Stone, metal and maybe some wood is what the books say. Vine-like stuff bunched for muscles. No flesh.

Also Legion would probably just let the lizards know about their quest and possibly inquire if they know anything useful about the orcs or a shortcut through the forest.

"Hiding again, ye bloody coward?", the dwarf taunted his foe, axe at the ready to strike should the snake emerge again within range.

(Moving right into the edge of the smoke where I can still see and h olding a choppy chop if it appears within my melee range. Smite on crit.)

"We're just passing through to-", Legion started, but couldn't finish his sentence before battle started. Thinking that the darkness would make him to merely lose his arrows, the warforged drew his swords and prepared to confront the first enemy to get close: "I'd rather not fight you people. Reptiles are not my intended target."

I mean he's a humanoid born (or well built) within civilization, why would he not know how to use money?

I'd prefer traveling when I can see. Torches are a thing ofc but having to use one hand to hold light is meh.

Also how do we split the loot?

Finally seeing his enemy, Gerdar whispered a single word in dwarvish - a horrible wish of death upon the intended recipient, a word that was not spoken often - from between his teeth as he approached, fiercely swinging his axe as soon as he got close.

(Hunter's Marking this thing and trying to make it shorter.)

Legion nodded, making sure the orc stood still while it was being tied up. As they were leaving he gave the creature one last look: "Remember: if you're close enough that I can see you, you're already dead."

(Since we took its weapons did it have any arrows?)

Yes elvish is a language the metal man speaks as he was built by elves back in the day. And no I don't think they have to sleep, though he does need to spend 6 hours in an inactive state (basically he needs to stand still for that time to get rest but he can still see and hear normally) . I see no mention of darkvision on my sheet nor in the warforged rules - like I think it would make sense to warforged to have it but idk where Dragon got it from?

"Are ye shy, ye slithery wee git? Lemme see ya!", Gerdar taunted the beast he assumed to still be around as he kept making his way through the rubble and dust.

(Same as last time, move where I assume the dust vloud ends then attack if possible and smite if crit)

Legion has his "mission takes priority" protocol so he'd not be into taking on the fortress unless necessary for the job at hand tbh.

Silently holding the orc as he was being questioned, Legion understood but a single word of what was being said; and as questions and answers had finished looked at the owlin: "Did it mention drows?"

Honestly Legion prolly wouldn't mind just offing the orc but just tying him up and looting his tied-up ass would do if killing him would be a nope. Also Legion does not speak orcish lol.

Subject: Snakes like axes right?

Gerdar cursed in dwarvish in the cloud, then made his way towards where he had seen the creature, gripping his greataxe. "I've chopped bloody maggots bigger than ye!"

(If I can get into maylay I would like to shorten the snek. Smite if it's a crit cuz the ancestors don't like being surprised by sneks.)

"Does this feel like someone does not want us going deeper?", Gerdar pondered, stroking his beard, "With this thing about every potential new passage is dangerous - I'd say the tunnels themselves hate us but I'm usually loved by tunnels. But were the goblinoids smart enough to leave the place in such state or is there something else in play..."
