Myirh tensed up a bit, her outburst had startled one of the patrons and the man was approaching hand on sword hilt. "Stay your blade human if your part of the local guard I'll take my leave." She grunted to the man approaching the general vicinity. She hadn't seen the local guard, if there even was any, well enough to know their uniforms off by heart but she wasn't taking any chances. She was used to being kicked out of towns and taverns for her rowdiness. Her only minor regret for this eviction, would be not hearing what the roughed up looking farmers had to say if anything.

Subject: Arena Life, whispers are bad.

Myirh growled and downed her drink in one go letting out a loud very unlady like belch. She set her tankard a little ways away deciding one drink would be good for now. "Good brew for such a small place." She muttered, one of her rare compliments outside of combat. "No guarentees on me fighting, they deserved it." She spat, last night was still a blur but she did recall a fond memory of knocking someone around for an off color remark about her heritage. She knew little of her parents, losing them was one just one of the trials that came with growing up in an arena.

Another thing she didn't like, was whispering. Any whispers she had learned were usually bad, in an arena bad usually entailed your number coming up or your 'retirement.' She spun around on her seat to face the whispering farmers. "OI! you lot speak up or keep it quiet. If its a politics keep it quiet, if you need something maimed or some muscle then speak up and ask." With her bellowing done for the time she turned back 'round and stretched feeling her arms pop audibly. A grunt and a growl she closed her eyes keeping an ear out for any other unwanted sounds.

She didn't pay the dapper chap any mind, he was an interesting fellow to say the least but she was very very wary of magic having had a few bad run ins with magical sorts. She preferred to keep them at a distance at best.

Subject: Breakfast? Booze and Boar. Morning Routine? NOT Slaughtering innocents for funny looks.

A loud crash followed by a grunt and a growl was signal that the Inn's most unusual patron was awake. Stomping down from her room a step at a time, her large Greataxe slung over her shoulder and her backpack neatly packed and resting over one shoulder, the half-orcess known in other parts as 'The Red Lady' but only as Myirh here was awake and angry as usual. She was Half orc Half human, but she had gotten the grace of her mother's looks. A beautiful face, small tusks that were only noticeable or pronounced if she was grinning. Her hair a lovely royal purple and shoulder length, messy and rough right now but usually well kept. Her emerald colored eyes held a calmness about them, like the kind before a great storm crashed through.

She did however keep a good portion of her father's genetics, her skin was green as any other orcs her build was toned though not well muscled like most orcs. Her strength wasn't questionable though, she was as tough as they came and many an unwary adversary had fallen underestimating her.

Finally at the bottom of the stairs she rubbed her free palm into her eyes and snarled. "Bloody rough night..." Myirh muttered before seating herself with a loud thump at the bar counter. Carefully she set her axe beside her and dropped her bag to the other side snapping her attention to the man behind the counter. "Booze me." She stated still looking sour and grumpy.

Subject: Scouting report? Chief...what...lol...

After Sylvia finished her assigned duties as translator for the moment she blinked. "Achuak, what did you discover on your excursion the other route?" She asked, a little concerned. The little blighters she could handle but if the passage they had passed over contained something bigger, or more of the blighters, they would essentially be cornered on two fronts now. It was a great concern to her, she was still inexperienced in combat aside from tossing her magic around and she didn't think that their little group could handle combat on two fronts without some serious injury.

She looked concerned but she hid it as best she could. "Takahashi see anything?" She hissed over, trying to keep her voice low, yes it was a silly question and she planted her face in her palm after the words left her mouth. "I know, that was stupid please don't remind me." She added, the cramped quarters and bloody darkness were wreaking havoc on her senses right now. "Achuak, Mikmek, how do your people conduct final rights and funerals? I'd not like to leave your fallen kin in this...place." She couldn't find the right word for the loathing she felt for the mites, and their warren.

Subject: Poor little kobold, lol, acid burned mites.

