Subject: A Nice First Strike or " Not on my Backside Again"
So with set determination Thor meets the charge of the oncoming wolves one targeting him and charging right at him as it gets within striking distance the stout dwarf takes his first swing with his dwarven war axe and striking the wolf a solid deep cutting hit right at the back of the head into it's neck area,( The technique he was using against the wolf is one many fighters who use two weapons practice it does not always go down as nice as this one was going to but the idea to use your first strike to add umph to your second and usually the weaker of your two blows is often practiced.) Even as he is swinging the axe at the wolf Thor is already starting the second part of his attack and the morningstar in his left hand is starting to move also in towards the other side of the wolfs head and the one two punch works to perfection with a deep cut in the left side of it's neck when Thor's morningstar strikes the wolf moving with full force from the other side the impact of the weapon striking the wolfs head snaps the animals head back in the other direction the force so great Thor decapitates the wolf. As the wolfs head falls to one side the animals charge brings it crashing into Thor but with his feet planted firmly he barely flinches from the impact and merely shoves the now headless carcass to the side.
Spinning on his heels to see about the wolf that had slipped between himself and Billy he finds that it is impaled upon the spear of Alea who had set it to meet the wolfs charge great move.Of the other two wolves that had come at them one was wounded and lying with it's back legs now useless. However the second of the two was now hanging from Billy's shoulder it's teeth sunk deep into his flesh. Billy has his great sword in both hands and across the wolfs back in an attempt to breaks its grip by breaking its back. With the two locked in so close a struggle Thor feel it should be no problem to help Billy. He of course wants to be sure his attack will in no way endanger Billy but with the size of the wolf that should really not be a problem. however just to be sure Thor positions himself in such a way that the swinging of his axe should in no way endanger Billy, ( of course there are no sure things in battle) Any ways Thor brings his war axe down aiming to catch the wolf in the middle of it's back in an attempt with the edge of his war axe to cut the wolfs spine or at least cause it enough pain to loosen it's grip on Billy.
(OOC: Now I do have a question that I am going to post here because the answer is about our battle here. above I have laid out my actions for my next round. However both Billy ans the wolf are going to act before I do so it is possible that Billy finishes the wolf off in his bear hug, or at least causes it to release him in which case it may be in a different position so actually by the time it is my segment of this round the actions posted above may be useless so is it alright to post two actions with one going into effect if the situation changes before it actually becomes my turn? or if I'm not sure what may change can the post I put up actually be changed to meet the new situation because you know it would be impossible to wait and for everyone to actually post in the order of initiative although that would be nice. Thanxs )

Subject: In the Inn
Xour now sitting in the Inn with his first tankard of ale finished in three large swallows so when Highnar offers another he accepts. He is glad the days battles are over and they have time to relax at least for the night. He looks around the table at the gathering of both old and now some new friends and the ranger can't help but feel at peace with this group. They worked so well together in battle today that the others who came upon them afterwards had a hard time believing that the seven of them had done so much damage.
When Brianna stands up to make her toast to them all she takes the words right from his mouth they had work well together, and when she salutes him he returns the salute to her with a smile on his face.
After her toast Xour turns his attention to their two newest members who had helped in todays battle, the mystic Cerric and Vatta who was protecting the mystic. Turning his attention to Cerric he speaks to the Mystic Well good sir I have not really had the time for a proper introduction, but let me say first that you fought well today, anyways I am Xour and I welcome you to our happy little group, also if there is anything that you prefer to drink other than this fine ale I would be pleased to purchase it for you.Most of us seem to like this fine ale and as he speaks he raises his tankard and with a nice long slow swallow finishes off his tankard. When gone he sets it to the table and wipes the foam and moisture from his lip with the sleeve of his left arm. Then with a smile he slaps Highnar on the back Is that not true my friend we adore this fine ale Then raising his hand to summon their waitress and pointing to their table and making a circle sign around the table Please bring us another round of ale and if anyone wants anything other see that they get what they want.
He has not felt this comfortable for a long time and Xour was enjoying the company of his friends. As he is sitting and drinking here in the Inn he can't help but think back to that day, which seems so long in the past now, In an Inn where he had been drawn and where he first meet Highnar, Brianna, Lorae, Logan. He remembers how uncomfortable he had felt being indoors at that time being a ranger and a loner with his wolf Draug as his only company. How things had changed since that first meeting. Now he felt comfortable here inside the Inn drinking and celebrating their victory being with his friends.
With his tankard now full once again he takes a good long pull and it then decides it is his turn to salute and toast his friends. Standing at his chair he spreads his arms wide as if trying to embrace his friends in a large embrace Friends both old and new, today we once again put to their proper end an unrelenting evil that continues to plague those of us that seek justice and good for our fellow beings. Everyone of you around this table fought valiantly, and to each of you I say “job well done” and lastly to those ones that will remember when we first meet that day at that small Inn in Shadowdale, I must admit that day is now one of my fondest memories and has turned out to be a great turning point in the life of this ranger so I say to you “an coia a' ilya” ( elven for ”long life to all” )
With that Xour raises his tankard and takes a long drink in toast to his friends sitting down he finishes his drink and orders another.

