He looked at her intensly, his eyes sparkling and wavering with a "thank you" that could not be conveyed by words.

Rose kissed his cheek.

"I want this over. So much."

He looked at her so intensly he could have sworn he could read her mind.

"So do I...so do I. All we need do is kill but a few more people. Between you and me...I hate killing...but I'm not to fond of dying either..."

Rose smiled again at him.

"We have to be strong though. Sometimes, people have to do things for the greater good."

"Yah...and sometimes they do it for the good of the people they love..."

Travis though about becoming a Vampire...it didnt seem so bad now...he almost didnt want to wait...he didnt want to wait at all...but he didnt want to ask Rose...that would be rude.

Rose's eyes closed alittle.

"I'll do anything for the people I love. No matter how hard, how rude, how scary."

"Then would you bite me..."

"Yes."

"As log as you ask, I'll do it."

Seth had an array of weapons lined for the crippling blow they planned to give the lycans. He was setting out many guns and knives so people could take their pick and prepare to move out. He had put a brace on his knee so that he could support himself without much problem.

He was getting ready.

"Do it... I dont want to wait any longer...since Seth and Derric are already at HQ...they wont know..."

Rose blinked and put a hand on his neck.

"This is your irst and last chance: Do you really want this?"

The vein in his neck throbbed...he gulped...

"I do...living forever isnt what I'm interested in...its being able to live forever with someone I love..."

Rose slowly sat down, tugging him with her.

Rose's eyes began to glow her hunting colors and she leaned over.

"Before you do this...I want you to promise me...eternity will not be spent with someone else..."

"no...nevermind...we've already made to many promises... just go ahead..."

"I love you. I don't want anyone else."

Rose pressed her cheek against his neck.

"This is my goodbye, and my hello."
