Nothing Much

Erina was lost in memories, lost in herself. She hardly recognizied what was going on, but didn't really care. She wasn't in THEIR world anymore. And it scared her that she could become so distant.

Suddenly, Erina knew she was going to have to leave her friends. She was caught by a powerful urge to return to her home, not the place she had grown up, but her HOME: the place where all Fallen Angels went when they came of age.

Cesmir Caverns.

But she knew that her friends wouldn't let her leave. Somehow, the thought just made her longing to leave that much stronger...

Silence is deadly.

D'Artigo looked around their current surroundings. It would seems as though nobody wished to speak, and yet everybody had something on their mind. Well, he wasn't just going to blindly walk. He had better things to do. Instead, he climbed up the nearest tree and perched on a branch.

"So. Anyone have any idea what we could be doing here? At all? I'm game for anything, but nobody's putting ideas forward."

What?

D'Artigo turned and stared at Miv.

"What's wrong with a little bit of happiness going around? It seems like we need it now, what with everything that's apparently been going on. What do you have against being happy and enjoying each day as it comes to you?"

Miv

"I hate you!" Miv screamed. "Why am I still here? I hate all of you!" Miv whirled around and began to stomp away.

Okay, can we call a time out?

"I think that was unwarranted. Where's the Miv whom I'm acquainted with? The Pale Rose that glinted in the darkness?" D'Artigo actually hung upside down from the branch, halfway through the process of coming down, but hanging by his knees.

Miv

Miv turned around and stuck up her middle finger before continuing to leave.

"Go away."

Okay, that's it.

D'Artigo drops down from the tree which he had climbed.

"Now that was definitely uncalled for. And you can't send me away now. You were the one that wanted me to come. Princess. Stop overreacting and let us know what the hell is going on."

Huh

"Shove it."

Miv didn't even turn.

Haha, you know me.

"You know I'm not going to let this drop. You either tell me now, or we both waste a lot of breath until you finally get it out of your mouth."

Ha!

Miv snorted and laid a hand on her hip, eyes defiant.

I've identified your strategy.

"Oh, so you think that just by not talking you'll be good to defend against me? Pale Rose, you should know better than that. Soon enough you'll break because of the melodic sound of my voice, and you'll tell me all of your troubles so that I may console you."

D'Artigo smiles under his mask. This wasn't going to turn out well. He could feel it. But he couldn't resist.

Oh?

Miv raised an eyebrow.

"It's not up for discussion. And I have feminity on my side."

My turn.

D'Artigo also raised an eyebrow.

"Not up for discussion? Miv, everything is up for discussion. And how is femininity going to help you? It makes me want to explore deeper, you seriously should know that by now."

Oh?

Miv sighed in frustration and pulled out a small knife. She gathered up her hair and sliced it. The black strands settled alittle past her chin.

"Get over it."
