Subject: Not a Door.
So it was decided they where going to go look at the grate while a couple stayed back and kept an eye on the goblins and made sure they don't find out we are out. However when I lead those who are coming to the grate Delkin feels kind of stupid, I'm sorry I guess in the excitment of seeing the daylight I did not realize this was just a grate and not some kind of door.How can we possably get this open?
Delkin will do a search and a spot check on the grate itself looking for any spots that may be weak as well as all around where it is embeded into the rock searching for any weakness in the thing at all.

Subject: Lets leave now.
After returning to the group and reporting that only one steel grate lies between them an d freedom out of the cave, the one calling himself Silithus speaks up, Quote:"The way i see it is that we can search around here looking for our stuff or leave our equipment but keep our lives. I would prefer the latter, shall we vote? All those in favour of leaving the equipment raise a hand."
For Delkin there is no question for him having no real equipment to start with getting out of here is his primary objective he raises his hand at once.

Topic: Home Grown
Subject: We need to Move.
As he waits in the center room with the table Delkin listens to the Bard sing his new song he always wished he had some kind of talent like that, but his talents lie in other areas, and since no one seemed to be taking charge right away he decides to make a quick check of the left tunnel.(Quote The left tunnel carries on for about 30ft then curves round but has two other passages leading off.) He follows the left tunnel down it's 30 ft length coming to the curve and to the two passages that lead off from it.
As he moves down the tunnel to the point where he can try to look down the other passages ways he has been using his following skills. Move Silent, Hide, and he continues to Listen. Once at the point where the passage splits he is pressed back against the tunnel walls using any shadows he sees. He will sit very briefly and leaning forward just enough to train his hearing down the first passage he will listen ,then lying flat to the ground he inches forward just enough to peer around the corner and down the passage. The halfling will continue in this fashion until he has listened and looked down both passages. At which point he will return to the two ladies and report whatever he can about what he has either heard or seen.

Subject: Words for a friend.
As Xour searched around among the dead Orcs and Goblins he watched as the others made their way out into the field. he joined up with Logan, Lorea, Highnar, and Brianna as they seemed to be concentrating their search in one particular area. As he approached he heard Highnar speaking to Brianna about the battle.Aye lass a fine battle indeed but not the best for me, now there was tis time in the halls of me father when a passel of them Dark Elves did com a calling. My we showed them how good we be at crafting steel as we cut them down with it ahhh me younger days for sure lass.” Xour strolls over to his friend and slapping the dwarf on the back smiles at him, What's the matter my old friend, a little battle like this isn't going to knock the wind out of the dwarf I watched slay many a deadly foe. So out with it my friend what's bugging you lately?

Subject: First look at Northpoint
Ben the driver of the wagon tells Thor a little about the upcoming town but seems apprehensive, so Thor doesn't stay up front and moves to the back. After speaking briefly with the others he concentrates on trying to remember as much of the layout of the land as possible. However Thor doesn’t find many land marks along the way, only a few wooded areas and some rock outcroppings of which to take notice; mostly just open plains of grass.
Finally they crest a small rise and the town of Northpoint comes into view and it is a small one consisting of only 6 buildings, but it does seem to have the estenicels. The strange group brings stares from anyone on the street as they pass but now they must find help for Riddle. Ben pulls up in front of the only inn in town.Ben yells to the horse hauling on the reins, once stopped he turns to the group, “This here is ‘The Carousing Pony’ the Best Inn in town, well the only inn in town,” “You can get lodging here and ask the Inn keeper, his name is Tyr Svetorf, about help for your friend, tell him what happened and then mention that I brought you in,” “Best hurry, no telling how much time he has left.”
With that Thor jumps off his horse and quickly ties it to whatever there is and going around the wagon he grabs Riddle out of the wagon and follows the rest into the tavern.When they walk inside ‘The Carousing Pony” they see a typical common room for a Tavern with about 5 round tables and a bar that will seat about 8 patrons. Inside they see only three patrons at the moment all at the bar. Thor will take Riddle to one of the tables and lie him as best as he can across the thing. Then he follows Billy as he approaches the human bar keep and speaks to him.Hello. We are looking for help for our friend. He was injured by one of those horse-man things. Seems to be all stiff from poison. Ben brought us here and said maybe you could help." Thor decides to back up Billy's statements and add a couple of his own. He figures that humans here are most likely the same as where they are from and love the sound of money. Yes sir those strange beasts just attacked us out of nowhere. Our friend was grievously injured when the man called Ben Alscok came along with his wagon and offered help. As my friend here has said he told us we might find help for him here or you would know where we may find help, and of course we are more than able to pay for any services we may require.