Subject: The Wolves Cometh.
As the wolves quickly approach Siliwen in just the nick of time manages to restake the horses with more slack in their tether but in doing so left herself open to attack. Because of this Riddle leaves the protective circle the three had formed also leaving an opening for the wolves which one of them manages to exploit. Although Thor is trying to keep himself placed between the approaching wolves and the ladies one still manages to slip by and looks like it will make it's attack on Alea.
As it seems with everything they have encountered on this strange world so far these wolves are like none Thor has come across before being much larger and it seems more ferocious. With one charging directly at him he keeps his stance strong and at the right second brings his two weapons to bare upon the wolf. Coming at first from the right with his dwarven war ax hoping to catch the creature on the back of its neck with the main goal to try to sever its spine or the arteries that flow through most creatures neck to feed their brains with air, or if nothing else start its head moving down and left from the blow because just as he is finishing that swing he starts to bring his left hand into motion in the opposite direction from the left with a crushing blow from his morning star trying with this attack to catch the wolf as its head is moving towards his swing from the force of his first attack, this is a common tactic the dwarf uses when fighting with both his weapons, to try to use one attack to enhance the second he can only hope his timing and aim are on.

Subject: Second Awaking
After finding out they where awaken by a bad dream it seemed like only seconds had passed since they lied back when they where once again awakened by the watch, however this time it looked like real trouble was approaching. With the moon lite and the help of his night vision Thor could tell there where some large animals fast approaching their position. Riddle however at once announces that it is wolves that are coming.
Thor turns to Billy Very good plan Billy You, myself, and Riddle should form a circle with the two ladies who can cast spells should cast from within the circle. That is if all agree with that.
Thor will prepare for the coming assault by pulling both his weapons with his Dwarven war ax in his right hand and his morningstar in his left. taking a position in direct line to the oncoming animals he waits.

Subject: To Town.
After having words with both Highnar and Brianna the Horse woman who seemed to be the leader of the rest of the party that had followed her onto the field speaks back to their group. "For give me if I sounded incredulous, I saw your numbers and the dead, I just was astounding on realizing that 7 of you here helped us be victorious in the Battle of EvenSong, without even being in the main battle."
"When we return to Asbenford, You must tell the tale of your part in this battle, it will be one for the bards to sing."
“As usual” the always egotistical Xour thinks to himself, but finally all here seemed complete and they headed out and towards the town of Asbenford. They arrived there late at night. As the other female riders break off from them the female officer leads the group right to the White Hart Inn. As they dismount a halfelf approaches Brianna
"I will take you horses and see to them." When he sees the white and black stallions he pauses,
"I will have to move horses, but they will get stalls," he says waking up to Brianna. "I hope the Black has settled your mare, so there is no more trouble with him."
Xour is not quite sure what that is all about, but all he really cares about right now would be to satisfy his hunger and thirst. He will hand his horse “Mottley” over to be stabled and then waits for the rest to join him.

