Topic: Slate Q&A Thread Subject: well...
As of now, my character and her wolf have not been introduced but I have an idea that I would like to run past Schnozzle at some point before I post ... Might get the lack of intro on my character's part taken care of. There is a reason for my character's lack of decorum.

Topic: Star Trek: the Edge of Duty Subject: A patient!! Finally!
((OOC: Before anyone thinks I've spoken for Dox, he and I discussed this via pm's and he gave me his answers there. I did not take control of his character))
Stardate 2365.02.07
USS Peregrine, Sickbay - 0710-0810
Lana had just finished getting everything ready for any injured coming from the escape pod when she heard a voice cutting the silence,
"Doctor Synklar, I apologize for not scheduling an appointment but I believe I need to see you" Lana gasped when she was shown the wound on his head and quickly went over to him and helped him to a bed,
"What happened?" She listened as she grabbed a dermal regenerator and began to close to the wound,
"Ah, I made a pretty fascinating discovery about the couraciousness of a new plant species, and in my excitement I ‘jumped' both figuratively and literally for joy straight into the corner of a low hanging cabinet in my lab." Lana frowned as she continued to work
"How long ago did it happened?"
"I'd say it was about an hour. Give or take." Lana finished repairing the wound and clicked her tongue,
"You waited that long to come to me.. Did you lose consciousness at all?"
"Yeah, not sure how long I was out for though." Lana narrowed her eyes slightly as she looked him over,
"Did you experience any dizziness?"
"I did, while I was on the bridge monitoring the science stations."
"How bad was it?
"I stumbled and lost my balance while I was standing there. It was.. Different. Never had a feeling quite like that one before."
"Was it a quick second, or did you have to lean against something for a few minutes to regain your balance?"
"well, Doc, the dizziness lasted a good 20 or so minutes, but when I lost my balance I realized I was seeing stars."
Lana frowns slightly,
"First off, you should have come here as soon as you regained consciousness. Second, you have a slight severe concussion. Which means, you need to do minor things, nothing that will put stress on you that will make things worse. I'd recommend not being alone if you can help it."
((OOC: Assuming that he doesn't argue))
"Then you're done. Take things easy for a few days, if you find yourself getting worse, come see me as soon as possible or if you are unable to contact me or have someone else contact me, no putting things off for an hour again. Am I clear?"

Topic: Slate: The Hundred Years of Rain Subject: Rain is lovely unless it can kill you
Clary watched as she sat beside Silinrul quietly. Shaking her head at the antics, the one she now knew as Jacob was quick to offer assistance, others were more hesitate to go. Clary eyed her wolf deep in thought when Xana spoke, telling Tolly to call someone else back she couldn't say who was being called back as she wasn't really paying that much attention but she did agree with the elven woman,
"Xana is right. We could potentially be stuck in that rain and what good would we be to anybody if we were to die before this ,adventure truly began?" While Clary didn't speak much, she did agree with her fellow adventurer. Risking their own for something that could be nothing wasn't wise in Clary's eyes. However, in case a fight broke out for them to go find the cleric and this symbol she stayed close to her wolf at her side.

Topic: Star Trek: the Edge of Duty Subject: Lana Synklar - Book worm
Stardate: 2365.02.07
USS Peregrine, Lana's Quarters - 0645
Lana's eyes snapped open as her breathing came out in harsh puffs. Sitting up she quickly donned her uniform and grabbed her book on the nearby nightstand knowing she wouldn't be getting back to sleep. Instead of failing and wasting time trying she made her way towards sickbay to read until she was needed.
Stardate: 2365.02.07
USS Peregrine, Sickbay - 0650-0730
Sitting down in her office chair she smiles and opens her book and begins to enjoy the silence of the early morning. As she flipped a page mindlessly of her book when a sudden chirp from her comm startled her
=/= Drake to Sickbay. Doctor Synklar, we have what looks like a possible escape pod on our sensors. Be ready in the event that we need to treat any wounded.=/=
Grinning slightly Lana replied quickly as she closed her book "Yes sir." And with that prompt reply, the doctor got up and set about getting her sickbay in order just as was ordered.

Topic: Slate: The Hundred Years of Rain Subject: Clarissa and Silinrul
Clary's eyes snapped open, a strangled scream dying on her lips as she bolts up in her bed. Looking out the window she sees the moon glowing in the sky overhead. Jumping slightly when she feels something cold pressing against her arm she turns swiftly ready to attack the intruder only to find her beloved wolf at her side,
"Sorry boy, I didn't mean to wake you" Her voice was soft as sleep still clung to her mind and for once she allowed the blissful black to take her leaving her unaware of the happenings that were going on that night.
The next morning
Her footsteps made no sound as she and Silinrul walked through the city, coming upon the gathering crowd. Pausing for a moment, she listened. Something had happened, they needed people, grinning slightly the ranger eyes Silinrul before strolling up and volunteering on the spot,
"Silinrul and I will join the party. Should be fun, entertaining." Once a few others followed and volunteered, Clary left to gather what she'd need, Silinrul as always by her side.
Afternoon
Meeting the rest on the road, Clary kept close to her wolf, talking softly to the beast, running her fingers through his course fur, waiting for when they'd set out. She momentarily looked at the woman, Athelia was her name apparently, nodding her head in greeting, Clary kept quiet.

Topic: The Death of the Inn? Subject: I always..
envisioned Fred being a black dragon.. not a dog ... but that's how my mind formed him way back when I first joined the inn.
I also remember that before the first crash, the chatroom was open for all, members and those wanting to lurk for awhile before joining the site.. Perhaps, bossman, you can bring that style of chatroom back? but you probably also have your reasons as to why you've changed that particular set up for chat.. if so disregard my suggestion.