Subject: A trip inyo town
When the wagon stops and it can be seen the driver looks to be a farmer of sorts Thor relaxes and he puts his weapons away.
When he is stop Alea approaches him and asks "Good sir, would you know of the poison of these beasts and how to counteract it?" The man shakes his head “I am sorry but I don’t know anything about poisons but there is one in the town that might be able to help.”After that he introduces himself.“My name is Ben Alscok and I was on my way to Northpoint and would be glad to take your wounded friend in my wagon.”
Since they really have no other choice they take the man up on his offer.Thor along with billy carry Riddle to the wagon and lie his body in the back while Siliwen continues to take care of him.Since she will be riding in the wagon Thor will go and retrieve her horse and then rig it up to the back of the wagon so it will follow them.
Once it seems all are ready he will go to his own horse "Lighting" and taking his time he will talk to and in his own fashion reassure his mount that things are alright.He will rub the war horse along his neck and speak softly into the stallions ear.As he is doing this he takes the time to make a quick check of all his items and it does seem that whatever brought them here was thourgh for all his equipment seemed to be here and intact.
Mounting his horse he rides up to the man and his wagon.
Well met stranger my name is Thordinal oldest born son in clan Ironfists.We are indebted for your kindness and offer of help.The first ones we met here where not so friendly.So as they pull out he will allow his mount to walk by the side of the wagon so he may continue to chat with the driver.
So good sir this town you called Northpoint could you maybe tell us a little more about it.Such as what type of shops we may find, if there are any inns or places where we may take lodging?
Finished speaking to the driver Thor will slow his horse down and drop back to ride near the back where he may speak with Alea and Siliwen in the back of the wagon.( a quick description of a dwarf's beard As he rides along his short dark brown hair is curled on his head but his other more obvious hair his beard is long down to about where his belly button would be.The thick dark hair is twisted into three braids each braided quite tight.There are both metal and gemstone decorations in his beard.The bottom of each braid is held by a brightly polished gold ring.At the very top of each braid closest to his chin is another larger polished gold ring.Then directly in the middle of each braid there is a gem stone a different one for each braid.Middle one is a sapphire, left a emerald, right a ruby.Each stone is large enough for a skilled dwarven jeweler to have cut out the middle of the gem so he could run the braids through the gem.They are all highly polished and will be reflecting any sunlight) Now that we have a brief moment to relax it might be a good idea for us to get to know each other a little better and maybe learn a little about each of our skills, since it looks like we may be doing some fighting together. I can actually do more than distract a foe by sitting on my rump Thor chuckles at his own embarrassment, flashing a smile at the two ladies.I think it is obvious that I do most of my fighting toe to toe and up close and from what I saw I think Billy does also.Maybe you both could give us at least a little idea of what you feel your best fighting skills are, if I am not being to forward, and if I am please forgive a gruff dwarf.From that point on Thor rides in silence waiting to see if any of his questions are answered.
As they make their way to the town of Northpoint Thor will make a mental map to the best of his ability of any other roads,or trails he sees that cross or split from the one they are on, he will also note any landmarks that he can such as rock outcrops, thick woods off in the distance, ponds, rivers, you get the idea.

