After Rhiana leaves, Shiarrael will go to the desk provided with the room and will say out loud “Is the computer in this room voice activated?” /=\\ Yes /=\\ “Good, Display for me the floor plan of this deck. Mark on it the locations of the lounge with its proper name and this room.” As the computer works on that request she will add “Computer also down load, onto my PADD the Linkage devices, the cloak’s mounting platform and the various systems attached to the unit. And on second thought down load the ships floor plan as well with the rooms marked. Add to the floor plain the most efficient route to Engineering and the lounge.” /=\\ Completed /=\\ with that job completed she will look at the time, and study the map. She will have plenty of time to explore the ship after the job is done.
“Computer please list the various controls to this room and their functions” after getting the information she will go to the replicater, order a glass of water sit down on the provided couch and make her self comfortable. She then studies the linkage device setup, after a bit she will say “Computer raise the temperature to 80 and lower the humidity to 15 percent” (Much better) after the changes take effect Shiarrael will continue her studies.

USS Cerberus – after Transporter Room 2 – 1045 hours deck 5
Shiarrael listens to the instructions from S'Talon.
She will then proceed to follow one of the crewmen that were escorting them down to door 009. Following his instructions she places her hand on the doorpad so that it may record her hand print, she will walk in, pleasantly surprised at the size of the room. She will choose the bed area off to the left.
It takes her but a few minutes to unpack. As she is unpacking her room mate Rhiana will enter the room. When Shiarrael finishes unpacking she will comment to Rhiana. “I can get to like this place, if only the inhabitants where nicer. I’m a bit curious as to what the lounge holds. Want to join me? I do not think it would be prudent to travel alone on this ship” This last part had a bit of a chuckle to it.

I'm kinda new at this stuff I did not know a writing sample meant prev. game input. D.M. was just moving things along (Thanks!!!), Next time I will know that is what is wanted. Been busy with work and all, when I get home I do not want to so much as look at a screen of any type some days.
By the way whats the deal with the karma rating thing?

Upon arrival at the spice shop, Oko will regret coming It STINKS!!!!
"I can stay and watch the Horrses while you thrree go in to shop" as he is saying this his nose keeps twitching.
While the others are inside he will move upwind and calmly waits for the transactions to end and they can be on their way
.
As Oko waits for the rest of the gang to complete there purchases he will watch the hustle and bustle of the town and wonders if he will see this place again

Oko had just started to ride off towards the east gate when he hears Jason’s horse go off in another direction. Turning his head he sees him riding over to where Zara and the cleric are at. Curious, Oko will turn his horse around and trot on over to see what was going on, Intrigued by Zara’s request about buying some peppers. “Mind if I tag along as well? I have not had any reason to go to that sector myself.” He had heard his old nickname Ono and was even more curious. How did Zara know THAT name? He will have to watch her closely, there is a lot more to her then what she seems. A Teen that had reached her height but has not filled out yet. Some one who can get a mule to jump a fence and surrender to her, but drops forks and flits about like a flutterby, then talks of getting spices. Mindful of the saying he was always told of when he was a kid growing up. About curiosity and the cat he decides to tag along

when the ranger rode over to join Oko he then nodded and said "South gate and the we circle arround to the temple mentioned. Can yourr friend keep up with the horrses?"
Turning his horse he then started towrds the southgate. Eager to be on the way at last. His horse noting that same eagerness was practally prancing wanting to run and not very happy about being held back.

Upon hearing the snort and drum of hooves. Oko quickly turns around, his sword suddenly in hand as if it had been conjured. He sees the big black coming at him. He will bare his teeth, and readies for the attack. When Septimus manages to stop the horse. Oko will not relax but will continue to watch the unfolding scene with the unblinking stare of the cat. When the horse disappears he will put his sword away. He will not say anything because nothing needed to be said. The black will not have another opportunity at his back and if he gets within reach while attacking, then one of them will not see another sunset. He will turn back to the mare and after she is tacked up Oko will have her bagged with the rest of the horses, mounts up on Shadow Runner and waits for the ranger and his buddy.