Sylvia grunted and hissed, delighted to see such a satisfying result from her lob. "Stupid little blighters." After her moment to relish was gone she turned her attentions to the group. Takahashi, or in her case now 'Stoic One' was readying for the innevitable she figured. Aria and Sordin had freed Mikmek, the little guy was a fighter and she admired that. A few swift steps brought her to their sides. "Mikmek, are you sure you can continue?" She asked, speaking his native tongue before looking to Aria. "Here, I can translate for the moment to keep communications smoother." She stated offering a friendly smile. Crouching down to the kobold's level she looked at the dagger she had. It was all she had should she ever need to get up close and friendly with people. But he could probably put it to better use. "Here, I'm not sure if you can put this to great use but please. Borrow this for now so you can defend yourself."

She offers her dagger to Mikmek, holding it handle to him, blade pointed at her, proper knife passing technique. She also offered him a friendly smile. "You keep yourself safe as well, we came here looking for you and your friends, and the statue. I don't want us leaving with just one. Achuak can fill you in on the needed details I hope."

Sylvia shook her head and narrowed her eyes at the bulgy eyed freak. "Impudent little cretin." She hissed, deciding it prudent to get into a better firing position but with the current situation and confines of the tunnel this wasn't to possible. But she bit her lip, and dropped down. "Damn." She breathed out as she made a dart for the corner knowing she would be suffering some prods along the way.

Once at her corner for better or worse she turned and identified the mite who had tried to scare her, and hurled another acid blob at hit hoping this one would hit. She was less then five feet from the little blighter, if she missed, well she would have to work on her aim when they got back to Oleg's.

Sylvia wanted to drop down to see just how many they were dealing with, and what those moans of pain were coming from though she had a good idea. "Little bastards." She cursed under her breath, currently she could only see two of the mites. Thinking it prudent for the time being she tried to make as much room as possible for others waving them down. "Come on we got company!" She called up quietly, turning her attention back she focused, a glob of acid forming in her hand as she whipped it at one of the mites praying it would hit.

Sylvia blinked, then grinned, then smirked. He was right, and he actually spoke. Thus far the warrior had been stoicly silent, he did have a voice and Sylvia liked it, stern, strong, good qualities. "Very Well~" She hissed quietly, seeming pleased that their new party member wouldn't be the creepy silent guy. She to followed suit, making sure to take it nice and slow as she descended having little climbing experience save for trees. She didn't go all the way down though and chose instead to hang above a bit and press herself into the wall to allow others to pass, not a sound issuing from her.

Sylvia slinked her way into the room and narrowed her eyes. One of the buggers was fleeing ans this was bad, very bad if the ugly thing managed to alert his friends. "Not so fast you little bugger!" She hissed, a ball of magical energy formed her hand, and without taking her eyes off the mite she tossed it to the side. The missle went wide then darted right into the fleeing mite, a gurgle issued from the disgusting thing as it felt the impact, but kept on trucking on his intended course. Sylvia blinked, she had to admit these guys were tenacious little things.

Sylvia nodded and poked her head around the person in front of her. "Alright, just the two though?" She thought for a moment, brow furrowed. "I suppose our best bet then would be to simply swing the door open and kill them or subdue them before one can scurry off to gather help. I'd rather us not be backed into a corner on their home turf."

I assume by 'little devils' you mean the corpses of those...things we have been seeing strewn about?" She spoke solemnly, as much as she wished to offer her condolences for the fallen kobolds she would do so later for now though, it was time to hold up her end of a promise.

Subject: Grigs Sylvia Likes, More Kobolds? Statue?! PLOT?!?!

[Grigs]

Sylvia conversed with the child-like grigs for a bit, not giving away any vital information but sharing enough so she wasn't being to cryptic. After a while they departed and she watched after them smiling faintly. "I liked them, always nice to meet something so seemingly innocent." She spoke mostly to herself, and kept that faint smile for the rest of the day.