Subject: Happining fast
Dalkins can't believe that the goblins don't come into where they are with all the racket that the two are making, they must be even dumber than he thought they where. Anyways after much racket one goblin finally comes in only to be promptly killed by the barbarian and centaur. With a key they get they let the rest of us out of our cells. Dalkin thanks the two for letting him out and then starts to look for anything he can use as a weapon. As the others seem to be moving around in some confusion since Dalkin can't seem to find any weapons he will find and carry as many good size throwing rocks as he can handle.He was always good at throwing since he was young child.
Whatever cloth or leather is left on the goblin he will attempt to make a crude pouch to carry as many rocks as he can. He waits in the wings sort of waiting to see which group would take charge and when clearer heads prevail and they deceide not to charge into a room full of goblins and Orcs he makes his way forward to where the elf who seems to be a warrior type is taking the lead and the one who called herself Ilianna My name is Dalkin, miss Ilianna Then he turns to the elf who had fashioned the sling Nice work there on that sling. Listen it looks to me that the two of you are the most level headed one here if you would like for someone to scout out any of these passages before we blunder down them that is what I do. I would love to punish these goblins just as much as the next one but right now I think we need to find our way out then when we have weapons and such we could do more. He will wait at the junction where the table is to see if they want him to do any scouting.

Subject: First Awakening
Dalkin awakens feeling stiff, sore, and cold as he streachs he realizes he is no longer where he was when he went to sleep. He is now lying on a cold stone floor. He is somewhat disorientated at first. He rolls over onto one side and he can see he is lying on the floor in a cave but he is imprisoned for there are bars across the only opening he can see. Since he doesn't see anyone around at first he will lie as still as he can and he will listen to whatever noise he can hear around him. At first all it seems he can hear is breathing of others somewhere around him so he is not alone. After a spell he hears some shuffling foot steps coming towards where he is lying. Then from around a corner the light from a lantern appears and the lantern is being held by of all creatures a Goblin, bloody, stinking, Goblin. As the light comes closer to his area he takes advantage of the light, even though he has dark vision the light will give him more detail. So he looks at where he is and sees that he is imprisoned in a cell dug into solid rock and a door made out of rusty, but still strong, iron secured by a single padlock. The Goblin then returns from whence it came around the corner.
After the Goblin leaves Dalkin continues to just lie on his back and listen he can hear some others breathing. He then hears one of the other prisoners speak out Ello ... Ello! Anyone else be awake in this good fer nothin' hole? at this time Dal ( as his friends call him)
does not answer him he is just trying to decipher from what he can hear how many others there are here
with him and where they may be at.
He lays quietly for what he conceives to be a short while and he believes that there are at least three others besides himself though there may be many more just too far away for him to hear anything at all from. Then a Goblin returns with a wheelbarrow containing plates of food. dalkin tries to listen as the ugly thing places the dishes down onto the cave floor and besides his own he thinks he counts four other dings as the plates are put down. The Goblin is amused by placing the food just out of reach and goes off laughing. Once he is out of sight Dal will attempt to retrieve his food bowl using his clothing.
He will remove his cloths and tying one sleeve of his shirt to one of his pant legs will attempt to throw them either out and around the food or over the bowl and work the bowl within his reach. If he can and get the bowl into cell with him if possible.
All of the time that he is spending in the cell he will make some time to search every small spot , crevice, indent, crack, hole looking for anything at all loose stone, rock, objects left behind by previous occupants.

Subject: New Visitor.
From their examination of the curved hook that the Nas'ir have it is found to be hollow and to emit some kind of dark liquid that they can only assume is some type of poison. From their carfull examination of Riddle it seems that the ranger is not dead but is incapacitated, and for how long is any ones guess.
So now they will need to travel but with one of them unable to ride or even sit atop his horse this was going to be somewhat more diffulcult. Thor Goes over to his war horse which he had named Lighting and begin to check the stallion over in preparations for them to pull out when Billy announces that there is someone else coming up the path towards them. “Great” he thinks to himself “now what”
This time he will be more prepared, he moves up to the top of the hill where the path ends and taking a broad stance pulls both of his weapons his war ax in his right hand and his morning star in his left.
He watches as a wagon pulled by two horses and driven by what looks like a simple farmer. The man in the wagon pulls up and survays the area. Looking at the characters and the carnage around them he speaks “By the gods!” “Are you alright?” He waits in place as Alea speaks to the man in the wagon.

