Subject: Good Morning
While Oko was eating, he looked up when he heard someone descending the stairs, seeing that it was Septimus he will return to eating his breakfast. When the next person starts to descend the stairs he will again look up upon seeing it was Moraglin. He will again turn back to his plate but will surreptitiously watch her from the corner of his eye as she approaches the table. (Good movement there)
Moraglin gives the pure Felani male an assessing look and with a light arch of interest in her eyebrow. "I hope you are feeling fit as a fiddle this fine morning. Perhaps today I can get an opportunity to find out more about you” Said Moraglin.
“Hummm, Maybe. And yes you may call me Oko.” (As he finishes up his meal.) “Most of my frriends do so. The food herre is very good, I could get used to such fine eating.” After eating enough food for 2 big men, He pushes back his plate and stands up, looks at Zara like he is going to say something when Dae approaches and makes her announcement of
“Good Morning, I have all the horses being saddled and made ready so when we are finished we can get started again."
“Good Morrning Dae, Pardon me for leaving just as you get herre, It takes a bit of time to get the armorr onto Shadow Rrrunner and adjusted corrrectly, after it has been completely cleaned and polished.” With that he will leave the common room and head to the stables carrying his bags.
When he enters, he finds all of the horses cleaned and well groomed. Surprised to find that Shadow was not only well groomed, but that his main and tail had been not only rebrushed but was rebraided as well. The stable boy he had spoken to yesterday, had the bulk of the horse armor on a tarp (the larger and heavier pieces) and was helping 2 other boys as they worked to get the lighter parts attached. A younger girl was petting the horse and was softly singing to him. The horse was in 7th heaven. All the attention he could ever hope for. Chuckling Oko will walk up to the boys noting that nobody had been bit or hit will tell them “You do good work I thank you, and as you can see Shadow is very happy as well. Who is the young lady with the pretty voice?”
“That is my sister sir, She likes horses spealy gray ones since you said he likes to be petted I kinda thought if she were to pet him he would not mind so many of us as we get this armor on. He is a very strong horse to carry all this” He says in a single breath excitedly.
“Yes, Shadow is very strong and he does like kids. My sister’s daughter would come out and give him treats and sing to all the horses, who did the braiding?” Oko will ask as he helps the boys with the armor.
“My sister did the main last night and the tail this morning, my da’ said that she is the bestst there is when it comes to braidin”
With the help of the 3 boys Oko has Shadow ready in no time. After the horse is fully tacked up and his bags stowed, Oko will turn to the oldest stable boy and gives him 3 copper as promised and then 2 silvers for the rush job of cleaning and polishing the armor. After that Oko will walk up to the girl squat down to look her in the eye and asks “What is yourr name little one?”
“A..Ariel s..sir” was the quit shy reply as Ariel twisted a button on her sleeve.
“Arrriel, that is a prretty name. I would like to thank you for helping your brothers, doing such a good job at rebraiding Shadow Rrunners main and tail, and singing to him. You have made him verry happy. Forr that I will give you this” he hands her a copper “this is for you Arrriel, Thank you again” he will nod his head to her and then stands up (this kid is a just about waist high to him) He hears a quit “T,,thank you s,,sir” at which he will politely nod his head again.
He will then lead Shadow over to where the rest of the horses are waiting and wait along with them for the rest of the gang.

USS Cerberus – 1500 hours deck 5 The Lounge
The guard will hesitate a bit, the smoothly cover it up by saying “I noticed that your drinks are low, would you like a refill?” at those words Shiarrael face becomes amused “Good recovery for a red shirt you just might become an officer, IF you live past your blunders, next time you would like to peek at a personal PADD approach the user from behind a little to one side or the other, with a cover story ready to go. This way you can at least get a glimpse of what is on the screen. A good memory is a major help in that area. In answer to your question, I’m drinking spring water with Ice and my friend is drinking a Beer. She might like a brandy, since she posted that the beer was tasteless and the list of drinks is very long.” After the guard leaves, she will then type // I hope you don’t mind that last part? I felt like tweaking his nose a bit. //
When the guard returns she notices he has taken her advice about peeking at PADDs. She will allow him a peek,…… He will see Romulan script not federation on it.