When The Big gray just snorted at him, Oko will slowly raise up his hand to let the horse sniff at him. He will pet the horses’ nose and give her a bit of an apple he had cut up earlier and announce “I’ll take this one as my spare.” Oko will then make sure that both the saddle and bridle fit the gray correctly and question the Stable master as to what the horses name was and any habits she had. At the same time he was noting that although this is a very good horse she was a little bit smaller then his Horse, Shadow Runner.

Unmoving Oko will watch as a group of people arrive, 3 on foot and 1 mounted, he recognized the people as the ones he had eaten earlier with. He will watch the pirate noting that for a “seadog” he rode very well. The big black horse he was on responded well to his rider.
Oko was a bit dismayed that the bulk of the group he was to join, were not very observant. When Dae waved to him, he then rode quietly up along side of her not saying anything he just nodded at her, acknowledging her greeting, he will watch as the stable boy nearly got bitten by the big black wondering why Septimus did not waive him off to avoid any trouble. The big black smelt like trouble.
Most horses fall into 2 groups when they first encounter a Felani, They will either panic or attack. The black looked like it would attack.
When Zara enters the corral insisting on the bad tempered mule (by the grace of the Gods why would she pick a mule??) He is surprised when Septimus rushes in to protect her, (Why save her and not the stable boy?) Oko watches, curious as to what the pirate will do next, and catches the remark from Zara about a Ring of Animal Communication. He then turns to Dae and quietly asks “Do you have a ring as well? One that will let you talk with animals? If so can you please talk to that big black horse and tell him I mean him no harm and to not attack as soon as he catches my scent. I do not wish to start the journey on such a bad note.”

When the other players arrive at the Stable, they will see Oko sitting on a horse as massive as he. The horse is wearing studded leather barding; both are in the shade of a nearby tree. As the group enters the yard Oko will turn his head and watch the group. with the calm unblinking gaze of a cat.

As Oko left his sharp ears picked up another horse leaving the inn behind him, when it turned to go in another direction then what he was traveling, he paid no farther attention to it.
First he stopped at another Inn got another 5 lunches. He leaves that inn, placed the packed lunches in his saddlebag muttering to himself. After that he goes to the market square got approximately 25 lbs each of carrots, apples, potatoes, and lastly onions. All was placed into his saddlebag, and each time muttering as he placed the stuff into the bag. He then stopped at the butcher and bought 2 cured hams, 15 lbs each of beef jerky, smoked fish and fresh fish and then last but not least around 20 lbs of sausages. This went into the same saddlebag and again with him muttering to himself. He then removes an empty looking sack and places it in the pocket that lies under his baldric. Before he leaves the market he buys a packet of sweets and 3 weeks of journey cakes. All was placed quietly into his saddlebags. Anybody following him would notice that the saddlebags look nearly empty despite all that was placed into them.
Leaving the square he follows a caravan out of the city, rides along with it a bit, then turns his horse, rides back into town using another gate to re-enter. He will go to the Stone horse about 60 min after he had left the first Inn. Riding up on a hose as massive as Oko, the calm steel grey dappled War horse in heavy barding does not make much noise as he moves. He will stand quietly as Oko looks around for anyone that he ate breakfast with.

