Sorry for the delay.  Back off of holidays, life should be back to normal.  I'll post weekly... and if everyone can manage, maybe even as much as twice per week.

Please be aware that I did some heavy assuming in this post.  The commentary of the posts seemed to suggest that you folks wanted to follow the footprints of the person inside of the cave.  I felt it would have been frustrating to do a round of posts outide the cave, then start following with another round.  If I'm wrong, say so, mea culpa, I'll chop things into finer pieces in the future.

This is a very large raven, yes.  It's the biggest one any of you have ever seen.  It is not supernaturally large, however.  Not person sized, just a really big bird.  Noteworthy, but not magically so.

Sorry for the lag, folks, I've been under the weather the past couple of days. I'll do my best to get a post up before the end of the day.

I had a post ready but it got deleted my bad my bad, pinky promise with a cherry on top a mountain of whip cream that a post will be out tomorrow!

Hard for me not to be a bit overprotective of Dak at this particular scenario because I'm reminded of a similar scenario that went badly...

Isilmewen reasons that the bird returning or not confers about the same information either way, so stays her bow at this point. But you can bet that if it shows up again without some sort of missive that she'll be ready to shoot it then. "Once may be coincidence, but twice? Twice is not chance." 

Either way, her proposal is an indirect routing, to track and follow without being directly on their path. It might offer more safety in obscuring our group's movements to any adversaries expecting us to follow their steps exactly, but will take longer to get to our destination, wherever that may end up being.

To make sure they're on course, Isilmewen offers to be the one to go back and forth to check the trail. 

Just as a gentle reminder, Dak is going to be superior to anyone in the group for sneaking around in general.  In indorrs or urban situations, he will be peerless for certain.

Outdoors, in the woods, etc?  Isilmewen is going to have the upper hand.

Not saying Dak is a bad choice to scout.  Just making sure everyone is aware of the skill sets at play here.
