(Back Post: Previous day.)

Sylvia slinked down from her tree feeling much refreshed after a good hard think. "Well, that settled I best head back. Don't wanna be the last one out." She said with a small chuckle, she was holding herself differently now, not quite sure what it was but most would assume it was just the sly coy smirk she was wearing. She headed back the way she came, on the main road now in clear view. She was humming a small tune to herself and keeping an even pace not a fast one either. She was in no rush to get back, she was enjoying the wildernessish for now.

(Current events: Surprise attack.)

"Fancy this you disgusting pig!" Sylvia roared popping from cover, she was furious at the hooded mans jest and if steam could shoot from ears and nostrils in rage she would be a kettle on the burner to long. She stepped out into view giving her a clear line of sight of the hooded man. "Vile beast!" She cried and clapped her hands, pulling one back then winding up. As she wound it up a ball of energy formed and she lobbed it at him. "Try some Magic Missle for a tumble scum!" She spat, the ball of energy wizzing off and striking the hooded man in the chest. Sylvia normally would be grinning at the hit, but her face one of contempt and disgust. She readied herself for whatever would happen next, holding one hand up palm open, her other clenched into a fist pulled back as if to throw a punch.

((Note: She is not performing an action there, but it seems more natural to prepare for whatever might happen, then suddenly become rigid and boardlike.))

I'm expecting less of a balls to the walls serious brawl coming up and something along the lines of comical, mostly because of how rag tag and mismatched our group is right now, ontop of the situation of doors, bandits, and locations of springing. Itll be funnnn lol.

Subject: Solitude and thinking.

Sylvia had left her seclusion and instead had chosen instead to climb a tree and get a better view, although she was still a little hidden, she was now mostly visable and anyone could spot her if they weren't being oblivious. "Lousy, stupid, grrr..." She was still muttering, much less anger and more so annoyance and exasperation. She had thought that when she had escaped life would be easier and people wouldn't be so stupid. Instead she had been wrong and hopeful in youth, she hated it so far. "But....better here then there." She breathed, her face looked glum and she sat with her knees to her chest. It was true, better here then where she had been. "I suppose, there just being who they are, at least their nice enough to me." She sighed heavily and looked in the direction of the sun but not at it.

The air was still cool enough to keep her feeling chilly. She let one of her legs drop down the branch and swing lazily in the air. her composure was one of deep thought and gloom at the same time. Her eyes looked a little hazy as she was absorbed into her own thoughts right now. Things were easier then before, but harder at the same time and this confused her a bit. "Freedom...isn't so free, is it?" She asked aloud, tilting her head back against the tree, closing her eyes and letting the air wash over her, cool her, calm her. "I miss Fang..." She said and sighed heavily, feeling pains of sadness tug at her being.

"I see I wasted my time then, if you had my...upbringing, you would understand my reasoning. But since you do not and your bent on the avoidance of getting what we need through whatever means we deem needed then I'm just eye candy sitting here." Sylvia stood up, no longer hiding her anger in her voice or her face. She weighed her words heavy and frowned. "I never said I would use torture, but if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go be alone for a while before I do something stupid." She opened her mouth and exposed a pair of needle like viper fangs where her K-9s should be.

She hissed similar to that of a serpent and closed her mouth. "I can make 'asking really nice.' much more intimidating or sweet talk, then you would think. But clearly you don't care." She excused herself from the table and turned walking off at a brisk pace. She exited the fort and wandered a little ways off, not to far but far enough that she was off the main road and hidden enough so she could see anyone looking for her, but also not be noticed by passerbys on the road.

She sat there muttering to herself, trying to calm herself down.

Sylvia turned away from the half-orc for a moment and raised an eyebrow at the other young lady. "Dear drink loosens lips, but it would also raise suspicion if we suddenly invited them for a brew or two. I'd sooner say we make sure they are secure, unarmed, and isolated from each other. Without their numbers around the less willed of the group would crack. I can talk to them and I can extract what we need given little time. Assuming you don't disaprove of my methods. I would rather use words to get the information then liquids or drugs." Sylvia said with clear contempt for the idea of drugging or drunking them. "I've seen drink and alchemy be used in horrid ways, I refuse to let such things happen again. Not while I'm free." She breathed, anger rising in her voice.

Sylvia remained looking calm and collected, sitting upright and trying to show she wasn't just a child. Standing up again she placed her hands on the table and stared between them gathering her thoughts. "Surprise, we need to take them by that and give them no reason to suspect anything different, I don't like the idea of letting them just take the goods and then vacating. Should they catch wind of being tracked on their way back they could very well lead us in circles, or worse to our deaths." She looked up and from each member of the group. "Were at loggers head right now, here is what I propose so we all stop dancing around doing diddly." She sat back down and took a deep breath.