Subject: Back on the Road.
As they return from the woods where Anya's cabin was they find their host Tyr from the Carousing Pony was there to greet them, though there seems to be a little difference of thought on how long they where in there, but that matters not. Tyr is disapointed when he finds out they will be resupplying and riding out at once and he can not persaude them to stay at all. So being the good host he is he takes the group and introduces them to the owner of the mercantile shop, Arthur Bent, and talks him into giving the group a discount on any items purchased.
Arthur smiles as he bows slightly to the party, “Welcome to Northpoint, my friend Tyr says you are in need of supplies and he has impressed upon me the urgency of your journey. How may I help you?” Letting Arthur know they would just like to look over his merchadise for anything they may need for they journy he leads them inside his shop.
Inside the mercantile is as expected, the main room is packed with barrels, sacks, boxes, tables, etc. all filled or covered with all manner of goods. Just about every normal item any adventurer could want can be found here. “Look around and let me know if you don’t see what you want,” Arthur says as he heads towards the counter, “Just bring up what you want to purchase and we will settle it up there.”
Thor although in a hurry does take his time and looks over what Arthur has to offer. One thing Thor will be seeking for their trip is more of the daily and weekly packaged rations so when needed he can eat on the fly. Also the Dwarf does have a soft spot for certain types of food and drink and if he can find it he would like to buy blocks of any types of cheese as well as dryed or pickled fish. Now these are not nessicities just things that keep the Dwarves moral up while on the road. Then of course it goes almost without saying but the dwarf will need to refill all his ale bags with the best ale he can find in Northpoint.
Thor will look to purchase these items at the merchants shop.

Also since his one weapon was destroyed in their battle with the Nas'ir he will venture next door to the aromery and see what he might be able to replace his Urgrosh with.Since he already has his two melee weapons and from the battle they where just in he decides that maybe he would be better off and better serve the group if he looked into a ranged weapon this time, so being proficient with the simple weapons he goes over to have a look at the hevey crossbows and the bolts that go with it.If there is such a weapon avaiable he will go ahead and purchase it along with 2 score of bolts for it.
Now they where back on the road and staying off the road they still made pretty good time. Finally the group stopped and camp was set watches where made and they settled down to sleep. sometime in the night Thor was awakened by a scream he instandly rolls out of his bedroll with both weapons in hand but looking around he sees no danger he does see that Billy is also up and with weapon so he strolls over to him. Could of swore I'd erd someone wail buts now I'd don't sees no dangers mayhaps I was a dreamen.

Subject: To buy or not to buy
Quick question before moving on. Am I correct in assuming that somewhere along the line you had said in one post that all of our equiptment had been brought along with us when we where transported to this new world.
So I want to be sure I have everything that I have listed on my character sheet under equipment, kits carried, transport, and potions & magic items as well as all of the gold That I had left. Please let me know.

Subject: Back to Northpoint
So they finally left the healers house with maybe at least a little better understanding of what it was they where about to undertake. They made their way back to Northpoint all the while discussing what to do next.
I think that I have to agree with everything that has been said so far. I believe that since we are already in Northpoint that we must supply ourselves here and now with what ever we feel we need and can carry, for we should probably avoid contact with with anyone else and stay out of the towns as much as we can. We have the map which shows there is one main road and although that may be the fastest way I don't know if will be our best, but time for that we must get our animals supply ourselves and move on as quickly as we can.

