Subject: Talking is over, let judgement pass.

Syvlia stood up and took her notes with her, on her way past Happs she patted his shoulder gently giving him a sly smirk. "Don't underestimate me Happs, after all you did and look at you now. No hard feelings? You forgive me for blasting you with magic, and I'll forgive you for almost incinerating me." She leaned down and whispered into his ear, her eyes altering slightly out of his sight to resemble snakes slightly. "Goodluck at your trial, the paladin will be your judge, and I the quessstioner." she said adding a hiss to the 's.' Afterwards she exited quickly, her eyes normal as she nodded to Soridn. "Put him with the rest, he might pass out but he won't be in any serious trouble so don't worry. As soon as everyone else is ready we can begin the trials and have Oleg put them to work."

Sylvia exited the building, letting the cooler air wash over her and relax her as she scanned around the fort. Paper in hand with all the information she could gather on it, labelled as bandits, or personal for the trials.

((I'll wait to aquire the snake till Aria has responded if even minor.))

Subject: Information well running dry?

Sylvia leaned in and rested her chin on her hands staring long and hard for a good few minutes. "Alright I belive you on that, any other useful information you can give me? Specifically any vulnerabilities or anything you know about Kressle we may be able to use against her as leverage, or any secret or food entry points into the camp?" She asked in a slow neutral voice. She didn't wait for a response to her first before posing her last set of questions she would be aloud to freely ask. "And, lastly, and because you have been the most cooperative of the bunch. If given the chance to repent and walk away a free man, would you truly take it? We will be placing each of you on trial later, and I'll know if your lieing."

Sylvia nodded slowly and stopped toying with her little amulet then quickly writing down what she was told. "Is that all my dear? If so then perhaps you would like to talk about Kressle some, who is she, why is she in charge and how often does she see this 'stag lord.' " Sylvia said with contempt clearly unimpressed by the whole second in command and officiers and stag lord bit. She had a feeling one way or another he was the key to ending these attacks, but she would deal with that bridge when it came to. Now she wanted the dirt on this kressle lady, the one in charge of these bandits.

Subject: Along came a Viper, seeking a friend from years ago.

((The following has nothing to do with Sylvia, this is merely to introduce her little friend that will be paling around with her afterwards. Details: She aquires a viper familiar at level 3, Owen has sanctioned me to aquire it before hand as a companion of sorts till it becomes the familiar.))

Through all the chaos and confusion, a snake had managed to slither his way inside the gates of the fort. The forked tongue flickered out rapidly and if facial expression could be expressed the poor thing would look confused. It had picked up a scent it vaguely recognized and had followed it to here, but now there was to much going on for the little guy and he had no idea where the memory was.

A viper slithered around the ground heading in sporadic directions, but it picked up another scent, prey. It focused on this one and followed it to the seated Aria and her little feline friend. The viper saw the small mammal but the larger one next to it made him hesitate to strike. Instead he approached, curious about these two, they shard a special bond that made the memory click a little, bells and whistles went off and he needed to investigate further.

He slithered up onto the seating platform the big one was on with the small one beside. It slowly approached, tongue flicking rapidly as it came right up to the small furry mammal. He pressed his face against the furry ones and flicked his tongue over it, tasting and registering the heat signature. It wouldn't strike and it showed no signs of aggresions, just curious observation.

Subject: Looked at is one thing, ogled is different.

Sylvia frowned and raised an eyebrow watching where Happs' drew his gaze. "I'd prefer if you kept your eyes above my chest line. Last man who stared lower spent the next week vomiting out my poison and I'd rather not have to have the doctor perform open chest surgery to fix your ribs. Especially in these not so sanitary conditions." She leaned forward onto the desk and tented her fingers resting her chin on them making her face the center of attention, or at least hiding her chest a little. Sylvia didn't mind being ogled on occasion but right now she would prefer to have Bydon's attention on the conversation and not on the non-existent chance of getting into her pants.

"I'll assume Kressle is the one you answer to, that you play second fiddle to so to speak. Although I'd assume with your...position... you do a lot more then just bark orders. But lets not get into that yet shall we? Your underlings made mention of someone, or somewhere, the goods you collect go. Would you care to enlighten me?" Sylvia said sweetly, her voice only having changed slightly when mention of the puking and poison and surgery had been said. She toyed with the amulet hanging around her neck a little.

