Further Roc Info

Rocs are large enough to carry off cattle, horses or even elephants in the same manner a hawk would carry a rabbit away in its talons!

I wonder if they taste like chicken?

I think if they are coming at us I might be incline to BBQ at least one. I am hoping that it is not a ploy to see what power we have on board and then something from the deep comes up and eats us:-/

Hmmm

It looks like we could be eating good if the birds are that big. Still working on my update, lost part oneday to the electronic ether, and you spend alot of time writing and its great read that day and on the next day you wonder who wrote that mess. Will have one before the due date.

Heh

I know what you mean Ziklag

I have been so busy that I have not even begun updating the Character Info!

But I have been pondering the Fate of the Seekers these past few days!

The Port..........

I did a little adjusting to the map using Paint to show a little more of the idea of the port. Hammer thought it looked pretty close to what he felt it should be, so use it for inspiration.

Thanks Ody

However, the water seems to look much calmer!

Posts..........

I'll try to get some kind of post up tonight. There is a lot going on and we need to get rolling.

May pose question on how to get our goods into the city.

If there is a seawall with a hoist we may be able to unload and them head for the stairs.

Delivering Goods to the City

The 4 Orc Riding Rocs will have to be dealt with, before you are able to unload and deliver the Goods!

Hey Ody ..... An Opportunity to Edit

The Druids would have mentioned to Tohmas (somehow I overlooked doing so ) that the Special Slayer Arrow will hit its target, kill the Orc and then disappear!

No Saving Throw for the Orc when a Slayer Arrow is loosed in its direction!

Also, as the Rocs are approaching they each have a Large Rock from the quarry held in their claws that they will drop on the ships!

My next post was going to reveal that, because my last post had them afar off from The Toothless Dragon!

Well That Could Change Things............

Ok, I didn't want to assume the arrows could return, but that makes using them a better option.

My thought is that the Rocs are being commanded by the Orcs so killing the Orcs releases them from the command. The birds might swoop in to attack with claws but I don't think they have the Int to know to drop the rocks on the boat without the Orcs.

I'll still have Tohmas attack the rider, just change for the slaying arrow.

So

the roc's got rocks. Tohmas oath bow will do the work I think. I depends on how many he can take out in one pass to discourage the others. So maybe I will not need the fire stick. I will have mine up soon. Rewrites and RL have made it a challange.

Oh Ziklag

Fire Stick would be helpful in this situation!

Finally

After losing it twice and editing it I got it in. Yes it is sappy, but I am the only guy with a girlfriend and I am a hopeless romantic(well sometimes). I will entertain any comments from Dagger about the fire stick. But I do know fire and ships on water are a bad combination.
