important thing. I personally think that the character Vegas was remove because the team either missed something or we as a team didn't do something. Like in most games everyone will pay for one teammate's misteaks. 

But you see things aren't adding up and I will continue to bring it up. 

The characters should be asking "Why"... why is this kid so important?, Who wants him and why?, Why are we getting a decent amount of credits for something that another group could do then, are we expendable?! ( hence Mr. vegas was taken out).

I've played CP2020 for years and I still say something is amiss. 

I don’t want to be the one to miss a clue and get everyone killed. I would rather slow things down and explore some options, just sayin....

I usually don’t read other post but feel we have not share and missed clues that others might be able to figure out. Don’t get me wrong.. Luther is all for helping to assist and get Vegas back but.... What to do about this kid first. Maybe we are not asking the right question with the right people, maybe we might need to back track a few things.....just sayin.

Splitting the party in most games isn’t a good idea but if everyone wants to them I’ll go with the party wishes and split the group. 

The character blossom is the key to searching things out on the net.

Luther will need to find out the answers to these questions first before contacting Starlight and getting the coords for the rally point. Everytime that I re-read the events, something is not adding up. Luther "feels" that something is missing. Why is the kid acting this way to this woman? Is the kid under some infuance?. The payment is alot... I mean its great... thats what worries me when something is good, its usuallly too good to be true. 

Anyone else in the group have thier "spidey sence" going off like mine?.  This was / is like a "milk" run and that isn't the norm per se. 

with Luther's spidey sence tingling... I now don't think that would be safe for Luther nor the team. Got a natural "10" so hopefully it's enought to get some answers in spanish and if those answer quell his thoughts then send an email to starlight for the coords. As for right now... better just get comfortable being uncomfortible in the airraft.

Grabbing the handle of the passenger door, Blood Bank urgently makes a request of Blossom, “Hey! Hop out so I can get in. You can sit on my lap.” Unfortunately, the netrunner is Interfacing and can’t hear a word that he says, but Charlie can.

“She’s jacked in,” the fixer informs the medtech. “Push her to the side and pulled her onto your lap. Hurry!”

“G****** small ride, Charlie,” Casino growls from the back seat door.

Jase is crying, sitting on Rya’s lap, his face buried in her shoulder as she strokes his hair.

Seeing the AirJeep move to pick everyone else up, and having been shot twice more, Ghlahn levels off another shot at his attacker as he begins to sprint towards the vehicle. He doesn’t get visual confirmation of the kill, but he’s confident in his shot. He’s correct too. The last part of the partnership between Pogo and Little Gonzo is ended.

“We’re going to have to cram,” Luther calls into the back. Now’s not the time to be shy.”

Echo sees no problem with cramming and motions for Casino to get in, following to plant herself on his lap. Blood Bank is struggling with Blossom’s limp body but making progress as Fixer settles in on the other side of Rya and Jase. Ghlahn assesses the situation inside and changes his trajectory to put him on the north side of the vehicle, squeezing in beside Fixer and forcing the others to twist and fold in order to fit everyone. 

“All in!” Blood Bank calls as he wraps his arms around the net runner's body and secures her to him.

Without another word, Cred Stick Charlie accelerates out of the alley and to the South, away from any possible additional interaction with people he’s already flagged as possible attackers. 

Leaving the bloody scene behind them, the Edgers can only speculate at how much of the second team is left to pursue them. Breathing in the faint scent of lavender through the filters of his mask, the medtech asks, “Anyone injured?”

A quick self check and it is apparent that they have all miraculously avoided further injury in this firefight. With the whole event has taken less than ten seconds, they are now safely (if uncomfortably) speeding towards what they hope is the successful end of this gig.

"Did we get 'im?" Blossom asks as she comes out of cyberspace. "Hey Go-Boy! Buy me dinner first!"

Charlie chuckles as the net runner comes out of netspace to find blood manhandling her. 

Charlie will attempt to gain access to route 16 or north oar / west brook via the del coronado bridge. Charlie will attempt to take precautions to see if he notices or feels followed. Make u turns in needed.

Luther will attempt to try first interview with her in his approach , and use human perception.

The EEC Airraft that Mr. charile sat behind was bearing an uncanny resemblance to Germany's old Kubelwagen. It would have been nice if this thing had more armor like his clothing or a non empty pintal mount that was compeletely useless. Charile's thoughts were at first... if I see one, many their are move in the area. 

Luther can't really do much as he isn't made for combat like these solo types.... 

With his Nycube port being use and pulled into the EEC, Creditstick charile makes his move to his right hip to aquire the scrambler pistol. Most of the others in the group use slug throwers but old Mr.charile would rather not harm anybody and be on his way. 

Gripping the gun handle and wishing that he invested in a smart weapon as he pulled the weapon out of it's holster as the other surely have started to clear out the streets with a good old fashion firefight on a friday. 