"It has something to do with this, I know because I can put two and two together. Based on some information, and the fact that you as second had been the only one carrying an object such as this. So please save yourself some trouble and forget about any form of lying it won't do you any good with me dear." She said again sweetly but with under-hinting tones of 'I can tell if I'm being bull shitted, and I don't like it.' mixed in ever so slightly.

I'm from Canada, I picked the USA because it is large has a large population and is between Mexico and Canada. Were starting at a made up city on the border of Texas on the nothern area, pulling a resident evil and thats where the outbreak begins in a racoon city style fashion.

Well due to my not knowing those areas very well at all it wouldn't be any defined place unless someone knows key buildings and locations and whatever else there. Central USA North of Texas going down into it and spreading east and west and north as well, is that good?

Subject: Questins answered hopefully.

Well the posting order is rather slack. My main concern is people just getting out of hand with this that and the other. A week time span for a post should be good if at least one post of a paragraph or more is provided. People can RP Amongst themselves and others but similar to DnD format I will provide a 'turn order' for who is going when. Other then that I will give prompts and such for when the plot is advancing and what not.

Geographical is similar to this as I explained to my friend: The time is beggining of the outbreak, disgruntled lab employee released virus. The geographical location is the center of the Unite states, a large area spanning towns and cities and what not. Backrounds can be as desired ((My friend has been approved of as a British SAS unit, the sole survivor of his group.)) If you have questions regading your specific backround just hit me up. Where we all start out is in the epicentre of the outbreak at the start of it, during the initial fleeing and what not.

Oh, be as detailed with backrounds as you can, they may or may not give perks. If I have any issues with backrounds or characters I'll let you know and we can work it out, I am expecting some conflict but not a whole ton mainly because of how loosely this is being settled right now.

So the link is just to the recruit page of an RP I was trying to start, I'd like to extend the invitation to everyone included in this one if they are interested, it isn't anything complicated or complex and would mainly be used to tide us over while this one waits on others.

as I said it goes in the order of 1,2,3,4,5 kind of deal. But that doesn't mean you have to follow it amongst yourselfs, if you wish to have a conversation or RP with someone AT A PG-13 level, that means nothing graphic please lol. The order will be mainly used for during key moments and other such things like combat and what not, in otherwords: Don't go running off and trying to hijack the story or anything and pay attention to posts from me that may involve plot ((Will title as so, and give enough plot advance so people can interact, respond, and what not.)) I will label each of my posts as, RP, Plot, and such as correspondance requires.

Subject: Free-Roam Zombie RP, rules and important details inside!

Alrighty, well having been engaged in a friends DnD game and craving more and more RP I have decided to try and do something a little different, mostly because I don't know any rule sets other then 'make it up yourself.' So little introduction done the information regarding the Free-Roam is below! ^^

Character Sheets: ((Send a completed one to me in a PM.))

Name:
Age:
Gender:
Height:
Weight:
Appearance:
Backround:

Time setting:

The time setting will be modern times with a little allowance for fantasy, no special races or powers but each character will have an immunity to the virus...to an extent, one I won't disclose so as to leave that suspenseful and to discourage 'zombie make out sessions.' Weapons will be a little more whimsical as well, for example: Could find a broadsword in a house pantry or something else weird.

Rules setting:

Rules setting is a 'make it up MYSELF' rules, I have a rules set in my head and will use it as such, you don't need to be concerned with rolling or anything, any information I require from you I will either request via PM or during one of my posts.

Posting scheme:

I am a tad paranoid about rampant posting, so I would like some order to this, after everyone has posted once I will provide an update to the situation. So order is as such.

Me
Player 1
Player 2
Player 3
Player 4
Player 5
Me

just as an example, meaning after everyone has posted once if a decision has to be made, or combat is going on, then I will update for my post, if nothing special has to be said then I will either advance the group a little ways, or simply put a "Nothing special insert generic" post or sorts that will be easily reconizable. Again I only put this forward due to my own paranoia about posting getting completely out of hand ><;;

Number of players/reserved slots:

I would like to see upwards of 5-10 players as a broad spectrum, with a minimum of 4 reserved for friends. Should the slots be filled or a sufficient number reached I will notify, please send your completed character sheets to me and I will respond if we are in, I will close this forum or mark it in some form to signify that it is full. If you did't get in for this one, I wish you luck and look forward to seeing you for the next adventure ^^

So that about wraps it up, I look forward to seeing who is interested and might bite. I will be adventuring with everyone as a sort of 'guide' but I am a character and will have to abide by the same rules, this is mostly to help my above posting scheme or paranoia D=.