Subject: Poison
As he is checking out the dead Nas'ir beast Billy also does and he seems to be interested in the hook claw on the back of the creature's hoof.Thor examines it closly trying to tell if it is hollow so it could inject poison or maybe they just tip them before they go out into battle.He will pull a cloth out of one of his pouchs and wipe off the back claws of the fallen Nas'ir.He will then see if he can discern anything about what if anything he manages to collect.
he will then offer the cloth to anyone who thinks they may be able to check it out and find a way to help Riddle.

Subject: One Battle Over btu is there more coming?
As he shot off what looked like it would be his last arrows in this battle he carefully scans the battlefield for any hiding Orcs or Goblins that might be lying in wait for some dramatic sneak attack, but if all looks and feels right Xour will dismount from his perch in the branches and once with his feet firmly planted on the ground he will also move among the fallen and dead creatures upon the field and try to recover any arrows he might be able to.
He will also keep his eyes peeled for any other hidden stuff as he searches the body's he is removing arrows from. As he is doing this he will be making his way across the field to where Lorae ,Logan, and Highnar and Brianna might have all congregated.
He knows that even though this battle went well for they sent these beasts scurrying without accruing to much damage to their group, they still have a much bigger battle coming up when they go to the defense of the city. Once he is close enough to the rest of the group, “So where is our next battle with these hated enemies to be?

Subject: Battles over time to go.
Thor almost felt cheated when his foe turned and fled, humh figures most big talkers are cowards at heart. He watches as Billy finishes off the one creature that was left behind, and then asks Siliwin for help with his wounds. He puts his morningstar away but keeps his ax out moving forward to join with the rest of the group.
He is in agreement with Siliwin when she says"I do think we need to get out of here aas soon as we can."
I do second that idea. Seems that our arrival on this hilltop did not go unnoticed at least by some. We should put distance between this place and ourselves.
As he is speaking he is watching the rest for any signs that they agree or not with him when the ranger Riddle starts to step forward and suddenly pitches forward onto his face. Thor running forwards kneels down at his side and reaches for him. What sort of sorcery is this he is stiff and rigid like stone. Did anyone hear the leader casting any more spells before he ran off?
He takes his time and looking Riddle over for any signs of injury the only thing he can find is a small wound on one of his legs. Did anyone see him get this wound, it's fairly low for a sword strike and looks kind of jagged. Does anyone else feel funny in anyway?
Leaving Riddle's body he gets up and goes over to the beast he had struck last the one he nudged Siliwin away from and starts to look it over looking for how Riddle might have been injured.

Subject: On his Back Again
Having pivoted around using the remains of his broken weapon as a pivot point Thor had managed to fling his throwing ax at the leader but it barley seemed to bother him as it hit. The leader then speaking in a language he did not understand suddenly raised up on it's back hooves, Thor was expecting it to charge but instead it stamped it's front hooves down hard on the ground causing the ground to rumble and move outward in a wave rising and falling almost like a wave on the sea. Thor who had still not fully gain his feet and proper balance found himself once again in the air and down on the ground upon his back. this time he hit even harder and felt the air forceably leave his chest.
This is starting to get embarrassing for the wide stance stocky muscular Dwarf is not used to finding himself on his backside. However being as stoic as he always is he keeps his temper in check and goes about what he needs to do to prepare for whatever is next. It seems since his adversary was spent for the moment after casting it's spell Thor decides to take a defensive position. Casting his broken Urgrosh aside he pulls his other two weapons out his war ax in his right hand and his morning star in his left. Facing the nas'ir leader squarely he plants his feet firmly on the ground, and then bellows out his dwarven war cry in which he asks his dwarven gods for the strength to vanquish his foe. gods of Valhalla your servant Thor calls to you, may your strength be my strength and may you guide my hand in vanquishing this foe who spreads evil upon this land. and he finishes with a loud roar R*R#G#G*H#H*H#H*H#H*H

As Thor is going through the motions of his counter attack at the Nai’sr leader he hears Billy's taunt towards the one he is fighting against. Another pass or have you tasted enough of my steel? Thor likes the kids style, and he yells encouragement over to Billy
Nice move Billy keep the ugly anvil head guessing you'll mow em down big guy!