Mr. Charile simple waited and expect the solos to place this guy down, but just in case... Charile might have to use his weapon to short out any unfair advantagies that the enemy might be using, it wasn't uncommonfor solos to be cybered up in this day and age. Hopefully these guys were the killers they look to be. Mr Charile would soon find out how these solos were going to earn thier keep. 

** Come on and just get the kid and eveyone else in this damn jeep and we can shoot our way out of here before things get too out of hand ** Mr. Charile though to himself as the events began to unfold. 

Lots of questions were floating around in his head..... were they the watchers that Blossom warned him about?. Are they part of another team?. Were they paid to slow us down and another group would come and attack us as we are enguaged with these guys?. Is wrestling still "fixed" in this cyber age... Mr.Charlie didn't have any of these answers but time will reveal and tell all for these street heros that run the edge.... yes, time will tell.

The call came over the radio.. 

“What's going on.... Anything that we need to be worried about yet?” Charlie asks the asisan decker. “ Watchers... “ 

Charlies fretted for a bit in his head.... Was it saint Nick and his group, was it heavy handed spring heel Jack flex his muscles?... too many variables.... 

Charlie sends a note to starlight --- 

“Got the package....will let you know when it’s in my hot little hands. Not much action ...yet, but we have an extra set of eyes watching for now. 

Chariles wasn’t sure how many that would be able to fit in the air raft but the kid was going to be one for sure. 

Charlie lifted the beast... and made a lazy u turn to the entrance of the alley to collect all that he could... the rest will have to take their chances. As long as the airraft was pointing away from the two schecky ones on the corner the better..... 

Chariole looked for a random point on the auto nav for now.... His eyes looking for big vehicles that might attempt to block their path, but what could possible go wrong?...

** Everything could still go wrong mused the fixer to himself

“ Let's grab the kid and get out of here. Buckle up kido:” Charile used his infectious smile to blossom as the vehicle began to move and throw water everywhere, as various disgruntled persons in the crowd walking on the debris littered sidewalks waved various rude and off color gestures to the driver as he smiled to himself. 

. The airraft went west then attempted to turn northbound to the 12th Alley. Charile attempt to double park and use his flashers between Greek Dan’s Gyros and Lite Design Services. 

“ I’m double parked..... Hurry before I gather more attention. unlimited space, first come first loaded.... Thank you for riding with Mr. Charile... best of luck travellers” Charile used the radio to broadcast his message.

Acting on his decision, Cred Stick Charlie pulls the Airjeep over and into the position he’d postulated the best, and settles her onto the ground. The notification alert on his agent sounds and the message displays across his optical splice as soon as he mentally allows it.

Mr Charlie read the message and frowned. 

** Gosh Darn it ** He thought to himself. 

Charlie messaged back  with a song title form time long past.... 

“ somebody’s watching me - Rockwell 1984”... I get it. Lets just hope that it’s not the elves to picking up any packages.... Or simply just cancel Christmas “.

**Jack... what are you up to? ** Thoughts flew as charlie was tempted to throw up his drone but stayed in the Airjeep. 

* Now if I was Jack... what would I be doing to these idiots that can’t even “snatch up “ a kid.....

Charlie nodded in silence to himself

“ Yup... kill them all and if so take an L “ (L= Loss)

Charlie followed up a message to blossom... 

“ You know that we still might be able to run for it....*insert’s smiley face” 

** But not take everyone....Charlie's thought rationalized... could this old bucket carry the package and get us to safety?. But on the other hand... Jack was still I threat. I need to figure this out before he hurt’s Starlight’s work.

** Deals or no deals.... Meh.. ** charlie's thought just raced as fast as his heart.

Another message to Blossom  

“ Think that you can create some distractions... just in case another group shows up?... like sending a description of said possible group to the PO PO as armed and dangerou in this area. That would buy us some time... hopefully”.

Casino squelched the mike. 

"“Got the kid, second tent, Mendez here also, Fixer, Echo on me, Bloodbank continue cover watch. Ghlahn if this other team is here they'll make a move within minutes of us moving with him, stay on your feet, watch your six and ours" 

Charlie messages Blosson with the update. 

The blowing fan begin to whir to life yet again....

" Copy, clear, Over" Charile signals

Looking sideways at the fixer, she smiles slyly, “Will you be okay all on your little lonesome while I go virtual?”

Charile nods

Settling back in the worn seat, the gorgeous blond rests her head against the headrest and retracts her keyboard back into her bracer. After a moment, the only signs of life she shows are the slow rise and fall of her breasts.

Charile waits for a bit then speak aloud to himself

" Zoot suit.... *Harumph*.... its a Navy color Takanaka Cotton/Arachni-silk smartcloth three piece suit. But none of you understand about that, do you?". Charile talks to himself knowing that Blossom is cyber space watching over all of them. " Thank you blossom, he smiled to himself. "Maybe, just maybe we can get through this and pull us together a team". 

