The paladin pulled out a javelin and sighed, nodding at Thaöran. "I have only three of these left and once they're gone I'll have to actually go in there to really do anything. But sure, lets do it."

Idk Gerdar was all about just rushing B anyway. Maybe he'll join the Tactical Distraction Unit?

"Does this mean that we can't be going in like rats after all?", Gerdar asked, unable to hide his smirk.

Sighing at what he was doing, Gerdar followed the group as stealthily as his plates allowed him to, mumbling to himself in dwarvish.

I have like 3 javelins. If smites work with thrown stuff I could try that lol.

Srsly tho I gotta get more javelins.

I'm not the one making that character but basically, going by DnD terms, an Eldritch Knight is a fighter subclass that gets some spells (usually either direct combat ones). Basically a knight but with firebolts and stuff.

And aight, dibs on rogue then.

The dwarf smiled as he came closer to the newcomer, stroking his well braided beard, his armor, amulet and signet ring shimmering in whatever bits of sun breached the clouds. "Sir Gerdar of the Cordorehk Clan", he bowed courteously and offered his hand to shake, "And while I may one day be Lord Cordorehk, I generally don't mind friends calling me just Gerdar. Or anyone else doing so, at least when excessive formality is not needed."

Ok so freeform, we can loosely base characters on DnD but don't have to, DnD equivalient of level 8-ish strenght? I may have an idea, an old character from my freeform days before I got into DnD. Not going into too much detail here but rogueish with some magic for extra stealth/trickery and possibly low tier summoning. Unless the rogue role has been picked (in which case I'll think of something else) by someone?

Oh and can I get a short synopsis of the story and world so I can think what ties my character to what we doing? Or are we just gonna meet in a tavern?

Damn I actually started as a free form RPer years before a friend got me into DnD, though it's been a while. I'm a huge fantasy addict so if we're going with that I could hop in, though I'll propably be pretty rusty haha.

Stretching his joints and neck, Gerdar laughed as his soul was filled with an even stronger conviction to terminate the evil in these lands his clan once held a position in.

"That's such an elven plan! A dwarf needs but take a better grip of his axe", he grinned, fiddling with his sizeable armanent, "I didn't come here to sneak around like some rat, I came to clear the way for my clan's, the great Cordorehk Clan's return to the area."

Master has given Gerdar a level! Gerdar is a free dwarf!

"If no one else needs it, I wouldn't mind some healing", Gerdar said as he looked at his wounds, "And a good rest wouldn't hurt either, I don't exactly feel too divine right now. But after that I'd like to get back there and finish what we started... Oh, and I don't think I got any of your names while we were all busy back there. I am Gerdar the Third, of House Cordorehk."

"I don't exactly have smite juice left for this one!", Gerdar snarled as he let the axe hang in his off hand for a while and threw a javelin at the gnoll before continuing the retreat.

@Dragon: Uh it wasn't a leg problem but a stomach infection and smh I'm still having some aftereffects but otherwise better now.

And yeah my logic says that even if it takes two hands to wield you should be able to just kinda hold it with one if you're not using it. Correct me if I'm wrong.

"The archers are through!", Gerdar yelled as he now took a swing at his persistent foe, "If everyone's able to move maybe we should board?"

Dragon, yea lets just say I didn't exactly enjoy time time off.

Nomad, oh thx. I think I'm more or less back now, still derpy tho but trying to check in every now and then and maybe rp.

Sorry guys but due to health complications I'm not sure when I'll be around.

Was gonna say that if there's an update I won't see it til sometime on saturday in the earliest as I'm visiting my mom starting tomorrow but since the update was there I thought I should prolly post my reply while I'm still here.

"I think there's something in the damn water!", Gerdar informed the others as he continued his retreat after them, "Might not be too friendly, neither with us with the goblins."

(Another disengage and keeping up the escape.)

"Big one's down!", gerdar hollered to  the others as he backed up to them, his wounds giving a limp to his steps, "Might be a good moment to regroup and come sweep the small ones later."

Feeling the heavy hit, Gerdar gasped as he strenghtened his hold of the axe once more, raising it above his head and bringing it down towards the bugbear with divine wrath in his eyes and dwarvish warcry on his tongue.

(Attacc with smite, last spell slot goes poof)

Well I edited in the attack (instead of holding it) but I guess we can ignore that. We good.

Ok so I saw the permit to edit and went to edit and only then noticed things had moved and my edit is now weird. What happened to sunday and what do i do? Pls halp.