Subject: Drinks for us all
The loot on the field is collected as Xour sits atop his horse and waits for their next move.However it seems their next move won't be the one he thought for it seems by diverting this section of the Orc army and striking them down here they had allowed the other armies to encircle the rest of the Hoard and finish them off.
Not one to usually take offense when someone shows doubt at his or his parties abilities, but when the Riders who had shown up when their battle was already over started to cast doubt that the 7 of them had actually finished off 4 score or more of the now dead orc and goblins littering the field he was about to speak his mind when Highnar took care of that with his usual Dwarven ettiquite. Xour can only laugh as his friend tells the head rider offAgain lass canna ya not see they be only 7 of us standing here. Them’s Goblins be dead and you’re left flank be secure dueing to us. Ya should be thanking us instead of questioning what we be saying.” Lucky for the rider Brianna took over as Highnar stoped to take a breath.
Then the conversation turned to a better subject one of eating and drinking and that suited Xour just fine.He also had worked up a good need for food and drink.With Highnar finally on his horse and the party healed, all the items on the field gathered Xour rides his horse up to where Highnar and Brianna are This Ranger has also worked up a great hunger and thirst and would be more'en happy to throw'en some coin to quence our mighty thirst's just lead us to the nearest watering hole.

Subject: The Sounds of Death
So Delkin with the rest of the group that had exscaped where getting ready for what could be a sucide run for freedom when they where stopped in their tracks by the sound of combat coming from the area they where about to enter.Delkin had been around enough to know the sound of a crossbow's twangy string sound as it was fired, and they heard many such sounds all at once.Then there was no mistaking the cries of the goblins who had been hit and where now dying.
Moving from the middle to the front where the two ladies Tyra and Illiana had been preparing to lead the charge Delkin motinons to them that he will move forward and take a quick look at what has happened in the next chamber.Continuing to use his varied skilla in moving and hiding he will move to a point where he can see into the part of the cave where the goblins had been sleeping he will then quickly return to the group and report.

Subject: A Run For Freedom!
When the ruckus of the goblins waking up and finding out they had escaped Delkin was done the one hall scouting, realizing what a bad position he would be in if caught here by himself he at once scrambles back the way he had come to meet back up with the rest of the group in the little hall they had holed up in.
Once back with the others it seems they have decided to try to punch their way out so when he gets back with the group and Iliana offers up the extra spears even though he is not proficient with them he will take one if there are any left to take.If not then I guess he will have to just throw rocks. Not sure how they had decided which way was out Delkin will try to get into the middle of the group and wait for them to move out.

Subject: Are we leaving ?
After the arrival of the newcomers who it seemed where also in pursuit of the Orc's and Goblinsthe group gathered at the edge of the field where the fighting took place and where making small talk as they prepared to leave the area. Brianna once again asked Cerric to use his skills to scan the field because she believed there where items of magic still on the field left by those they have slain. If Cerric does cast the needed spell to sweep the field looking for magic Xour will be ready to ride out and retrieve it for the party, mostly.
Other than that he just listens to all the talk of a rest and eating and drinking and who
should supply the First round of drinks, having been with these adventures long enough he knows this is all in good fun. He didn't think they would be heading anywhere that would be a place to rest, eat, and drink at least not right away. He believed that they where headed to now rendezvous with the main body of this Orc's army in an effort to halt it's advance and save the citizens of the city from Orc invaders.
So as he sat and watched the field for any sign of left behind magical items he also awaits the order to pull out and hurry to their next killing fields.