Charile begins to look for a place to park...

“Where?” the platinum blond woman spreads her hands wide in disgust before plopping down in the passenger seat of the Airjeep. “Does this thing have a top we can close?

Charlie reached down to attempt to activate the ragtop, that was unsure would work, but as he did Charlie wanted to speak to blossom about something that was on his mind. 

“Maybe driving around is our best option,” she pouts. “Unless you want to just join up with those four and make it an even half dozen.”

“ I’m not built for combat darling, I’ll leave that up to the knuckle draggers, solos and street samurais. I just talk, make deals and get items” Charile used his infectious smile yet again. 

Activating the fans, Luther lifts the aerodyne from its resting position and pulls away from the curb, spraying water all about the battered vehicle and causing more than one of the loitering street population to exclaim in annoyance. Quickly passing the rest of their team, Charlie heads for the turn up ahead to make his rounds of the block.

 “I’m going to attempt to tap into the Cop-camera down the street,” Blossom states, pulling her keyboard from her bracer and shifting her weight on the uncomfortably hard seat. 

“ You know.... Something is bothering me Bloss...... did you see that odd pair back on the corner?”. Charlie cocked his head to the side a bit. “Those two that were covered up in blankets on the corner near Einstein’s Book Emporium. What strikes me as strange is that it isn’t the best place to ask people passing by for money first off, the other is I really can't see their features, they were moving around so much, not very animated like most people asking and engaging people. They seem to me just waiting for something and this is what makes me really nervous. ...... There aren’t any other OBVIOUS homeless people around here”. Charlie eased off the fans and slowed down a bit, then resumed the posted speed before continuing his talk with blossom. “ What's more, is that they are being left alone by the public nearby whereas the public isn't really leaving anyone else alone.”. I got a bad feeling about this bloss and it could spell some trouble for us”. 

Charlie broke squelch “ Ghlahn, this is Drone, Over....”  “ Can you get eyes on two odd pair covered with  blankets next to Einstein’s Book Emporium,possible hostiles, use caution , over. 

Charlie looked to blossom, “you think that you can get a look at those two via cop cam?. I could try pulling over, doubling back if you need me to”. Charlie waited for blossoms answer. 

Charlie attempted to recall and use his database access to look for a possible match.... If either would be a hit it would be a gang member or worst.... One of Santa's elves waiting to clean up his mess. Charlie's stomach twisted and turned at this thought. Would it be the end or was his imagination running wild with the shadows playing tricks?. 

As charlie waited he spoke once again to blossom. “ Hey...kiddo, if we all make out if this soggy messed up sandwich, I plan to let you guys stay with me from time to time, so that you guys don’t have to squat for the night in some godless hell hole, you know what I mean?”.

Charlie nodded his head  “ I couldn’t do what you’ll do.... Maybe I’m just too spoiled but so be it, at least I can help out with things and get us into better jobs. I’m just trying to make a mark like everyone else here. I got things but I want more, you know?”.

“  I mean.. I got this truck that I’m piecing back together and I was thinking that we might be able to equip it better if I can get everyone’s help to make it better. Heck... maybe we could pimp it out with a portable doc cocoon for blood bank, an electronic suite for someone like you and a nice paint job so that I don’t ruin my threads when riding in it”. Charlie smiled at his thought that he spoke aloud as he “popped” his collar and gave blossom a sideways glance as he continued to drive. 

“Sh*t,” she curses around the sucker protruding from her pouty lips. “The place is closed.”

" We could just sit here for a bit till something opens up" Charile quipped to blossom " Or we could just simply keep driving around the block". 

Charile didn't have alot of options right now so things were limited, or at least for now. 

"Bloss, you want to find yourself a spot and I'll just keep driving around till they get the package and we all high tail it out  here together?" Charile asked.

Well it looks that Mr Charile will have to wait and see what the others are going to do. He will continue to look for a place to  sit and wait since the streets are getting crowded and that might make everyone nervous.

Mr Charile agreed with a nod.  " Anybody and evrybody get out, Me and bloss will have to find a place to wait. Looks like your on your own for now. If you can make it to this point here. Then I'll make sure that the package is picked up and I"ll buy the first round of Abydos,  Deal?".

"Greek Dan's hero shop for now?... maybe they have seats?" Sugguests Mr Charile to blossom

gonna have Charile and blossom maybe try to find seats at Gyro shop. Moved the charater and jeep as well. 

I do not miss those weekend drill days.....

Abort flying the drone for now and drop off the sniper first, then make a circle and stop at the diner.

I rather fly at 1500 to 2000 ft overall if possible. I understand that this will be a overhead look, so if need then move the drone across the street at the same hieght for a better look. Worst case and very overt lower the drone to 200 ft from the street level.
