As a blood hound Luna tried to track the goblin as best he could, losing the trail several times and having to backtrack a few times as well as go into the river and then cross. He managed to follow up untill they came to a marshy area here try as he might he could find no sign of the goblin, what he did find however was a bugbear camp.

Seemed these bears had caught a large otter and where going to have it for dinner, well this would never do, he listened to what the others where saying and started to deceide what his role should be.Thaoran notched his bow and reaided for a range attack while silver said she would rescue the otter.The dragonborn also readied a javlin.

Watching as all the others made their moves on the bugbears Luna held back on shifting back making no moves at first he was satisfied to wait and see how the first wave of attacks panned out.After all he had teamed up with a pretty tough group so he waited for a sec

if necessary he was prepared however to do his part if need be keeping a close watch on the bugbears he figured if one started making its way toward any of his new partners he could at least be a distraction even if that ment charging right in at the bugbears

When one of the others present started to stare a little to intently at him and replyed " "What do you mean you found the evil?" Luna turns toward the one who had addressed him and looking him over and settling his gaze on his face speaking to this one directly he says" What do I mean I found the evil, your friend just finished telling me about the goblin attacks about the kidnapping of two boys from the nearby village seems to me that is the type of activities I have come here to combat , just as it seems you have also"

Luna continues to watch the drama unfold from his hiding place where he had been watching the party who had the captive goblins, thyen the arrival of the dragonborn the reception from the group was cool at best with the one elf even putting his hand to his sword, this arrival also seemed to have another effect as both goblins are suddenly dispatched.

 Quickly however things calm and from what he can make out the entire group is going to move into the stone shealter nearby to avoid the coming rain.This would give him time to move back slightly change and then act as if he was just coming down the road from the bridge, which really is very close to the truth just the time is different, He would then approach the shealter just as they do with the reason being shealter from approaching rain.

   From the spot where the little cat watched and listened to what was happening around these goblins now not only the party that had dispached a good few of the filthy creatures and where questioning two captives and new group appears suddenly from up the switchback making their way towards the party with the goblins.

  The lead figure a dragonborn calls down to the party " Hail and well met!  I was tracking these same goblins.  You have saved me the task of killing them myself!  May we approach?"

  Two things seem to happen close togeather the dwarf near the goblins slides up behind the one and quickly slits it's throat Then the one elf who had been asking questions in response to the approaching party and their call to them by telling them to "Halt" while gripping his  rapier now not sure of what is going to transpire next he feels a little to close he will look around and if possable try to move over to where the stone building is up next to it.

 (OCC using my stealth skill and mask of the wild )

  Nomad did you see my post yet please let me know if i am taking to much for granted i not entirely sure yet as to how these bonus actions and actions work  espeicaly when not in actual combat but besides that i am ready vto disclose self as soon as they decide the goblins fate.

Luna watched as the tense little drama unfolded in front of him it was obvious that the party that held the two goblins captive had the upper hand and could kill the two at any time, and yet the two goblins continued to be defient the one that had a dagger hovering just in front of his eye sneered at the tiefling who Luna belives was resposable for the dagger and yells “Rottenkip! Rottenkip leads the Caps on the Ridge! You will fear that name! Kip and the Caps!”
“You threaten a Cap and Rottenkip will come for you. He rules the Ridge. He takes whoever he wants from little Burg! He will hunt you. Run now and beg mercy!”

Luna has had many encounters with Goblins and he held no love for the filthy stinky beasts but never can he recall goblins being so, well he could not think of any other way to put it but acting "brave" they normally where little cowards turning on each other to save their own skin these goblins where an anomoly to Luna. He thinks to himself this band of goblins that this one seems to keep talking about this "Rottenkip and the caps" could be the evil that he had caught rumors about from a band of travelers he had led.What they had said was very vauge but pointed to an evil possably returning to the Ridge, and what had sent Luna on this trek from his southern lands towards the Ridge.