Sylvia smirked and toyed with the amulet a little bit, her mind settling on the information she had been presented earlier. "As of this moment and until further notice it is a trinket, a necklace have you, and it is mine. Before we begin with our little meeting allow me to introduce myself. I am Sylvia Serpentborn, I know your name is Happs but your last I don't." She stopped playing with the amulet and sat in her manner she had with the rest, the tented fingers and only the eyes.

"Before we begin Happs let me put forward some things you should be made aware of. Firstly, you can walk away from here with your life or you can die here this day. This will be determined by your cooperation now, and a number of factors. Secondly I do have questions to ask you and you in turn can ask some. If I answer them or not remains to be seen. But I expect you to answer mine." She lowered her hands and was smiling in an honest friendly manner, no coy smirk, no devilish grin. "Your a smart man Happs. But you also almost set me on fire and caused a great deal of grief to me." She showed the minor burns she had and the scorched section of her hair she would trim out later. "But yet here you are still breathing." Her smile faded slowly to be replaced with a look of anger.

"I don't like it when someone throws an explosive flask at me." She smiled again, less friendly but still friendly. "But we can work past that in the time we have now. Be a good man and we can get along fine. Cross me and, well you don't wish to know." She said with a light air of wimsy. "SO let us begin, shall we start with something simple to break the ice? Tell me your last name if you please. I would also like to know roughly how far your camp is, and if you keep all the collected goods you aquire there." Sylvia said, her voice cheery and friendly.

Subject: Quick little bit, Owen has final say though.

In case anyone was wondering, me and Owen are going as quickly as we can through the interrogations. They shouldn't take to long, and if you wish to interject your RPing in there by all means, Sordin if you want to do a bit about the escortation then go for it. If not we will assume you play the role of silent guard for the time being. I do encourage the RPing from others, but me and Owen both feel it neccisary to get the plot info out in the open and everyone up to speed fast. Bandit trials will be presented after should the group feel the desire to. If not we have a gallows and various forms of execution.

Sylvia took a moment, nodding a little before grabbing some writing supplies from nearby and in quick, crude but legible script, wrote down all the information she had attained. "Hmmm...very well I will inform the others of my decision regarding you when I have finished speaking with your friends. In the meantime you will be housed in the storage shed still bound. I suggest you reflect on your situation and your decisions and circumstances that led you to here. When your time for trial comes I will have more personal questions to ask, those will contribute to your living or execution." She spoke in a rather neutral tone letting off she neither cared nor was to concerned with Tanya's life.

Before anymore could be said Sylvia had opened the door and let Sordin escort her to the holding space, which as she had said had been adopted as the storage shed. She took her seat again, taking a second piece of paper and carefully jotting down all the important notes pertaining to the bandits.

Sylvia was seated with her elbows on the desk and her fingers tented, hiding her coy smirk and letting only the calm collected gleam of her eyes reveal anything. "A question for an answer, and an answer for a question. You and your ilk have been up to no good around here it appears. What we intend to do with you remains to be determined on a number of factors. How cooperative you are could very well spell the difference between the gallows, and your freedom." Sylvia said weighing each word carefully, and speaking slow enough so that the weight of each word sunk in immediatly after the one before it. She lowered her hands, her face neutral and completely devoid of emotion, she could give the best poker players a run for their money.

"I answered your question, you answer mine. Firstly I would like to know the names of everyone present in your group starting with your's followed by the hooded fellow. Secondly I want to know where you bring your ill gotten goods. Thirdly, I want to know if that is the same place you lot live, and if it isn't then tell me where you reside. When you answer more questions might arise." She finished, and a sadistic little smirk crossed her lips and her eyes narrowed slightly giving her a truly haunting look.

