Oko will eat dinner quietly mulling over what he had seen. That no one noticed the boom and shaking meant that he has to be extra vigilant during watches and off watch as much as possible. He will finally speak up after a bit.
“I do not think we will be joined by ether Septimus or Jason any time soon. Dae, Can you please remove that black monster of Septimus from your bag and talk to it? We may need an extra mount in the future and it is best to get him used to us as soon as possible to avoid issues later besides a horse that distrustful will make a good watch animal. Good stew Zara” he will add with a nod in her direction after he finished up his bowl.
Oko will take care of his own dishes and help a bit with the clean up. ((Moraglin is a bit quit tonight, I should get her alone a bit and ask her what is up)) he thinks as he did his camp chores. And will watch for an opportunity to get her alone.

Subject: Nightfall and camp
After setting up their camp in a defensible position, Oko will tend to his horses. While both Dae and Zara consulting together for some kind of dinner plans, Oko will walk to the edge of camp. As he watches the trail they rode here on, looking for anyone following or rushing to catch up, his eyes detects movement from an unexpected direction. A large soap bubble? Drifting through the sky against the flow of wind it passes quietly overhead. As Oko watches it, it flows onward. Being near the top of a hill Oko has a very long view. The bubble looked to be getting bigger as it approaches the ground in about the area of the last village they had stayed at. The bubble sinks and instead of disappearing it rises back up dribbling stuff from the bottom. While a dull boom accompanied with a rumbling of the earth (like a very heavy Something had hit the ground} A split will appear on the bottom of the bubble and a lot of stuff falls out of it, then the it mends itself back up, getting smaller in the process. With trepidation he watches it approach the group and pass back overhead in about the same path it took before. Going over the mountain range ahead of them, it disappears from view. It looked like it was going the same direction they were, The Barrens.
Oko realizes that his ears were pinned back and that he had “fluffed out“ a bit taking a few minutes to calm himself, he will return back to camp with a feral look in his eyes. Unsure what to tell the ladies.

T’puuli will notice her arm had quit hurting sometime during that odd story the gnome was telling. Looking at her arm, she will say “Magic user huh? Thank you mister Gnome, I owe you one. Normally it would be best to take care of one nest at a time, but the tunnels are small. Why don’t you two magic users and Torigad take 1 tunnel. While myself and Manuhol take the other? That way we do not get in each others way. Ixion Po and Snowlily have already chosen their tunnel.
What you see is a female drow 5’ apx 120 lbs, well built a bit heavier then a normal Drow, Dark skin (Charcoal), Eyes are red with flecks of Silver, her hair is a dirty gray 2 small silver white horns are visible since the hair is dirty and wet. She smells of wet burnt barn and mud. She is wearing mud encrusted green? Boots. She is carrying an ironwood staff that has metal bands. A dagger is on one side of her belt. You will not see any armor. Her loose comfy travel clothes are of a good quality homespun in a dark color (looks dark but is really teal green just wet and dirty)

Need to know how far away I'm from the mounds. Does the Gnome make a lot of noise while following?.
If she runs into any kobolds along the way she will kill them quickly and hopefully before they see her.

We are following some cattle that was stolen from their owner. We mean to return them. The rest of the kobolds are still alive and if you do not want to get involved with the clean up, You might want to leave. For after we are done the cattle will come back down this trail for most of the way. No, I did not kill all of them, I do not drink blood, and as far as dying that is left up to you. My request to you is to please stop singing. It will make you a target; you are very close to the kobold nest." With that she will turn to leave

Subject: Coffee, the first encounter
Stardate: 2374.09.02 to 03
USS Cerberus - Deck 5, 0200 hours or "Oh my lord its too early"
As Shiarrael enters the mess hall she hears some crew members ordering some coffee. (What is Coffee?) And watches as the cup of black delicious smelling beverage appear and is taken away by the crew member. She will order some fish with rice and vegetables for the meal then a cup of coffee black just like the previous person ordered, when the food arrives she picks up the tray and carries it to a table, her PADD is under the tray supporting it, picking a spot that will give her a full view of the door, she will eat her food. Coffee…..a bitter yet satisfying drink she must learn a bit more about it. After finishing her meal and taking care of her dishes she will return to her room.
Too keyed up to rest she will start doing some stretching and a few isometrics to help her to relax….no good, (why am I so wound up?) her meal was normal activity during the day. The only thing different was the coffee.
Going to the computer terminal in the room she will start researching about coffee.
After reading it a bit she will realize it is not a drink to have before going to bed. The caffeine acts as stimuli for the nerves. Realizing that the file is long she will have it down loaded onto her pad. Going back to bed she will meditate first then empty her mind, willing herself to sleep and succeeds at about 2am ships time.
Only to be awakened by the announcement at 5am from the Centurion. =/\\= “All Romulans, You have been invited to be in Engineering for the launching. Contact me if you wish to do so, otherwise just continue as you were. S’Talon you will be with me on the bridge. Standard uniforms, this is not a ceremony.”=/\\=
With a groan Shiarrael will reply crisply =/\\= I will be there Shiarrael out. =/\\=
Shiarrael will get up and dresses, Grabs her PADD then head out the door to Engineering. A good engineer will turn up all systems BEFORE the ship is engaged to allow the ship to warm up properly prior to warping. She did not see that quality in the staff she was working with. It would be best to be on hand if something did go wrong. After all she was on this ship too. She will arrive at the cloaking device and notices it has been powered up at aprox 4:40 and had just finished inspecting it after relieving the Tec who had powered it up (Why was she not told earlier?) she will reply ." =/\\= Go. =/\\= after an unfamiliar voice asks for a go or no go on "Cloaking Systems." She will continue at her post till she is relieved.
BTW: she is tired but keeps any sign of fatigue well hid. she will be very precise and crisp on all replies and answers. But not rude. Anyone who has dealt with a Vulcan who is focused on the job on hand will notice the same type of mannerisms with her.

T’puuli will step out of the bushes a bit ahead of the gnome and wait for him to reach her.
He sees a drow with very dirty hair, a slung quarterstaff on her back standing just off of the road watching him approach.
(She has learned that it is best to be still and non threatening when first meeting people. She is impatient to return to the mounds but discipline will hold her, otherwise this gnome will either get killed by running Kobolds or stampeded by a bunch of cows Also she saw her cloak in his wagon)