Subject: Shooting Continues.
OOC: sorry but for some reason I have not received the newest battle map so I'm not sure of my targets.
BIC: As Xour watches the Orc leader goes down from Vatta's attack and then from Shadowbane stomping him.So in his last attack he targets Orc #2. Now woth the field kind of in disarry he will continue to target the Orcs that are closest to Logan and Lorae and look like they may still be a threat to them.
Braceing himself in his tree the ranger continues to do what he does best and that is rain down death upon his enemies.
He picks his target and as always follows his proceedure for firing at them.Once he has finished firing he hears Vatta yell out her bluff about reinforcements arriving so he deceides to play along. Oh yes I can see them from my vantage those still in the field are as good as dead.

Subject: Quick-Strong-but still Ugly
As Thor prepared for the four legged beasts to attack for he is sure they will his words bring back only more threats from what appears to be the leader of these creatures.“You dare to speak to me you lowly whelp?” “I who am Nai’sr!” “We who drove your miserable people deep into the mountains where they cower in fear of our name.” “We shall add your name to the great list of those who have died at the hands of the Nai’sr!” With this last statement the creatures where in a full gallop towards the party, who had spread out and prepared for this attack. Well at least they now had a name for the creatures who they faced the Nai’sr.
The beast crossed the 50 yards in a split second and actually caught Thor slightly off guard the creatures weapons knocking his Urgosh aside with such a blow that the shaft of his weapon shattered sending the spear point sailing off, and because he was pulling on the weapon to try to position it correctly to impale the creature the sudden disintegration of the shaft put Thor off balance and he stumbled backwards and fell onto his backside. As disgraceful as this may look to those around him this fall actually saves the Dwarf from taking some serious damage, for this unexpected backward move also put the Nai’sr off his next attack and his two swords from his right hands both swing harmlessly over the dwarf who is now on his backside. The Nai’sr roared as he passed by because he misses his target so Thor using his deepest voice he can answers the Nai’sr leader with a roar of his own he wants to keep this creature angry for he knows someone fighting angry is more apt to make a mistake.
The Nai’sr leader stops about 15 ft past where Thor is. Looking back at his opponent Thor still has the axe part of his now broken weapon in his hands. He must make a decision and he must make it quick. Use what he has in his hands or try to buy the time to draw his other weapons. Holding the shaft of the ax in his left hand thus keeping his right hand free. With his right hand he reaches to the strap around his right thigh that has the holder he keeps his throwing ax dangling in. Thus bracing himself with his left hand holding the ax head and shaft and now with his throwing ax in his right hand he will pivot slightly around the ax head that is still in the ground giving himself a better angle towards his opponent, and as he takes this action he use his body momentum to hurl his hand ax into the Nai’sr leader and then continue his motion so as to end up standing and facing his enemy, with the broken ax in his hands as his weapon at least for now.