After sitting back up Oko will add
“Thank you, I did not know it was marrket day today. I will head therre beforrre going to the west gate; if I don’t get hirred on as a guard therre then I’ll probably be back herre again for brrreakfast tomorrow. In any event when I pass by your house I will leave worrd that I saw you herrre and also say you arre looking well.” He will then look sideways at Zara and adds “That is IF you say it is OK forr your motherrr to know that? “
Oko is not very comfortable in this type of “cloak and Dagger” type behavior; He is a man of action and is noted for being direct. He does understand the need to keep quite at times and when she asked him to pretend to know them, effectively told him to watch his words carefully. And now not to leave in the same direction from here and meet up at another place in a bit, has him wondering what is going on. What happened to the pirate before he arrived? For why else the restriction on his name only.
And so that is the great Septimus, he looks like a weeks worth of rest with plenty of food will do him some good. Maybe this trip to the Barrens will help him some. IF they return alive that is. Oko will chuckle a bit to himself as he gets up to leave, the sooner he is away from here the better. He does not trust himself to not accidentally let something drop and since he does not know all of the whats and whys he will wait at the Livery of the Stone Horse. AFTER leaving town by the west gate trailing behind a caravan and since it is morning he best get moving to find one leaving, it is a good thing his horse was already Tacked up.
Oko will leave at that point and will meet up with the group at the place mentioned in a hour or so.

Since Zara had asked Oko to pretend that he knew her, he cannot very well introduce himself, so all he can do is to try to match the people at the table to the descriptions he was given by the prince.
The tall green eyed man who walked like a sailor, had very high boots, a dead giveaway cutlass, a red scarf tying back his hair, and eats like someone not used to REAL food must be the pirate. The priest must be a newcomer like himself, for the ring looked a bit out of place against the clothes he was wearing. The 2 Elven ladies must be the half sisters. He was told one was a fighter/cleric and the other a magic user of modest ability. Since Zara did not have the look of a fighter she must be the magic user.
Oko could not help thinking Zara looked kind of young for this type of a mission. After all, 5 people did not make for a large party. He hopes the Prince had gathered up some more people and that they will join up later.
Instead of worrying about it Oko tucked in and ate a very hearty meal listening to the others do most of the talking. Oko added some of the dried fruit and honey to the porridge the younger of the 2 sisters offered to him. Then when the serving lad came back with the rest of the food he will ask for 5 lunches to be made up and he will pay for them himself.
He will also give a brief prayer of thanks to the Light for the fact that one of his foes he had vanquished earlier had 2 very useful items on him. He hopes that he will have some time to buy some more supplies. The Barrens are not noted for having much in the way of food or water and his horse must eat as well, since he was big even amongst Felani. Oko does not intend to walk the whole way on foot because his horse does not have enough food and water.
After finishing his meal he would make a suggestion. “I think I should leave as soon as possible in orderrr to make the most of the day. I have supplies to get and some morrre horrrse food and waterrr,” he says in a deep voice that rumbles a little like a purr especially when he says words with an “r” sound.

He will look at the ring and notices it is like his own. Also the fact she matches the description he was given. He smiles with a reply of “It is good to see you again Zara. I was told the food in this establishment is good so I decided to find out for myself if it was. How are you and your sister doing?” as he is saying this he will make some room at the bench for her as well as standing up politely for her sister. He will note the arrival of the tall green eyed male taking in the long dagger at his hip, unusually high boots, and red scarf around his head. He will nod at him as he approaches the table. He will relax a bit when he sees the ring on his hand. “ The porridge is one of the better ones I have encountered” Please sit.

When the first members of the party get downstairs to the common room for breakfast they will see a fairly large feloni hanging about looking at the Inn's guests as they enter the room. He keeps lifting his head up as each person enters the room from any direction. It is not hard to figure out that he is looking for someone. He is aprox 6 and ahalf feet tall at least. must weigh around 300 to 350 pounds, with the typical muscular build of the Felani (think Thunder Cats with no tails)
Unmistakably he looks to be a fighter. He has 2 long swords one on each side and a Bastard sword on his back, as well as a long bow in a case and a finely crafted quiver with arrows., He is dressed fairly simply in leather paints, a shirt that covers up most of a chain shirt under it, A pair of leather gloves are tucked in his belt, he looks like a leopard with rather large spots but he is mostly gray with darker spots (clouded snow leopard pattern. His cloak is medium grey as well and lined in green.