"We let them in and when they are far enough into the fort, we block their escape and make sure the gates are closed. When we spring out, Oleg and Svetlana take cover and void the fighting, get inside and lock us and them out. The one we want, is the hooded one, he has a position of power with the group clearly, the others are more then likely just throw away recruits with little information. They can die, the hooded one can't. We fight, we capture the hooded one, we make sure he isn't going anywhere and keep him unarmed. We interrogate him for the information we need, and any others who may survive."

Taking another breath she looked to the one who had voiced letting them steal the goods. "You seem abject to fighting under risk of retaliation, were going to have to do something we can't just let them take the goods and then dick off. But I'm not saying we butcher them like sheep either, we get the information we need, we give them a chance at redemption, should they turn away then damned they be." She stood up and crossed her arms over her chest and looked to everyone present.

"Can we agree upon this? or at the very least some aspects of it? Or have I just wasted my time? If I have let me know and I'll remove myself so you all can go back to your politician like bickering." Her voice weighed heavy with exasperation and irritation. Situations of these sort, the bickering the 'planning' the hundreds of different ideas floating around and no one agreeing, these made her angry.

Sylvia sat back down and smiled kindly at the half-orc. "I'm sorry to have been rude to you just then, my...manners aren't the best." She then turned to the rest of the group, not smiling. "I'm sorry for being blunt and rude to you as well, but we need to figure this out."

We discussed this previously you and I Owen, Sylvia wouldn't be abject to letting them go if they redeem themselves, but should they show or be unwilling to then yes the execution is what would happen, and I would think having your face and brain melted would be quicker then hanging. So NO it isn't "Interrogate, kill." they are offered redemtpion, should they turn it down then damned they be that much quicker.

Ignore the title but listen anyways. How about we DON'T kill the bandits and instead disarm and capture them first. Or at the very least the commander who seems to be a familiar face amongst their ranks for the time being. We capture him, Sylvia interrogates him, we squeeze as much information from him as possible, then gut him like a fish. We capture more alive the better, torture works best if your fellows are exposed to it before you are, to loosen those otherwise tight lips.

Sylvia slumped back into her seat and tapped the half-orc on his shoulder lightly. "What did I miss? numbers, plans, names? I'm Sylvia." She smiled and held her hand out to him in handshake format. She had never seen someone quite like him and was very intrigued, but she also felt at ease around him. Something about the half-orc just made her feel safe. He was larger then she and he also seemed to be friends with the large strong looking hairy thing. Her face was warm and her voice friendly, despite having been annoyed not to long ago by the man she had adopted as grandad. Her mind had a momentary thought, and she wondered if she was being to open with everyone so soon. Her eyes flashed panic and worry, but only for a brief if noticeable second.

I has a plan: Sylvia volunteers herself as live bait to distract the attention of the bandits, the others lie in wait and when the moment is deemed right, BAM! hit 'em hard and fast and bring them all down.

"Bandits, raiders, second of every something month, tax collection, murder mayhem, free room and board. That is the jist of it, hopefully one of the others can fill us in on the remaining details." She said grumpily making sure she kept closer to Junn, herself not to confident to be out in the wilderness she didn't know to well. She had only dared traverse unknown lands once, and she learned it was no fun if your alone. "I know there probably is, but I worry." She sadded with a heavy hearted sigh.

Sylvia stopped and pulled Junn to a stop gently. "Listen, Lloyd wandered off out here to look for supplies for his profession and I wanted to go along and see if I could talk with him. We implimented a password in case we are out when night falls." She leaned in and whispered into his ear making sure he heard her very clearly. "Venom Tooth is the password to get back in, it was originally 'Shedded Skin' but I changed it and only Svetlana knows right now, no telling who could be a spy inside the compound." She looked up, then swiveled around and frowned a look of concern crossing her face. "You old fool! Wandering off on your own in unknown lands! By the nine hells you better come back alive!" She shouted to the area, hoping Lloyd heard her.

She had lost track of him and was worried. "Damn it all." She clenched her fists then turned abrutly heading back the direction Junn was going. "Fine, lets get back and see if we can't a tracker or something out to make sure gran'dad doesn't get killed." She said grumbling under her breath.

Sylvia let out a sigh and blew a raspberry in Lloy'ds direction. "He says I'm a child? impatient like one is him." Sylvia said then stepped over leaning in to whisper to Svetlana. "For saftey sake the password is Venom Tooth. I have no idea if anyone was listening to my previous suggestion, but I don't want to take any chances, pass it on to the watch." She smiled and gave a crude curtsey, but she was trying.