"If, you feel the need to lie or withhold information I have ways of finding out, I should also let you know that your choices are simple. Life, or death. Choose wisely." She chuckled a bit and raised an eyebrow. "But, I am getting ahead of myself, the posed questions I just raised will be answered by the end of our little talk. After your name we shall see if it is worth pursuing that venue or not." She tented her fingers again hiding her mouth, her eyes calculating and focused. Sylvia had always known how to talk to people and get what she desired, she relished any opportunity to exercise her charms.

Sylvia smiled warmly at Ortlieb. "I suppose we should be getting back, today has been long and things will be interesting tomorrow to say the least. Goodluck to you tomorrow, I expect a proper introduction to your cuddly friend after." Sylvia said with much cheer and childish teasing, she meant no harm by it and in fact meant it in a comical manner although she wasn't one to burst ribs with laughter.

She made her way to the fort with Ortlieb, and after finding out what was what, she excused herself as politely as she could wishing the rest of the group luck and made her way to her intended sleeping spot. She took bed in the stables so as to be ready immediatly tomorrow, packing a good spot of hay and such for a bed and immediatly falling deep asleep.

((Rushed I know, but more character bonding and relationship building with the rest can occur. The day has been wrapped up, and I belive Sylvia has made a friend =D. ))

Sylvia blinked and furrowed her brow a faint blush coming to her cheeks at the question and what Ortlieb had stated he was. "I'm sorry, I'm not familiar with half-orcs, or orcs that matter. I have heard of them but I never saw, or read much about them. Are you treated badly because of it?" She asked and smiled warmly again. "And in answer to your question, you saw my fangs earlier, I'm not able to keep them exposed for long nor am I sure of their source. All I know is I have had a strong affinity for magic since I was born, I've also been able to communicate, or at the very least, have animals understand me as if I was speaking their own tongue. Particularily snakes and other such reptiles." Sylvia sighed and chuckled a bit darkly.

"I don't even know my proper last name, or who my parents really were. I have adopted the name of 'Serpentborn' in accordance with the features of a freak I exhibit." Anger rose and it shone in her voice, she was looking down and to the side, not wishing to meet the eyes of Ortlieb, she didn't want to look at them and see what she always saw when discussing this, contempt. "You probably think less of me, everyone did...not anymore." She sighed heavily again and felt the anger subside into sorrow and anguish. She raised her head and met Ortlieb's eyes. "If you do, please don't tell me. Your one of the few people I have met who hasn't tried to hurt me, hasn't degraded me, and hasn't only been kind to me to get into my pants. I respect you greatly Ortlieb, and, if you are treated badly for being a half-orc. I will not let that stand." She bowed deeply to him, Sylvia had adopted Ortlieb has an older brother at that moment.

Sylvia shrieked as she felt the sudden burst of heat and flame behind her. Singed and startled she dashed forward and took a glance back to see the stables buring. She skidded to a stop and turned facing the fleeing hooded man. "That wasn't very nice!" She called, gritting her teeth she balled her fist another magic missle appearing in it. "NO ESCAPE!" She roared and punched it forward, sending it straight into the hooded bandit. Again she readied herself, her eyes focused on the hooded man and the rest of the bandits.

Sylvia stopped and blinked pulling herself from her mind, visions of sugar plums were not dancing in her head. She had been reflecting on what had transpired and was letting the taste settle in her mouth so to speak, with the abrupt, but not unwelcome approach of Ortlieb she felt rather taken aback. "You have no need to apologize to me Ortlieb, it is I who should be sorry and I am. I brushed you off in order to put forth my thoughts on the plans, and ignored you that was wrong. I am sorry." She smiled kindly and lifted him so he was no longer lowered. She leaned up and kissed his cheek gently.

"You have shown me much more kindness then most of the others here, the only other one being Junn, and I hope my actions...and what I showed...won't reflect negatively on me." She cringed a bit out of habbit, but in such a way as if she was expecting to be struck by something, when nothing hit she quickly regained her composure and brushed it aside. "Your not like the others, neither is your large cuddly friend. May I ask what he is and, what you are?" She titled her head a bit, her eyes showing curiosity and her voice holding hesitatance. She didn't wish to intrude or step on any toes that might be sensative around the question she asked. She liked Ortlieb, felt comforatable around him and more at ease then she did with the others.