Subject: A Welcomeing Party?
After he spoke to the group about eating and then picking a course of action the one named Siliwen
Speaks her mind as to what we should do next."I have been thinking about a few things this morning. I don't believe we are going to get any more mysterious "help" than we all ready have received. Perhaps it is to test us to see if we can figure this out, learn to work together to our best advantage because without that accomplished we have been told we will fail. Perhaps other groups have been brought here before us perhaps they have failed—however, that is conjecture for now."
"This place is nowhere we were meant to stay, that I am sure of. We have only that faint trail that leads somewhere. What direction we go really make no difference right now. I believe we should take stock of our own skills, and supplies. Then we should ride out of here down into the grasslands and to that trail. Toss a coin, whatever we want to do to choose and direction and ride that way. A trail leads to somewhere and eventually we will get their. In the meantime we can work on becoming a team. Accomplishing this mech may be part of a test on whether we can achieve what this entity desires us to do.
When she is finished speaking Thor aggrees with her. Yes fair elf I to think we must move forward and must learn to work as one and you are correct when you say a trail must lead somewhere and if we follow we will arrive .
As they are speaking the ranger points out that there is a dust trail moving up the trail and in our direction.Could this be the one who broubht them here or could this be a problem.Not wanting to be caught unprepared in any way Thor at once brings out both his weapons swinging his great war ax in his right hand and and in his left his morning star.As he watches four very strange creatures ride up and stop about 50 yards to their front just the look of them makes Thor feel they are not there as a welcomeing party.Seeing what type of creatures they may be facing he quickly changes his mind as to weapon choice and at once brings out his Urgrosh.Watching to see where the others place themselves and what their actions might be.The one elven lass looked like she was deep in concentration and Thor knows that often is what a mage will do before casting a spell.As she seems to be positioning herself to bring all in the group closer to her Thor hears the one beast speak out.“These are the ones the Master fears?” “Surely they are no threat to him they are so puny.”
It is now obvious they are not here under any pretense to be friendy they are here to attack and hurt us.
Thor moves forward to put himself in front of the elf who he believes is a mage for he knows from other battles they can be a great help but often times need to be protected from direct conflict up close.
He also notices that Billy has taken a defensive stance with his great sword out and ready.As he positions himself for the coming battle he replies to the one beasts words.At first trying to feel him out and see if he can gain any information from thr strange creature, and as he speaks he will casually place the ax portion of his weapon down against the ground holding the spear point out in front pointing up about 45 degrees.Fear us why should your master fear us we are mearly a group of travelers who have camped on this grassy knoll for the night, but I say to you that if you have come here to do us harm than you and your master will have something to fear for we will not stand idle and when all is done we will walk down this hill while your blood and flesh feeds the carrion feeders of this world.So he waits feet planted firmly weapon planted firmly to take on a charge by these strange creatures.

Subject: New Day What Next !
Thor accepted the food that Billy offered, and continued to listen as the others talked.
They talked about keeping watch and getting some sleep but Thor knew he would not sleep this night.
After awhile they all came to the same conclusion.So Thor goes over to his horse to see if
all his gear was sent that he usually keeps with his horse, and yes it was there.He takes the
large skin that he has filled with his favorite Dwarven ale and returns to the fire.After opening
the skin and taking a long pull of the ale he will offer it around to his new friends.
This here often helps me think when I need to and you can't beat the nice fuzzy feeling it can give you.
He will pass the ale to however ask for it.The rest of the night is spent in speculation by the
group about what has happened to them.According to one of the elven woman they where not even on
their own world anymore.This idea had never crossed Thor's mind but was acctually sort of intriguing.
From everyone of the party he had meet so far he felt most could handle what had so far happened
to them, however he was somewhat concerned about the Barbarian Billy who seemed to have a more
simplfied view of his world, but Thor deceided he would do what he could to help the big fellow.
So as the night progressed and they sat around and wondered outload about who or what had brought
them there he stayed with Billy offering him his ale and getting him to talk about his home.
Say Billy I would not worry about the magic that brought us here.Why don't you tell me a little
about your home and maybe how you came to own that mighy sword you are sharping there.?

out."Well my merry group we have sat through the night and now we have light.
We know no more now than when we first awoke on this new land.From what we can see there is nothing in any direction
except for a faint wagon trail.Now we could just wait here till we are contacted by who or what brought us here
or we can head out and start to make our own way.If we are to be contacted by who brought us here
I don't think us moving from here will prevent us from being located.I think we all agree there power is
very great.So I say we eat then gather togeather and pick a course of action.