Her buisness dealt with she turned on her heel and dashed for the gate to catch up to Lloyd. Grumbling to herself as she reached the gate and stepped out she took a moment to survey her surroundings, and make sure she made some land marks for herself, she had learned to do this after she had left the squaller she had once called home. "Rock, tree, path, rock." She muttered, drawing an arrow in the dirt to the side indicating the direction of the sun. "West, east, north, south. Got it."

She skipped off down the path at a brisk, steady pace scanning her surroundings, doing as she had done before. She caught sight of Junn and waved to him calling. "Junn! Over here! I got something important to tell you!" She kept waving trying to get his attention. He had no idea of the passwords implimented.

Turning her head she looked up at Oleg and Svetlana her face remaining hidden slightly. "The password can be 'Shedded skin.' ok?" Turning to Lloyd she looked up at him and smiled. "Could you wait for me please? I would like to inform Junn." She asked then stopped and thought. "Or, wait for me outside the gate at the very least." She added as she sat up more. "Svetlana, could I speak with you for just a moment, please?" She asked standing up and heading away from the group out of ear shot.

Sylvia had no idea if anyone in the area could be a spy, or hear them, but she wished to speak with Svetlana in private to give a better password that she could relay to whoever would be watching should it turn dark. She clenched and unclenched her hands nervously, a bad habit she had developed in her past, whenever she felt anxious or any sort of panic she would often try to hide or make herself look smaller, or fidget.

Sylvia recognized the mannurisms and posture at once when Aria spoke. She tried to hide it but her eyes gave it away clearer then anything if one was watching. She smiled sweetly at Aria, but her eyes showed confliction within. Realizing she might be misread as insane she lowered her head avoiding eye contact and started eating or more accuratly devouring.

She ate swift and fast, sparing not a single crumb or a drop, using no utensils or regard for proper table manners. She was quiet though the only sound she made was the quiet setting of the bowl down, clean as if freshly washed and no mess on her or around her. Just one of the stranger talents she had.

Refusing to make eye contact with anyone after what she had just done registered she lowered herself further and her head, her hair falling in front of her face covering most of it trying to hide herself and her embaressment. She listened to what would be said and would speak if she had something to say on the matter or questions, but after all was said and done she would try to disappear and hide. She felt agitated and her now bare feet drawing squiggles under the tale and the occasional fidget were subtle hints to this.

"Don't worry I'm sure we can handle it.....Could I inquire as to 'what' it is?" She asked tilting her head in the quizical manner she adopted with Junn. her fingers rapped the table lightly as she fixed her eyes on Oleg. She was trying to see past his guarded thoughts and walls. Her stomach grumbled and she broke contact and looked down at the bowl of food licking her lips lightly. "And, why the second of every month? I assume bandits or raiders of some form or type, but any information you can give us would be useful." She added her eyes flicking from bowl to utensil to cup.

She was embaressed to admit, or let anyone find out at the moment but she had very little idea how to properly eat, most of the time she had just used her hands to cup liquids in and any bowl or other such thing she just picked up and ate the food directly off of. Her hunger was pinnacle and screaming at her to devour every drop. But she refused, wanting to try and show she could be a proper young lady, especially around these people she would be seeing for a while.

I'm hurt to be honest that fool clearly has no idea how lucky he is to actually be offered a place to sleep..." She dropped her voice and looked down at her folded arms her memories flooding back slightly. "I know I am..." She sighed heavily and remained as she was, moving slightly to the side so as to not be in the way should someone barge in or run through, a side of her and memories she had rather wished forgotten has bubbled to the surface. Old wounds had opened slightly and she stood there hunched at the shoulders staring at her own bare feet.

Sylvia cocked her head to the side and looked towards the sound of trouble. "Excuse me a moment." She removed herself from her seated position and stood up stretching. Giving her head a light shake she made her way to the argument that was happening a little ways away and gently tapped Lloyd on the shoulder. "Excuse me, but may I offer a suggestion?" She said in a kindly voice looking up at him. "If you need more space perhaps you could take one of the back areas in the guest house alongside my spot? I would be willing to help or find people to help put up some form of sound proofing so you may have your privacy." She said, gaining her trademark smirk and coy glint in her eyes. "That is, unless you would rather risk being evicted from this ladies estate by her husband." She added her voice gaining just a slight hint of impishness behind it. She held her hands behind her back, making sure step back out of striking range of the cane, offering him a friendly smile.

She turned back to Junn and sighed. "I hope most of the group is as friendly as you have been Junn, I'm not one for bad company." She said with a slight chuckle, resting her head on her arms.
