Subject: Read the OOC that Alacrity Wrote in the Game
The cavern itself was guards by a Basilisk and a Behir - but both were slain before the party entered.
Previous to that Alacrity wrote the cave entrance lead to a large cavern with three entrances to the tome, only one was the actual way in, the other death traps.
So I understand it to mean that in the Large Cavern at the Entrance to the Cave were a Basilisk and a Behir, but they are DEAD.
There are 3 Entrances to the Tomb (probably at the back of the Large Cavern that the Continual Light has Not Revealed) that only one leads to the Tomb, while the other two Lead to Death Traps!

Subject: Saving Sheet
I was able to take the original sheet and go to Edit Save As and rename the Sheet.
Filled in part of it and hit 'Command S' after every entry.
Double checked after Ayrn posted his not being able to Save, so I wrote down my notes and then closed the Sheet.
When I reopened it I found Every Note Saved.

Subject: Regarding Kyle
Since his character is paralyzed, perhaps he can be NPCed until we get to Crandel and then he can stay there to rest up or heal up or help defend the town if we move on; which would allow for Kyle to show up at the inn and see that the adventure has been resuscitated and then he can catch up with us if he so chooses ?????

OOC: Finarsil remembers that in the songs and stories of the Tomb of Horror the cave entrance lead to a large cavern with three entrances to the tome, only one was the actual way in, the other death traps. The cavern itself was guards by a Basilisk and a Behir - but both were slain before the party entered.
So according to what Alacrity wrote both the Basilisk and a Behir are DEAD but that does not mean that something more sinister is Not Lurking beyond the Statues.

11th Sempore (Thirkday), 453 E.R.
Woods near the village of Crandel (west of the Indigo river, near the Sendrian border)
Galardil steps up and brandishes his holy symbol of Kith-jora. Boldly, he rebukes the undead abominations, and as one, they turn and flee!
There is only a moment's respite, however, as you realize that several more of the undead creatures are emerging from both sides of the road. While they do move slowly, they will surely flank the party if nothing is done.
Worse still, more insane giggling can be heard from the mist behind the zombies emerging to the party's left...
Galardil had no time to either rejoice or thank his deity as the Shamblers were turned away by the authority the Cleric of Kith-jora wielded with his Dwarven War Club and the Holy Symbol engraved in its 'Sweet Spot' for such uncanny occasions as this!
More Shamblers were emerging from the woods to their left, urged on as if being herded towards the company of heroes by an unnaturally sinister giggling, much like that of the now silenced abomination that lay mute and motionless in the mud on the road.
Then above the sound of the eerie giggling from the woods to their left, the Half Syl heard Rae cry out:
"I'm not strong enough to carry him." Rae noted to the group, having moved closest to their afflicted companion, "We'll need to defend him until he recovers."
En'Aranthea nodded, and called to the group, "Rally 'round Ta"Arms, mellonamin! A defensive circle to keep our foes at bay whilst he recovers his freedom or we best them all!" She whirled her blade in a defensive figure eight around herself as she did so, the blade ringing with fury as it cut the air instead of foes.
She noted Rae's position and made her stand to the maiden's right, leaving enough room for both warriors to move freely. She took note of the others moving into position, and of Jarenion's warning as he cast his spell.
Galardil responded to the instructions of the Bladesinger by taking a defensive position to the far right of the group of warriors. Grasping his Khord War Club with both hands, the Cleric of Kith-jora stood ready to respond to the slowly oncoming newcomers, in any way he deemed necessary!
(((Tactics: Galardil stands ready to unleash his non-weapon proficiency Blind Fighting to utilize his Khord War Club with its Holy Symbol engraved in the 'sweet spot' that faces the approaching otherworldly enemy, ready to dispatch any and all Shamblers he confronts!)))

The knight held Liun'naur aloft, seeking comfort in the flames against the unnatural cold.

As the Heal Spell coursed throughout her body, restoring the Half Elf Bard's vitality to full strength, a flood of old songs and poetic tunes caressed her consciousness, as Finarsil drew near to Arien and spoke aloud for all to hear:
"According to My Remembrance of the Old Songs and Stories
Regarding the Tomb of Horror and the Valiant Glories
Of the Testimonies of the Brave
Who Ventured into the Entrance of the Cave
Tell that it Led to a Large Cavern
The Size of an Inviting Tavern
With Three Entrances to the Tomb
Two of Which Lead to an Untimely Doom
I Do Not Recall Reading or Seeing any Maps
But Two of Them Lead to Horrific Death Traps
Those Who Told the Stories with Great Reflections
All were Not Certain of the Proper Directions
Songs of a Basilisk and a Bahir as Ferocious and Formidable Guards
Reveal the Two Guardians were Slain in This Cavern as Sung by the Bards!"
Finarsil begins playing an ominous tune on her Flute, as she gracefully dances, while studying the features of each of her companions, awaiting their collective response.
((OOC: Finarsil realizes that perhaps even worse guardians now occupy the cavern, but she leaves it up to one or more of her companions to state the obvious!))

Finarsil absorbed the sights and sounds of their surroundings, making mental notes of each of her companions and the damage done to both themselves and their adversaries.
It was important to the High Elf Bard that she commit to memory and hide in her heart every moment that she could possibly absorb, in hopes of putting these images and sounds and smells into poetic song and verse to celebrate their victories among the future masses who would most assuredly assemble to hear of their exploits.
Such poems and songs would convey encouragement in the bleakest of circumstances so that the hearers would find hope in the positives when faced with impending death from the negatives.
Laying her right hand upon her head and her left hand upon her chest, she began invoking a 'Tune of Heal' upon herself, as she continued to absorb into her memories the sights and sounds of her companions renewing their determination to locate Galen and the Triplets and bring them home 'Safe!'

Max is the only other Seriously Wounded character, so does anyone else have a Heal Spell to bring Max back to Full Strength ?????