Thor continued to stand at the fire waiting to see if any of the others would join him and break the ice. At first no one moved then the largest of the group ( I hope I got this right Billy is the barbarian) the barbarian made his way forward to the fire, dropping down on one knee so Thor could see he puts his right hand out and speaks "Looks like they are the same." he says. Then he continues"My name is Billy. I remember havign a dream much like the one the young lady described though I am certain the voice was in common not elvish. Either that or I can understand evlish in my dreams." Then the large mans stomach growls.
Thor can't contain himself when the large mans stomach growls, he breaks out in a heary chuckle. You and me both Billy I wouldn't mind a little chow right now myself along with a good slug of some fine Dwarven ale.He looks around and can see that not only was he transported here but it seemed that all his gear was also here and he could see that his heavy war horse with everything he carried on him was also here. Once again he turns to the rest of them and speaks.
Look I know we are all a little in shock right now, for we all laid down to sleep somewhere not here and now we awake to find we have been somehow transported away from where we where,and not only us but all our gear and from what I can see also our horses and riding gear. Then to top that off we have all been marked somehow with this emblem on our right hands. Now I am not one to be real trusting of magic but I would have to think that who or what ever did this must be very powerfull in the use of magic, so if it wanted to harm us I think that would have been very easy. So I truly think we must come togeather maby each one tell who they are maybe where it is they where before this and maybe we can get some idea of what has happened to us, or maybe while we are talking our host will show themselves and tell us what is going on.

Subject: An Intoduction A Chuckle and some Show and Tell.
Thordinal awakes from what at first seemed as a dream, but as he looked around he at once realized that there was more at work here than just a dream, for he was not at the spot where he laid his head for sleep. His first order of business was to be sure that no one here posed a threat, and he gripped his weapons tightly as he took in each of the others who now all stood around the fire with him. To him non of them seemed to be a threat even the huge Barbarian standing near him.
Then one of the two female elves spoke up.”“Hello my name is Siliwen. I do not know what has happened only that it has. I know what I experienced but I do not know what any of you experienced. I went to sleep in the woods near a small town called Mayberry Dale. Then I dreamed or thought I dreamed of flying in the clouds with others near me. To me the voice spoke in High Elven, a fatherly voice telling me that I was to be part of an adventuring group and we were to face great evil in a far land. Most of what the elf said was pretty much the same for Thordinal, the flying through the clouds, the fatherly voice speaking of a great evil, a adventuring party of strangers, travel to a far of land, all this sounded the same then he remembered something that would probably be of great importance and possible put all of them here at ease at least for a start. The voice he heard spoke these words to him ““Upon the back of your right hand you will bear a mark,” “tbis mark will be bore only by those of your group. Trust no one who does not bear this mark.”
As he remembers this he steps forward and speaks to the group in his rather gruff heavily accented obviously dwarven voice.
This elven lass probally has the right idea for she speaks as if we have traveled here together, for my memories of getting here are very much the same as hers.So my name is Thordinal or just Thor for short He can't help but chuckle just a bit even in their situation at his own little pun for as he looks at the others around him they are all quite a bit taller than he is.However I do recall something else this fatherly voice said as I flew through the clouds. Each one of us that has been somehow chosen for this battle against evil would bear a mark on the back of their right hand, so I suggest to put ourselves at ease at least with each other that we each show our right hand and this mark. We will then at least know we all have been chosen, for what and by whom I know not, but we can work on that once we are not standing around wary of each other.
So he slips his war ax into it's place on his hip and strolls up to the camp fire for better light he then holds his hand out in the light of the fire so all can see the mark on his hand a wide circle with four arrows coming from it, one pointed in each direction of the compass. He will stand and wait to see if any of the others will follow suit.

As he always does Xour is paying close attention to the action that is going on around him, targeting those he thinks are the most dangerous to the other party members.Then he hers Vatta yelling at him “HEY XUOR!” TAKE OUT THE BIG ONE… THE LEADER!”
Quickly looking around to pinpoint the Orc she was speaking of he is not hard to see not only is he the biggest Orc on the field, but he has about half dozen arrows already sticking out of him.Watching as Vatta once again targets the large Orc.If she takes him down he will go back to what he was doing if not he will then target this one also.With Beauty in his hands he will target the Orc leader and using his visualization release his next volly at this one Orc.