[Kobolds]

She jumped, not out of fright or worry but because she was dozing and the sudden rush of voices and stop of the cart had jolted her. Achuak was the center of attention right now and the poor kobold wasn't able to get a word in edgewise it seemed. "Woah woah, slow down there, please your going a mile a minute!" She spoke in draconic to keep things simple for the minute. "I'll play translator or the tallest of us can for the rest. I consider Achuak a friend he has been a great boon to us with our troubles. We have promised to help him in return. Who is Mikmak? What is the sacred statue? And where did he go, to recover said statue? Any information you can provide to us would be of great help." She hopped down from the cart and bowed politely to the kobolds.

"Forgive my manners I forgot to introduce myself. I am Sylvia, I promised to help my friend Achuak, we come bearing some news of our own but for now. How can we assist you?" She turned her attention to the rest of the group and cleared her throat. "They lost a sacred statue and a friend, I don't know where yet or what the statue is. I've asked if we can help them since they know Achuak and we have promised to help him. If you object please speak up." She spoke kind but quick, time seemed to be of the esscence. She waited, attention back on the other kobolds.

Subject: Grigs, Myirh, and plotting, Gunslinger?!?!?!?!

A vestigal tusk, I think if Ortlieb spent an equal time with Myirh and Sylvia he MIGHT like the tiny pink lady over the angry, angry bloodthirsty boozehound XD. As for the draconic, yes, once a plan between those needed is set Sylvia will ask for input from the others, the whole point she isn't yet is mostly because of the indecision that has come when the entire group tries to make a decision.

I would like to request a little bit of RP before we actually sally forth into the kobolds, or some discussion here and a quickie wrap up, to get things out of the way. I did pose some questions in my post, but, I would also like the rest of the parties input when I post my entire plan, and if anyone has any quams about Sylvia keeping it secretive for now, speak up. She will explain WHY after.

Subject: Little Cricket People, Dead Kobolds, a Hated enemy? Plans a brewing.

Sylvia blinked, her head whipping between the angry nattering before she finally had to hold her head with both hands to stop, thankfully not to long when the slighted grigs calmed down and one spoke. "Sorry sir, we didn't notice you we have been deep in our own thoughts as of late and were not paying close attention. If you may, I'd apologize for the entirety of the group and ask your forgiveness. I can assure you we will take better care to look out and ensure it doesn't happen again." She bowed her head politely, a friendly smile on her face but her eyes glinted slyly. Rather then waste time here, or anger something that could probe meddlesome in the immediate situation or in the future. She did have to admit though, they were curious little creatures and if they had the time she would have liked to chat with them more.

A few questions about the local area DID float into her mind, but she could always ask Achuak for those, namely quite a few relating to the mites, the wheels turned and gears clicked and her brain fired up. A plan formed, well half a plan. First, Tartuk would be taken care of with no kobold casualties hopefully, secondly should the mites be hated enemies, perhaps promises to route them or lend aid in whatever conflict was going on when the resources came available would be a good barganning tool should her original argument, one Junn explained well before. She gave the man a half glance before turning back to her attention, she would speak with him before they got underway into the caverns. He was vital, in his height and imposing person, and he explained the 'adapt or be swept aside.' argument oh so well, the fact he also spoke draconic was a boon.

She would need to speak with Achuak as well, she needed to know the Kobold's thoughts on elves and how receptive they would be to the treaty idea. She wanted peace with the Sootscale and would rather see the darling creatures aiding the progress that was innevitable to come, and not be wiped out.

All the while she was focused on the current slighted grigs, looking friendly enough and not overly her poker face of a smile hiding her thoughts and her urgency to carry on.

Sylvia nodded. "Very well then, Tartuk shall meet his end and we will do our damndest to preserve the lives if your tribesmen." She nodded, solidifying her process. She leaned back and sighed, rubbing her forehead with one hand. "This...might be harder then we thought..." She voiced, in common this time chuckling dryly.