Subject: Of Course I'm In Against This Evil
Siliwen states that she was in and then asks "Thondrek what say you."
I assume she is talking to me Thor since I don't think anyone else has a name close to that.
Excuse me Siliiwen I believe you are asking me, not to be a pain at a time like this but my name is pronounced Thordinal if you want to use it but please just call me Thor. Anywho I have already stated (Quote " I am however not one to ever turn my back on any people who are under the threat of being overrun and crushed by any evil force no matter how overpowering that force may seem at first glance." I for one will be accepting this challenge,").
So yes I am in and I think that ia all of us except for Riddle since right now he can't answer, but I get the feeling that he will probally be in for whomever brought us here was probally pretty sure we would all agree.
So once again he turns to Anya and asks her several questions.
Anya you have been good to us thus far, and I have several more things I would like to try to find out before we venture from here.
Of course a detailed run down as best as you can on any and all creatures we may have to fight against.
Then is there anyone you can think of who might have more information on this area called the Grey Peaks.I would like to if possable find someone, or if need be possably books somewhere that might be able to describe the area more, maybe possably even a map even if it is probally out dated.
Someone or again books that might give us some info on the Dwarves who lived in these peaks, anything about what type of mining they where doing, or again possable maps, of the Dwarves underground city or mines they where digging.
then of course we need as much info as we can gather on this stone that they are after any legends at all.
He then scans the room his eyes unfocused as if somewhere far away, but as the group gets to know him better they will find that when it looks like he has drifted off into another land he has actually just turned his thoughts inwards and is in deep thought, however if someone was to say try to approach him with a weapon or such they would find he is very much aleart to his surroundings. After about a minuite of this dreamy state he once again speaks.
Now I know it has already been made clear that as outsiders we would not have much influence on trying to get anyone here to do anything. However you Anya since you believe very strongly that this evil is about to break out of it's confines and start to envelope the lands, maybe while we are attempting to find this artifact and either destroy it or at least stop it from being used by the evil, maybr you could use your influence to find someone who might be able to at least approach the Elves, and inform them of what it is you believe for I do know that Elves have a way of knowing what is and what is not the truth. For then at least they may prepare themselves for the war that may come if, and I will leave it at that. I just think the Elves may be helpful if need be in the long run.
Once again he waits to get whatever info Anya might have now or directions to where he might find what he is looking for.

once Anya has her final say on hat she believes their alternatives are and they aren't many and they aren't pretty. When she is finished Siliwen is the first to speak and she is not happy, "It seems you know much more about what is happening than we do. And you said our best bet is to head for the Grey peaks find this object, first or take it away form those who have it before they can truly use it and defeat the leader of the opposing forces."
"My own magics are minimal. I am just starting out. I can see no seasoned warriors or cleric amongst our numbers. We are rather slender reeds to be used against a mighty foe that has so far done what he has please for 50 years. He has been reparing, by gathering his forces building them up, perhaps already has found this item. We were barely able to survive the four Na'sir that attacked us."
"I don't know about the rest of you but I feel betrayed, if not by the Gods then by whatever brought us here. I could lend a hand and do what I could to help but i looks like the whole responsibility for this rests on us alone. So I am willing to listen to what some of you others have to say since you are in the same situation as I am."
At this point Thor feels it is time to speak again, although he is not really sure what he is going to say because he believes that what Siliwen has said is in fact the truth, and their chances to complete this task seems very remote. However being one brought up to always take a task that looks overwhelming and to the best of his ability try to bring it down to size. Doesn't know if he can do that here or not.
Stepping forward from his stool Thor speaks to the newly formed party.
Siliwen at this very moment I have to agree and I to am feeling betrayed by whomever or whatever it is that brought us here. I am however not one to ever turn my back on any people who are under the threat of being overrun and crushed by any evil force no matter how overpowering that force may seem at first glance. I know this task at the moment looks totally unrealistic for us, I am however usually trusting in our gods and their abilities to select champions capable of fulfilling the task set before them. I am not however saying they are infallible all creatures great and small make mistakes, but anyways all that hot wind aside I for one will be accepting this challenge, so if there are any here who are also going to stay and fight we need to put our heads together and plan an forrey into the Grey Peaks. I do believe that if I heard Anya's last statement correctly we do have a choice here,“you must decide if this is a mission you are willing to undertake. I wont lie to you, it will be very dangerous and probably some of you will not make it back alive, and I know that you have been brought here against your will but ultimately the choice is still yours. Those of you that decide to go, I will tell them what I can of the foes you will encounter as well as answer any of your other questions.”
So here are some things I would like to know if at all possible before we start to plan a course of action.
First of all of course who all here is in.
Then from Anya we need as much info on the foes we will be facing as she can give us.
Also Anya can you point us to anyone who may have more information about the Grey Peaks themselves maybe some info on the Dwarves that lived there, possibly if these Dwarves where mining the peaks and had some trade with any of the cities and towns around maybe there is a more detailed map of the Grey Peaks the area around the peaks or maybe even a map of these Dwarves underground city or mines.
There is more i would like for us to know but lets start here and see what we get