Subject: Lets Open a Hole!
With his spell now complete and a Black Bear now on the field killing Orcs and Goblins at will Xour goes back to his more familiar style of fighting, that is with his bow. Doing his usual scan of the field looking for where his rain of death would best be needed he looks for a way to open a path between the two ground troops of Brianna&Highnar to Lorae&Logan.
Once again calling on his feats as a bowman Xour will use this full round to exucute his feat of Rapid Shot ( which gives him one extra shot per round at highest base attack bonus but each attack made this round takes a -2 penalty. You must take your full attack action; pg99 players handbook 3.5ed. Thanxs Dragonmist)
Seeing that Highnar & Brianna seem to be the most surrounded he will direct his next volly at the Orc O:20(Q,1 that seems to be directly behind Highnar and the next shot at the Goblin G:15 (P,17) trying to open a hole in the Orcs defenses so Hig & Bri can move towards Lo & Lr.
With Beauty in his hands again he once more goes through his pre shooting routine. Even though this seems like it would take many minuits it in reality only takes micro seconds for him to go through this routine. He calls this his visualization routine. With bow in hand he reaches back and pulls one arrow from his quiver notchs it sights his target (O:20-Q,1 down the shaft of the arrow making any adjustments for distance and wind if any. Then just before the release he visualizes the flight of the arrow till it's impact with his target it is at this impact that he acctualy releases his arrow.Then the Elven Ranger picks his next target (G:15-P,17) and goes through this routine again. After the first two arrows are shot he will use the third or bonus shot at the Orc he shot at first if the creature is still standing. If this Orc is down then the last shot goes at the Goblin he just shot at if it is still standing .If by some stroke of luck both targets are down he will target the Goblin at the cornor of the two G:21 (P,1 So once again with Beauty poised and ready and pulls his next arrow notchs it sights the target visulizes the arrows flight and at impact in his minds eye releases the real thing. With all his arrows for the round fired he quickly scans the field locating the black bear and trying ti see what damage if any it was causing.

Subject: Change of Tactic's.
Watching as the battle unfolds beneath him Xour sees two goblins fall as his arrows strike true and deadly.He doesn't like the way the Orcs are starting to gather around both Brianna and Highnar they seem to have drawn the largest crowd with about 7 goblins and 7 Orcs surrounding the pair.
OOC: See Q&A Please.
BIC:As he tries to deceide if he can call Daug in to help Highnar and Brianna on the field he sees that one of the Orcs; is acctually casting spells as he launchs magic missle to strike Highnar.Xour hates Orcs but Orc Adepts are even more hated he will target this one with his next attacks.He scans over the battlefield and can see several Orcs and Goblins are down but the field is just swarming with the damnable creatures and they seem to be splitting up and targeting his individual friends, there are just so many of them.As he watches the number of foes that Highnar and Brianna are fighting continue to increase from around 5 to more than a dozen he makes up his mind that at this time there is a different approach he can take to maybe help them out a little bit so he changes his mind from targeting the Orc Adept to something totally different.
Insteade of reaching back into his quiver for an arrow to notch this time Xour reaches back into his mind and brings forward a jumble of strange words and gestures that he has memorized.He had deceided he is going to cast one of the few spells he has learned to cast as a Ranger.He is granted the use of these limited spells by his deity Ehlonna both god to elves and rangers.He is going to cast his spell Summon Nature's Allies 2 and he wants a wolverine to be the animal that is called.Scanning the field and deceiding he wants to place the animal to appear at the backs of the group that is attacking Brianna and Highnar.
Clearing his mind of all else but for the strange words that make up the verbal portion of the spell he carfully forms each word and then speaks it outloud.

When finished formulatting the words of magic and speaking them he points to where he wants the animal he is calling forth to appear.He will then watch that area to see what if any damage the summoned animal can wreck upon his foes.

Subject: Question on animal companion-- as well as my spells
Once again I have questions about my ranger character.This time about his contact with his animal companion.What type of link do they have can Xour call him in at any time or do they need to be in actual physical presence of each other.The question for this round is this can I call the wolf into combat to go and help Brianna and Highnar by attacking some of their opponents from their flank, or is there no way I can communicate my intentions to my companion.
Please let me know asap so I can finish my post Thanxs once again Dragonmist.
PS:Back when I first joined this game in the thread "need a couple of players" I had made a request to Dragon Mistress to change the spells that Xour was carring or that he prepared for her is that post in its entirity.