When Moraglin makes her entrance Oko was one of the males watching as she swept into the room like she was the queen of the land and enjoyed the show and movement. It has been a while since he was with his own kind. Putting a squash to the direction his mind had taken he returns to eating his meal and relaxes, leaning up against the wall he will look around at the people in the common room enjoying the unexpected addition of a bard to their evening meal. He notices the 3 huddled in a corner, wonder what they are up to (probably up to no good) and puts them out of his mind. They are just passing through and should not be getting involved in local politics.
When the night winds down he will ask the inn keep what room he is in carrying his bags up with him he will place his stuff under the bed except for 1 bag, strip down out of his clothes, walks over to the bag he had placed onto the bed and open it up. Removing a folded piece of cloth he will spread it out on the floor, go back to the bag and removes a long handled brush and returns to the sheet. Sitting in the middle of the sheet He will then proceed to brush himself down anyone eavesdropping will hear a low rumbling purr. After he completes that chore (that felt GOOD) he will clean out the brush, carefully gather up the sheet by the corners, walk to the window, open it up, looks around for anybody in sight, noting that the air movement was NOT towards him and seeing no one in sight he will then hold the sheet out of the window and give it a good shake. After he finishes he will refold the sheet, close the window, stow everything back into his bag and places it under the bed with the other bag. Oko will then lie down on top of the bed and go to sleep.
In the morning he wakes up as soon as it becomes light he will get up give himself a light brush down (gotta look good for the ladies) do a few stretches to limber up, gets dressed, gathers up his bags and will leave the room. Stopping at the top of the stairs to see who was down already, or not.
Seeing Zara at a table with food He will saunter over to her. “Good Morrrning Zarra Mind if I join you for breakfast?” when she says yes he can Oko will sit down with his bags at his feet but not in the way and his back to the wall with the best view of the room he will then start to eat, And eat well, Free food is not to be wasted. Turning to Zara he will ask “Did you sleep well? Is Morgan doing better today? And is he able to travel?”

Oko will tell the stable boy “He will need a complete brush down. Please show me the stall he is to go into” Oko will then start to lead Shadow Runner to the indicated stall. While passing by the rest of the group he notices that Moraglin was looking a bit stiff when she dismounted from her horse. He steps slow a bit when her horse shrank and became a small statue. With his nose twitching and curiosity again tugging at him, He will squash the first thing that came into his mind. He will turn his head back to where it belonged, enters into the assigned stall and proceeds to remove all of his horse’s tack.
Anyone watching will see that the horse was fond of his rider and that he will push his nose under Oko’s arm when ever the opportunity presents itself, or will nuzzle him at other times. In return His rider will pat, pet, and scratch Runner as he removes the tack. With that part done Oko will gather up the removed tack, after a final pat to his horse.
Looking up and around for the stable boy, and motions the kid over to him. When the kid comes over Oko will inform him “Shadow Runner is a very friendly fellow and likes to be petted. Do not yell at him or hit him, he may think you are attacking, and you will not like the results. In the morning if you have not been bitten or kicked, you will get an extra 3 coppers. Also I will need to know how much it will cost to have this tack completely cleaned by early tomorrow morning. And will you be able to get that done? ”
“Yes sir, I can, I have a couple of younger brothers they can help me with this job and we can get it polished too sir.”
“Good, if you and your crew do a good job then you can all share in an extra silver piece.”
With that he will enter the Inn with his saddle bags, Look around to where the rest of the group was. Noting their location He will saunter on over absently pick a spot that will give him a view of Inn’s door. He will sit down with his back towards the wall if possible, and place his bags next to him.
(Just where did that crazy pirate go now? And why are his weapons with Moraglin?) “Where is ‘Morgan’?” Oko will ask of the group.
When the serving maid comes over after noting that her group got larger he will tell her “I would like ale and what ever they are having food wise”
When Oko is informed that Morgan did not feel well and has went to his room.
Looking at Zara, Oko will ask “Is he well enough to eat some food? He has the look of someone who has not eaten or slept well for a long time.”
When the food comes he will eat well.

Of course there was not reason to exchange their P.A.D.D. across the table. They could as
Easily sent it to each other but the oddness of it might just alert their watchdogs who, Sat nearby watching them like hawks. This pleases Rhiana not end. Ah well it would give them something to discuss about and wonder and fill up their empty hours on their watch.
She sat back satisfied with their little exchange.
"Tell me what you think about this." she asked Lt Shiarrael as she passed her P.A.D.D back yet again. I think this might work out. As she did one of their sentries stood up, and tried to see what was on the screen even though it had a privacy screen on it. Only those looking at about 85 to 95 degrees of the screen could see what was on it.
She typed in the words. //Oh, we got one looking right now// and finished passing it.
Shiarrael will take the PADD, read it, jots down another line and passes it back to Rhiana.
Out loud “I REALLY got to fix the send button on my PADD, This passing back and forth might get us in trouble”. She will then turn to the guard and coldly asks, “Is there something you need?” An arched eyebrow is all that moves on her poker face.

