The last post was done on the 13th but I didn't get to read it till now thanks to the site being down for a few days. Im just glad no real damage was done. I feared something would be lost. Im working on a post now to begin interacion with the governor.

Awesome!

Looking forward to getting back into this game. I've noticed the inn's been a bit slow lately... I was beginning to worry.

I feared the worst while the site was gone, too. Glad that everything's up and running again.

Tiamat, I was going to describe the foyer of the mansion/house, but was unsure of stories/stairs/doors and other appointments. I remember the meeting room's description, but can't recall anything else for establishing the setting more strongly.

reply to celediel

Leave the descriptions to me. I'v basically described anything the characters need to know about or see. thanks anyway.

The foyer is 10' X 10' with a couch against the back wall.
The floor is carpetted in red. A candle chandelier hangs 5' above the group's heads. Art adorns the 3 walls while tapestries drape down the wall above the couch. There is a doorless entrance to the dining room to the left of the couch. There is are hallways leading out of the Foyer along the back wall to the east and west wings of the house. It's the east wing corridor that leads to the office and ends with the library.

ok

I was just going to include incidental descriptions of fine wood or smooth stone or rich leather. I wasn't sure about what appointments or decor would actually be there and if it was lit with sconces or a chandelier, etc. Even the difference between an austere entryway and a lavishly decorated one would elicit a different response.

I wanted to be able to write about Tenacity's reaction to something other than the very straightforward behavior of the elves, is all. If you don't think I should worry about it, I won't.

Odd addition.

I made the mistake of leaving the keyboard while my post was only partially complete. My roommate walked up and "helped" me complete the post. The following is the bit he added for me while I was away, with a small pieces before and after to show where he threw it in:

...We are now on our way back to the governor and then, I believe, we will go back to the house to perform a more thorough investigation."

The group was now walking up to the book depository. The rifles were in place and Kennedy was scheduled to drive by in a mere three hours. The aliens would not interfere with this attempt, Area-51 interests be damned. Spells were in place to obfuscate the operation and blind the passive scanners. More active means would prove a challenge to the techs they had bribed, but none of it would be very difficult. It was all about anticipation and their positions in the chain of communication. Kennedy's Secret-Service minotaurs were going to be the biggest threat once shots were fired, but Chiron had planned for that, too. He glanced at the ABS-plastic crates in the niches behind the shelves, confirming that nothing had been tampered with since they were placed.

As the group walked up to the Governor's mansion Lacey marched back to the front of the group, right up to the front door and inside...

Too much time...

Ava, have a great weekend an enjoy the wilderness. A little cement free time is always nice.

Deucalion, it seems your roomate has too much time on his hands... Though I found it amusing.

Okay, one thing I'm not getting...

Deuc, I just read Chrion's post... and I dunno if this is the handiwork of your friend or not, but it seems like Chiron's introducing all the people... to Xavier. Is this what you meant to do?

slow posting

I am sorry for not updating as often as I would like. My computer is broken and so I am limited to when ever I can find one that I can be on. My husbands computer most of the time I can use but I am not comfortable being on it for extended periods of time. I will do my best to keep up. For now Satya is quite and observing so not much is needed for her posts.

Talking to Tenacity

Chiron is talking to Tenacity for the entire post. He's talking about Xavier and the meeting with Xavier's sister right before he goes into naming everyone as they walk into the mansion, so that might be where the confusion sprung up.
