A little oil on the surface of that water and a spark or flame and it should do some damage. Looks like Areldor is the only one with a oil flask. Just a thought.

There was talk in the QnA of tying it down with rope, but it was not clearly evident in the Game Posts that it was done, unless I had considered in done vaguely in the post by Ody!

The Beaked Dragon is unable to ascend the second flight of stairs, because its body is too wide to fit in the space going up the second flight of stairs!

Also, if something happens where one of the Seekers falls down the stairs where the Beaked Dragon can get to him or her, then probably that character is as good as dead probably!

So you are all probably better off going ahead and walking away from this situation and reporting back to the Ship!

Afterall, if Mad Dog Muldoon wants to get his hands on the rest of the gold, then he can send another group to snatch the remaining treasure!

This was written in such a way to let everyone know why there was only a few broken fingers left on the second landing, because the person probably was unable to outrun the Beaked Dragon, failing to make it to the narrower set of stairs where the Beaked Dragon was unable to ascend to the first landing!

However, you are all free to decide just what you want to do, because the Beaked Dragon will at least ascend the stairs to the second landing, hopeful that some misfortunate turn of events will send someone toppling down the stairs into its waiting maw!

There is a scenario at my fingertips that I would consider bringing into play to kill off the characters of the Players who have disappeared from the Game!

However, in most usual cases I do my best Not to Kill off Characters, but we do have 10 and some of the Players have gone inactive and have Not Contacted Me regarding why they have disappeared from playing!

But for personal reasons I would rather Not put such a scenario into play at this present time!

If I do decide to start Culling the Number of Current Characters to make the game more manageable with the Active Players, we will run the risk of any or all Current Characters also being slain by the Grim Reaper!

My preference is to get everyone back to the Toothless Dragon Tavern alive, before writing the inactive characters out of the game altogether!

Just in case someone returns to the Game before that happens!

Every Seeker should be on the narrow flight of stairs, which the Beaked Dragon is unable to climb up!

And yes, the bearers of the treasure chest made it up the stairs after they regained their footing!

Well we need to keep moving and not attack unless we are attacked.
It may not be able to get through the narrow stairway but its head or tail might be able to pock in and get someone. Also if it cast stone to mud on the stairs we could all slide down to it. So let's just keep trucking up and out!!!!!

Might I suggest that you continue with your one plan to get the group back to the Tavern and those that don't have players by then can be dropped out as they decided it wasn't worth the effort, or something along those lines. Of course, the choice is up to you!

Will post something to night. But I remember Jozan had flooding problems last month(?)in his place of residents so I wonder if he still out of his home. But I agree with keeping alive everyone and make it back to town. But I do have an itch in trying out the "fire stick". But I think for now it's Run! Areldor Run!