Subject: The Need to Make Plans.
Thor sits quietly and listens to Anya tell her story of the invasion of the evil onto their island kingdom and all that has followed, and as it turns out it is a pretty typical story of ambition of evil to overrun all in its path and establish itself everywhere. This of course is against all of Thor's beliefs and he at once realizes he will do all in his power to put an end to this master and his evil minions.
He listens to what both Alea and Billy have to say and comes to a realization that actually both are probably correct at least partly. He speaks his feelings while they wait for Anya to answer Siliwen questions about their foes. I do think that you both have valid points that you have made, and I think we are going to probably have to implement a portion of both ideas if we are to be successful here on this new world. Since the armies that are here are going to only protect the larger cities that they inhabit I am in agreement that the smaller towns and villages will need to learn to help themselves. You say Billy
Have you ever seen what 4 or 5 trained, mounted warriors can do to a village? They simply slaughter anyone who stands against them. I have seen it before and wish to take no part in leading innocent people to their death.
and this can be true However in my life I have found it to be true that an evil such as we are going to face here will usually upon entering a village such as we are speaking about tends to slaughter all the inhabitants whether they stand against them or not it is just evils way. So I don't think by giving them any type of training we are leading them to their deaths. I think if we don't try to help them we are committing them to death without a fighting chance.

is what we as a group should probably do I agree We will probably be most effective this way. So we need to as Siliwen has asked here to get as much information as we can about the foes we are going to be facing here. Once we know a little more I think we need Anya to then give us as much information as she can about the people in this village as well as any other neighboring villages. I am hoping she may at least know who in these villages if any may have strong leadership skills and may be willing to work with some outsiders, but more about these ideas when needed. I will tell everything I have in mind after we learn more about these vile enemies we are going to face. Turning back to face
their host he speaks to Anya.Your information so far has been greatly appreciated and I am sorry to have interrupted, but if you could now continue and answer Siliwen questions, and then maybe perhaps you could lets us know if there is anyone in Northpoint you feel may have an understanding as well as an appreciation for the danger that their village as well as all the other surrounding villages may be in, and maybe also have at least a slight feel for the mechanics of defending oneself.
He finally ends his long winded speech and returns to his stool to listen intently to all Anya has to say.

Subject: We Meet the Healer.
Once in the clearing and just outside the healers door Siliwen takes over as Thor has asked, "Wise One, we need your help. Our friend was poison by a Nas’ir’s kick. We know not what to do for him. He must survive, it so crucial to our mission. By the powers that bind us, all I say is true and time is of the essence."
A few long seconds after siliwen speaks the door opens and an elderly human woman emerges .“Well..” “..Wise one eh?” “You must not be from around here I take it.” “Nas’ir you say?” Reaching out she touchs Riddle doing a quick examination of his condition.“Bring him inside and I can help him.”
Once inside they all do as told and Thor stands aside with Billy while the three women do what must be done to save Riddle.The old lady has them administer some potion which causes Riddle to convulse at once but not for long, and his body finally loses the ridgidness and he seems to fall into a restfull sleep.
The old healer then says some things that pique there interest “I sensed your arrival in the area and was hoping you would find cause to visit me.” She pulls out some stools for them to sit upon and as they are getting comfortable Siliwen is the first to speak. Introducing them all firstOh, I am sorry. My names is Siliwen, may companions are Alera, here,"
"Thor, is the Dwarf, Billy is then big one and our wounded campions is Riddle. By what name do you go by? Then once settled on their stools she continues."You invitation to rest is most apprecciated but we really need to learn more about where this is, who is the Msster , What are the Na'sir and if anything why are we here in this place?" Now finished searching the dead for any good arrows and such when Vetta approachs him and offers to him any arrows she found that have his markings on them he will politely do the same if he has found any of hers.
Then haveing moved to be with the rest of the party that is where he was when the group of goblins being chased by the riders comes crashing back onto the field they are quickly dispatched and one of the riders a lady wearing fine Dwarven made halfplate and chain rides up to their group and speaks getting right to the point"What happened here?"The first to answer was Highnar in his usual also get right to the point and who are you to ask attitude.Can ya not see what it be looking like lass, it be a battlefield of course and we be the victor’s. Now who ye be and what is your purpose other then cleaning up our leftovers.”.....

