Subject: Guns Blazing
Guns were Blazing as Vegas blended a well time 'soft shoe slide' to avoid being a stationary target for the Boosters who were trying to rub him out.
Mere moments had passed, before the Frank Sinatra look-alike strode through the deluge of rain, aiming to collect his order from Starlight, who had seemingly met them alone, without her armed guard.
He had barely tucked the Taser in a safe place, when the warning from Fixer stung his ears in unison with the gunfire from the slowly moving lowrider groundcar.
Vegas returned the fire with his Mach II spitting retaliation, as he tried to determine where Starlight was, intent upon providing cover fire for the woman who had employed them mere hours ago.
(OOC: Vegas will keep firing until the car is out of range and then try to locate Starlight to make sure she is okay)

"Casino My Friend," the Frank Sinatra look-alike spoke directly and to the point, "if I text Starlight to meet us in some back alley, instead of out front where she is expecting us to meet her to pick up your grenades and the taser, then our names will probably be black listed among all of her contacts!
"Then Where Would We Be?
"I am going out that front door, whether you come with me or not, because Starlight will have her own muscle with her!
"Just like Fixer here says, those Boosters are Cowards!
"I am not selling my soul to Campbell to sneak out the back way!
"And the Rat Pack will still be here for us to use as a meeting place in the future!"
Vegas tipped his fedora once more to his long time partner, then gave a 'Thumbs Up' to Fixer, before slowly sauntering his way out the front door to meet Starlight and gather the goods!

Not to mention some Ministry obligations that have been necessary to attend to in the midst of this move

'At Last' sighed Vegas to himself as the following message finally arrived from Starlight:
A digital projection resembling a holographic green HUD flashes up from the bottom right corner of Vegas' eye. The display is for his eyes only, a benefit of the Subvision Viewscreen NuCybe technology implanted in his skull. The display reads, "New message available from The Deep." The Deep is Vegas' codeword for the Dark Net just in case his messaging services is intercepted. A mental command brings up the message.
"I'm out front. Not coming in. You come out." The message is from Starlight.
Vegas approached his companions at the table to inform Casino and Fixer that the wait was finally over.
"Starlight is out front. She says she is not coming in. I have to come out and meet her to receive the goods. The way her message is worded I have no other options."
Vegas tipped his hat to his companions, before heading for the front door to meet Starlight.

Vegas continued to cruise the perimeter of the dance floor, greeting and exchanging conversation with any Rat Packer who was inclined to do so.
Periodically checking his Agent for any updates regarding the delivery from Starlight, the Frank Sinatra look-alike made his way around the ballroom and bar, until he was satisfied that any additional information to be gleaned from the crowd of Rat Packers had been obtained, before casually making his way back towards Casino and Fixer.

Subject: The Clock Is Ticking
Vegas noted that the clock is ticking down towards a confrontation with the Greasers, but it was still imperative that they receive the delivery from Starlight, before proceeding any further.
The Dapper Solo was counting upon his partner Casino to know what to do in this situation, especially since they were stuck in the Rat Pack Night Club on account of Casino ordering Grenades and Vegas ordering the Taser, in addition to Vegas' own way of searching for clues as to the possible whereabouts of the missing boy.
Vegas was also counting on Vesper to do his part, along with the Security at the Rat Pack to do their part to cover their assets in the face of a possible gunfight outside the Club, which probably would not be such good advertisement for the Rat Packers or Club business in the near future.
He looked once again at his Agent, awaiting word from Starlight regarding the delivery of the ordered goods, while continuing to mingle among the Rat Packers, in hopes of someone emerging from the woodwork with information that would help the trio fulfill their contract or give them yet another unknown clue as to what to do before the break of day.

Subject: Relying Upon The Rat Pack Bouncers
Vegas was relying upon the Rat Pack Bouncers to eliminate the threat of the aggressive Greaser who was obviously trying to provoke the Dapper Solo into a violent confrontation.
A broad smile was his first response, followed by both of his arms slowly stretching away from his body in a non-threatening manner, the palms of his hands facing outwards, as his arms slowly rose upwards in the hopes that the Bouncers would understand that Vegas was surrendering to their authority should things get dicey with the mouthy Greaser.
Then the Frank Sinatra look-alike broke his personal silence with a Frank Sinatra tune:

Subject: We Still Need the Taser and Grenades
Vegas was in his element singing and dancing, but his performance was all a part of providing a way to mix and mingle among the throngs of Rat Packers, without raising any undo suspicions.
Chela was obviously giving him the cold shoulder, but she would come around in time. He knew she was not used to being in the line of fire so to speak, other than being pawed at by the clientele she served drinks to, which was all part of the job.
Vegas understood that the waitress feared for his life, so she would be glad to see him alive, whenever he and Casino chose to return to the Rat Pack at a later date.
Meanwhile, it was time to compare notes with his two partners, so he returned to their booth, where he was immediately confronted by his long time partner Casino:
"What did you write on that napkin Vegas? Whatever it was it pissed Dauntless Dog right off and out of the club. There went any possible info, so what now?"
Vegas grinned at Casino and shot back a question of his own:
"What did you see while I was working the crowd to give you the time to quietly check things and the Rat Packers around the room?"
((OOC: Awaits an answer from Casino before proceeding))
"I Thought So!
"As for your question about the Note, I purposely pushed his button by asking 'Where would I find some fresh and untainted young boy?'
"Chela steered me in his direction when I wanted to know who in this club was into young boys?"
Looking over at Fixer, the Dapper Solo directed a question his way:
"Fixer, were you able to get a bead on the identities of Dog and His Boys?
"Looks like we are going hunting tonight, but first we need to give Dog a bit of running room, Because We Still Need the Taser and Grenades!"
Vegas stood up and looked around the room, his drink in hand, before offering a further explanation:
"We Still Need the Taser and Grenades! Time for me to mingle with the Rat Packers to see if any of my 'Adoring Fans' may have something to share that might give us a lead, while we are waiting on Starlight to deliver the goods!"
He leans in towards his two partners with a tip of his fedora, "Dog should be easy enough to find, especially with the way he left in such in hurry!
"Either of you have a better suggestion, or possibly a contact or two who may be able to help?"
Then the Frank Sinatra look-alike made his way among the crowd of Rat Packers, hopeful that someone would strike up a conversation that would possibly uncover a lead, while Casino and Fixer decided what to do to find the missing boy.
