Subject: newbie to RPG


I've only recently gotten into RPG so my answers will reflect my late start.



1. lots of mountain dew (nope...a glass of sweet tea)
2. loads of funyuns (Aren't they extinct??)
3. black light (not lately, usually just the light of the tv in the backgorund)
4. something to get high with (not for a long time)
5. we're all still virgins (gotta go with "no" on this one)
6. Computer geek? (not really)
7. Dorky-(of course not!)
8. Pastey (I prefer "porcelain-like skin"))
9. Pimple Popper- (Only my own)
10. Avid reader of Sci Fi and Fantasy novels and thinks JRR Tolkin was a God (yes to SCI-FI and no to Tolkin)
11. Pocket protectors (no)
12. Glasses (yes, but only for reading)
13. Mounds of comic books (none)
14. Thinks D&D the movie was good (Never saw it)
15. doesn't need caffine to have a 48 game fest non stop (I can't even get through an episode of Dr. Who without falling alseep)
16. knows the complete history of more than 10 items in any RPG (No and why on earth would I want to?)
17. Knows complete history of at least 3 comic book heroes (nope)
18.doesn't have posters of babes/hunks on his/her walls, instead has dragons, knights and other fantasy types (I have a collection of LA Williams fantasy art on my walls. Inaddition
19. swords on walls while playing but by end of game everyone has one in hand. (yes, I have a suit of armor and A Richard The Lionheart Sword and an Excalibur sword. I also have two rapiers that belonged to my father in law.
20. went to a renn. fair and got most dwarf like person there( go to Renn Faires at least once a year)
21. started playing at age 7 and has yet to stop. (started playing 6 months ago and stop to go to the bathroom, eat, sleep, shop, watch tv, play with cats etc.)
22. has spent more on books in a given year then on a car(uh NO)
23. keeps spare copies of their D&D books in trunk just in case they need them.(spare copies??)
24. has played D&D in a woods on a scary with thunder and lightning, etc. night and was only afraid the DM might use this as a chance to kill off their character ( can't say that I have)
25. same as 24 but in real haunted house. (this one either)

Av, what is Sinterklaas ?

Don't be depressed. You can still do all your traditional stuff just for you and hubby. I'm very seldom with my family at Christmas and I live only 7 hours away by car.
It's just me & my hubby and the cats and we really enjoy it that way. Last year we didn't get each other anything(mainly cuz I was out of work) but we did buy a bunch of toys for our cats. We wrapped them up and gave them to them on Christmas morning. We had a ball watching them tear into them. They wore themselves out by noon.