Xuor is just over there and Cerric is the one who is mounted. These are the rest of us. We were coming to help the elves battle the Orc army, but we side tracked some to lessen the numbers."We sidetracked more than we bargained for, but it ws a good fight while it lasted.
"If you could direct us to the place where the battle is going on we are ready to lend our sword arms and other abilities to aid in the battle.
At this point Brianna calls her mount Shawdowbane along with Flame to come over and she tends to them.Since it finally looks like they are readying themselves to pull out Xour will do the same.Calling both his war horse Mottley and Daug his wolf over he prepares to ride out.Rubbing Mottley down quickly he will also get out his brush and and brush out Mottley's mane to remove anything caught there.Once finished he will mount up, and once mounted on Mottley he makes sure his bow is stowed securly on his back and he pulls his Greatsword and stows it in the sheath that makes it accessable to his right hand when he is mounted on his horse, and he wait for the word exchange between Brianna and the newcomer to end and for Brianna to lead them to their next battle.

Subject: search Continues.
Upon seeing that the table room is clear except for a discarded chicken bone Delkin moves through it and proceeds with his search of the passage from which they heard murmurs
As soon as he enters the new passage he will hug the wall that is closest to the bend in the tunnel
See map of course the D is me Delkin.
at this point he will lying flat and against the wall peek around the corner and take note of whatever it is he sees.Once he knows what is around the bend he will proceed.
While moving and scouting Delkin will be using the following skills at all times so adjust time and such as needed.
Move Silently
Hide
and then these skills as needed
Listen
Search
Spot
OOC: Of course in the orignal post it does not say which way the passage bent the map is just a representation so you could see what I ment about hugging wall closest to bend.If bend went other way I would be on other side.

Subject: A New passage.
with all of the new group packed into the one hall the lone Goblin does not see us and leaves.Once enough time has passed and she thinks it safe to speak Iliana says "Obviously this is not not a way out."I would now suggest that we try the passage where we heard the few goblins speaking. Perhaps they are a watch set to protect the entrance way. That, or we have to try other passages. What I need is someone skilled in sneaking about to go take a look and report back to us. Anyone with that ability please step up.
Upon hearing her request Delkin at once moves forward to speak with Iliana Good lady I am your man.You said you would like me to check out the tunnel from which we heard the goblins talking.This I shall do and return as quick as my little legs can and still stay hidden and safe.
Leaving this tunnel he will first look back out into the room where the table is to be sure that area is again empty and safe to pass through.If all is clear Delkin will make his way through the table room and to the junction where he can go stright ahead and round a corner, following the sound of murmuring voices.

Subject: Witch Doctor
When Billy falters at the edge of the woods not wanting to go any farther Thor can understand his being uncomfortable with magic and those that use it but he is surprised to find his feelings are so strong that he won't continue. From the way he is dressed and from his actions Thor is pretty sure he is from some Barbarian tribe from their home world, and perhaps Thor is mistaken but he though most tribes had at the least Shaman who did healings and such. thor will approach Billy and speak with him.
I understand your feelings of unease with those who use magic, for I am not entirely at ease myself, but let me ask you does your tribe not have Shaman or healers that use their powers to help those in the tribe who need help.This woman would be no more than that. Along with the fact that she lives so close to the village even though the people seem uneasy I don't believe there to be any danger. However if you feel strongly about not proceeding I will take Riddle from here and proceed with the two ladies. {[IF Billy decides not to proceed Thor will take Riddle and then proceed as in previous post up to the cottage and then ask who should call out.])OR ([IF Billy decides to proceed then go right to previous post at cottage waiting to call out.])