Subject: Purple kobold? sounds fishy to me, talk of alliances? Junn vital to a plan? What will happen to our

Sylvia took a seat near Achuak and Junn clearing her throat. "Purple Kobold? and an 'Old Kobold' deity? Do you have any descriptions of this, sharptooth? If we know WHAT he looks like might help us figure out best how to deal with it. That, and we might get some insight as to this situation." She spoke in draconic giving Junn a small smile. "I know you can understand me to Junn, I actually might need your help for what I got planned." She put a finger to her lips, a gesture for the two listening. "However, I wish to speak more about it BEFORE we get to your tribe Achuak, I'd like to see if some sort of truce, or treaty or some such can't be made. As Junn said before, as Oleg said and as the bounty board had posted. Your people need to adapt, if you try to fight the entirety of the people following after us when we finish here. You might face your end then, I would officially ask you now. After we help your tribe could I speak with whoever will be in charge? I want to try and foster positive relationships, start something grand so that your people will not be pushed aside but carried to greatness and security alongside whatever happens here." She took a breath looking a little red faced, she hadn't spoken so much in ages, and it was so horribly disjointed she hoped the basic got across at least.

Subject: Speed, A Snake's best friend.

Sylvia raised her hand ready to fire another bolt, she was torn. Part of her wanted to finish the fleeing sow simply for more of a meal and the thrill of it but the other part of her wanted to let it go, that part was the one Ortlieb had touched. She lowered her hand and hoped off the cart to check on her injured friends. "Aria what in blazes did you think you were doing? You know darn well pigs can't dance." She scolded, but grinning a bit as she had intended that as a crude joke. She knelt next to her friend and examined the wound. "Well, I don't know much about medicine, but it doesn't look life threatening. I would recommend having someone patch you up." She gave her friend a smile before moving onto the next.

Junn still looked angry and wanting to be alone so she approached him cautiously. "Junn, you alright?" She asked, lapsing into a mix between Draconic and Common. She stayed her distance offering his blanket back to him. "I know you probably want to just sleep, but please have someone look at your leg before you do. If it infects you'll be worse for wear. I'd rather not see you have to lose your limb." She spoke steady and kind, setting his blanket down not awaiting a response, her welcome was already overstayed in the hung over elf's company.

Finally, she stopped a few feet short of Takahashi. "I must say, I am very very impressed." She was grinning, this new comer had already proved to be valuable if even just as a sword. "I won't ask how, or where you learned that it doesn't matter to me I'm not cut out for a sword. But I am pleased to have you on board with us your strength will be valuable in the days ahead." She held her hand out, smiling now less grinning. "You didn't see me at my finest when we first met, please, allow me to officially welcome you on board to our rag tag group of adventurers. It is an honor to have you here." She didn't speak for the rest of the group, they could decide how they felt about him but she for one was very happy to have him here.

[Party.]

Sylvia choice to forgo the festivities, instead climbing the ladder Kesten had earlier but she also avoided him not wishing to disturb the guard captain any. She rested her arms on the wall and stared out over the landscape, her mind still full of sadness and other thoughts. "Fang...I wish you could talk...I need a friend right now..." She mumbled, not to herself either she was genuingly talking to the snake who forever remained coiled gently about her neck like some form of living necklace. One hand tenderly stroked the little snake's head, his eyes fixed on his friend and his tongue flicking out to taste the air. Sylvia looked troubled, occasionaly she would brush a few strands of stray hair away or look towards the party. "I don't belong with them anymore then I do elsewhere, but. I'll do my best to fit in, hopefully things turn around." She mumbled to herself, that creeping familiar sense of loneliness and sadness settling over her. It would be a long night for the young girl.

[Boar Encounter.]

The journey had been long, and boring for the most part. She hadn't said a word to anyone and looked very distant as she stared at the passing scenery. Her head was still full of thoughts and she was still feeling quite sad over Ortlieb's departure but she did her best to hide it. When things had finally ground to a halt and they were setting up camp the oddest of things happened, a trio of boars was trying to play hardball. "What the hell?" She frowned, as if the long day hadn't been enough now some wild animals were set to try and further shove her and the party into the ground.