With his curiosty now peaked he listens even more intently the Tiefling repeats her question she demanded to know about the leadership and location of the Red Caps.The goblin continues his defience “You won’t find it! Caps find you! Caves and old ruins everywhere on Ridge! Which one Caps in? Never know till Caps come down on you! Caps crush little elves and tin man! Rottenkip hunt elves!” as he spat out his threats the other goblin as if to put an exclamation point on his partners words spits at the creature Luna thinks the goblin was refering to when he said "Caps crush little elves and tin man"! Luna is pretty sure he has never met suce a man as they where refering to, even though it was dark he was pretty sure the man seemed to be made of metal.

This however was not what Luna had came over here to check on the metal man was obviously with the party that had killed the goblins and was questioning these two.HE looked around himself trying to make out how many there where in this party he could see four the tiefling, the tin man, there was a dwarf who was also near the two prisnors and he could see a elf slightly farther back but throwing questions at the goblins.He could also see several clumps of bushes around

( OCC: took a little leway from keepers post "From his vantage point behind a clump of bushes",let me know if Im out of line) as well as the stone structure that was on the switchback.

It was fairly dark with the storm that was coming and he was pretty small and dark himself so he deciedes to make a move to a spot he can see that would put him closer to the captives and the four people he can see.

( OCC: again i am a little unclear about the terrian in my immediate area i said i am hiding in a clump of weeds now i would like to move if possable to a spot that would put me behind Steel and Dok that i think are facing the goblins but i not sure where that would put me or if even a possable move but if you determine there is a spot i could move to that will put me closer to the goblins and Steel and Dok I would like to attempt the move I would use my stealth skill and mask of the wild he really doesnt want to be noticed yet i sure you can make the rolls and let me know if i make it or if not or if not even possable thanks Nomad)

And so as the druid waits either hunkered down where he was listening or a little closer there is a very unexpected occurance as a Dragonborn along with a couple compaions comes marching down the road from up on the switcback calling down to the party and asking to be allowed to approach. This party was just getting bigger and more bazaar all the time Luna will stay as he watches the new drama unfold.

Yea Al I think its gonna be great to play as a player again its actually been awhile for me in that reswpect. Even when times where getting kind of rough there we had a few not so great years this is the first computer I have managed to get since i played in Trilogy but once I had it set up and going one of the first things I did was come check out the Inn 

 But I have been playing, D&D has actually been one of the good things in my life even when things seemed crazy i still always had my monthly pen and paper game with Jess and her old man Jay and I taught my oldest grandson the four of us would play i always DMed but those times where always a resprite from whatever else was going on around us at the time those where always good times. 

 Seeing the way the new 5e is they really did simplify the game some even though we kinda like the old versions in a way my game is sorta based on the AD&D books with some other versions throw in actually my game is almost entirely a home brew game I wrote a ton of my own rules like for magic we use a point system, and real big on the out door survival guide and the use of and gaining of skills also using a point system and a lot more things we do , but my entire world is of my own manufacture, we dont play on any of the realms we play on a planet I created i have maps from the world size to the continents the whole thing i even wrote a creation story as to how and why the planet existed how it was created. Anyways I think it kinda shows that i like to write i sat down and wrote a 9 page background for my druid here before i realized i was going to be picking a background from the book although i did manage to mesh the two pretty good 

 yea im kinda long winded here But I look forward to starting to post and I think that will be real soon i think we have worked out a way for us all to meet but i still have to hear from Nomad for finalizing. Its great to be here again talk to you again soon

 Hey man sorry its taken me longer than i thought to get this ready

but i have a pretty good idea what i want to play. I am thinking of a 

Wood Elf Druid with the Circle of the Moon subclass. I also got the 

5e players guide downloaded and found the way the point system works I will

try to get the rest up to you soon as possable i guess i will post my character

right in this thread when done

figure it out ( though I cant figure out why my lines are always two spaces apart help )

i am familar with a point based system I have DMed for more than 30 years now

but of course i have my own complete world and i have to say a lot of the rules are 

modified by me but we basicly play avanaced D & D or like second edition but I sure 

i can get this i mean its all about roll playing and you said you do all the rolls 

anyways looking forward to get my character and start

Hi there my name is Mark known on the site as Dragonmist. I am looking to join a game online.

Now I havent played 5e before but i did play for several years on The Triolgy War with Tann Tanalas.

I still run  a table top game once every month as DM and think I could get the 5e down with a little