Subject: Dead End!
When Dalkin looks back down the corridor from where he came to see if anything was going on he was surprised to see a lot of movement and it looks like others are going to be coming down the passage to where he is.Not knowing why they would be coming this way he goes back around the corner and starts to head back up the corridor where he came from to let them know there is no way out down here.

Subject: Tunnels End.
Delkin makes his way down the tunnel to find it is truly just a dead end. however where the tunnel bends at the very end it hides a small pool of water and at the bottom of the pool lies about seven silver coins. Now Delkin would love to put those coins into his own pocket, but doesn't want to end up in some type of trap either because of being greedy.
He will first stick his head out from around the bend and look back down the tunnel towards where the table is to see if he can tell if anything else is going on back there since he left. If all looks to still be calm he will examine the pool more closely to make a decision if he is going in or not.

Subject: Visit to a Witch Doctor.

Bic:When the bar keep calls out his wife and tells her that he is going to be taking us to see someone he calls old woman. The group knows at once they will be leaving to get help for Riddle at that point all thought of anything else is gone except getting help for their new friend.
He hurries them past the building and up a small trail through the grass, a trail that angles away from town and towards a corpse of twisted trees several hundred feet from town. They notice that none of the farmhouse around the town are close to these trees and the plowed farmlands go around this area as well. He is rushing so fast that none of them have a chance to ask him anything before they reach these trees. He stops short of them and stands their looking silently. When the group reach him they see the trees are tightly packed together, almost as if they are growing out of one another. Their branches all intertwined, their roots mingling, they cant at first see a way through it.
Now the bar keep speaks “Through their you will find the old woman… she has a cure for the Nas’ir venom… she has helped others here before.” “Be warned… she is strange and she has magic… many here call her a witch.. But she helps many and harms no one who doesn’t deserve it.” Then pointing to a spot just beyond the trees, “You will find a trail just there.. Follow it to her cabin.” “Speak before you enter though.. Otherwise she might be in a foul mood.” He grins and turns to leave them adding “Come back to the pony when you are done.”
So following the trail pointed out to them they wind their way through the twisted trees where they come upon a clearing where the sun is shinning down showing a small cabin surrounded by growing plants. As the party makes their way into the clearing and towards the cabin Thor being a Dwarf can't help but feel a little nervous as most Dwarves are a little suspicious of magic.Speaking in a hushed voice to the two ladies Would you like me to call out for the lady, or do you think a less gruff voice would be better? As they stand now basically at the cabins front door he waits for an answer.

So once it is determined that there is no real escape possible through the fixed iron grate Delkin has found the group make their way back once again to the center room with the table. Iliana it seems may be taking charge speaks quitly "that is not an option at this time. We need to try anouth way to get out. and find tunnels we have not yet been down. Move quitely tot he last juncture and we will try a different firection." "Anybody see another way that might be a possible exit route."

At this junction you can go stright ahead and round a corner, following the sound of murmuring voices. You can turn right towards what looks like a dead end. Or go left in a tunnel that carries on for 30ft then curves but has two other passages leading off.

Delkin says to Iliana, I will make a quick check down this right passage here it looks to be a dead end but as we can tell not everything is at it looks.
Moving off down the right passage Delkins uses his skills to the best of his abilities and will advance till he either reaches an end for the tunnel or a side passage or a door or anything that is obvious and might be of interest. He will if he reaches the end of the tunnel do a search and spot check looking for any concelled or secret doors either in the walls, floor, or ceiling. He will be using all his skills as he moves (ie: move silent, search, spot,)

Removed post If bar keep had answered us that we had to leave at once to take Riddle somewhere else Would not have assummed we had to wait here for someone to come only wanted to make everyone comfortable while we waited.If you read my posts you will normally find an if-then wrote in if this happens then this is what I do if not that can be ignored and the other option is done. I do admitt I get ahead sometimes but that is why I post in that form If the bar keep did this then I did that if not I do this. sorry if it's confusing or hard to distinguish what I mean.Will attempt to keep my posts along with the others and not get ahead.
