Topic: 4th edition FR Information (not for the feint hearted)
Subject: Still getting advertisements ...

... in the form of pamphlets, flyers, booklets, newsletters, and the like about 4e and how wonderful it is (and will be). I have been stripping them all up and using them to work on (finish?) my paper-maché dragon.

It is 5.5 feet tall, 9 feet long, and is unfinished as yet ...

... and it looks oddly like a crouching rat ... (?)

Topic: What is your Favorite Character Class and Why?
Subject: I must be wierd, but

[[Tcha! I am wierd!]]

I kinda prefer the 2e bard. He sarts off kinda weak, but if you are creative with spell-use and careful in combat, he can be a worthwhile character for any "stable".

And I agree that 2e is the best of the latest. While I don't like all of the 3e and 3.5e changes, I do enjoy playing those versions. But I have most all of the books for 2e and they are still active and in use!

Topic: Audalis: Tides of War Q/A
Subject: Gonna throw this up for DM and/or all others

I wanna make dure I read this right:

Fighter has both Rapid-Shot and Shot-On-The-Run feats.

Rapid-Shot MUST use a full-round attack with only one 5-foot step before, after, or between each attack (which are all at -2. No problem ...)

Shot-On-The-Run allows you to move no more than your full movement increment, with the attack occurring somewhere during travel.

So, based on travel distances, the two are mutually exclusive. I cannot shoot twice while moving my full increment. Correct? Since one specifies only one step of 5 feet and a full-round action ... (?)

It was pre-created about two months ago and I thought I could jsut plug it in ... nope! I missed the 6k gp reference before I submitted him (the character started with [random-rolled] 8300 gp)

Reduced the protection strength to +1 (2000 gp). The balance is in the wind. Also I noticed that I forgot to add the magic (deflection) bonus for the ring, so his AC is actually:

AC:15(Ring Prot +1)[Flatfooted:10 Touch:14]

today never was, always is, and never will be, and
tomorrow never was, never is, but always will be,
at what point does what will be become what was?

We don't. Too many bonker decisions made that way. Even with help, it's an iffy situation. As an example, look no further than the current president (soon may he wave bye-bye). What really happens is our thoughts are projected to others (at random) and we receive others' thoughts (at random), believing them to be our own.

If 1 is the loneliest number and 2 can be as bad as 1, then why is 1 called the loneliest?

The 'soft-and-creamy' stuff is not really caramel. If I told ya what it really was, you would be sick and would know why Space Bats are so reviled for their underhanded and sneaky efforts.

But the how? They freeze little spneres of the stuff and then roll them down chutes and across the top of a vat of melted chocolate. They are scooped up before they sink, allowed to thaw a bit to settle (for the flat bottom) and then packaged for consumption. Note: Caramilks were originally created as medication for sick cows, but they found a more lucrative market ...