Not much I can add to what has already been said, I lost my last Grandmother 12-13-07, and my grandfather was at Normandy beach in WW2. I too did not find this out till after he was gone. Grandpa did not talk of the past and neither did my Grandmother. You take care and my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. May you live long and prosper. Ginger

Dae fought the impulse to go to him. He would not appreciate her helping him; she could see it in his eyes, in his attitude. Their concern for him made him fight all the harder against them. So for now she said and did nothing.
"Welcome to our group. I am Dae, This is Oko," she gestures to the huge Felani fighter. "This is Jason our spell caster. If you are ready we will move on?"
"Oko if you would take the rear, I will take the front. Moraglin, as a spell caster you and Jason will be somewhere in the center. Hopefully a bit spread out from each other. Zara and Septimus will you two take the center of the group and protect the spell casters then we will get moving now and rest when necessary." Like a good leader she marshaled her forces such as they were and set out on a journey that still waited for them.
When Oko’s name is mentioned he will nod to the new comer. And when his position given he could not help but smile. A tight lipped smile, for only the ones who ticked him off will see his fangs. He had already chosen that position earlier (that is one way of letting Septimus know what order they were riding in.)
Time had been lost and she would try to make it up despite Septimus's condition. He again would not thank her for resting the group because he needed it, so she wouldn't.
"Everyone lets ride."
With that said Oko will let the rest of the party move on ahead of him and will bring up the rear, looking back every so often for pursuit, but mostly enjoying the view ahead of him.
(That is one strange horse she is riding, I wonder what breed it is?)
With that thought in mind he will watch the pirate. Not too sure as to why she would hand him his dagger back with so many demons plaguing him.

USS Cerberus – 1500 hours deck 5
Rhiana took the turbo lift down to deck 5 where her quarters with Shiarrael were located.
Lieutenant Rhiana stepped out smartly into the hallway passed the security team outside the Centurion’s door and a thought crossed her mine. As she walked to the turbo lift she quickly typed in the essence of it into her palm pad, to share with Shiarrael. She would not mention anything out loud too many big ears. Sometimes an imp of the perverse erupted in her creative mind. Having examined this one carefully she thought it the most delicious idea that she had had in a long time. Star Fleet was watching them and would be recording just about every thing they said or did especially when using their "communicators" That is why her idea was written out only on her personal pad.
Rhiana picked up her step and quickly got to her assigned rooms.
Entering she found Shiarrael cozily ensconced on the sofa feet tucked up under her. Rhiana moves over to where she is sitting, "Ready to go to the lounge?" If you are, take a look at this while I take a quick shower and change.” Rhiana hands Shiarrael her pad and then explains, “It is an idea I had or improving the efficiency of the power couplings."
Anyway that is what she said. What she had written was something totally different. "Read this and tell me if this would not work." The words written on her pad were......(WOULDN'TYOU LIKE TO KNOW--ROTFLMAO.) "Check it out and tell me what you think. I have all the relevant material I need to make it work." There is a wicked grin on her face.
Shiarrael will take the offered PADD, and looks at what is on it. The only reaction visible is one eyebrow will lift up. She will look up at Rhiana, then type in.
/=\\That will drive them INSANE!!!!/=\\ But will say out loud “That sounds good, I could use a drink”
She will then hand Rhiana back her PADD. Picking up her own, she will press a couple of buttons to see where the crew lounge was located
“The lounge is on this deck just down the hall, which can be VERY convenient”
At that point she will type on her PADD the reply of /=\\ want to start, Now in the lounge? /=\\ and passes her pad to Rhiana while she will then gracefully get up from the couch, grab her boots and her over shirt and puts them back on.
“Since we are already in formal attire a change of clothes is not needed. Oh by the way you only need to tell the room what you want temperature and humidity wise and it will accommodate you. I had set it to 80 with a humidity of 15 a little bit higher then the 75, 30 mix it was on before, Fell free to adjust it to what you want”
While Rhiana is getting in touch with the rest of the group and getting cleaned up, Shiarrael will remove any trace of herself from the common room and neatly stow her pad on her bed side table. Stop at the dresser to make sure her hair is correct then will head towards the door. Stopping half way she will turn around retrieve her PADD, and will return to the door.
When Rhiana joins her, they will then leave the room and head towards the Lounge. Only stopping once at the lounge door, turning her head Shiarrael will ask the security officer closest to her and asks lightly
“Would you like to join us? I do not want to feel like I’m being rude. I’m sure the two of you can prevent any mischief on our part as well as keeping any rude males from bothering us.”
The foursome will make their way to a table near the window. Shiarrael will ask Rhiana what she would like to drink, turning to the guards with a questioning look to see if they would like to order as well. They turn down the invitation like she knew they would.
( Cuddles probably would of made Ter’ak chow out of them if they fraternized with the dreaded enemy )
She will go to the replicater, order the drinks and return to the table to chat with Rhiana about power couplings. The PADDs will be written on and passed back and forth as the conversation goes on.

When Rhiana entered the room, Shiarrael was sitting on the couch at one end with her feet tucked under sitting side ways with one arm resting on the back of the couch her other arm was busy holding a PADD that she was reading from. Her boots where on the floor by the couch and her over shirt was neatly draped over the back of the chair by the desk.
At her roommates question she will stretch and reply
“That sounds good, I could use a drink”

When Dae stopped and looked back, Oko will stop as well and look. Seeing the rider leave the road he will turn to Dae. “Looks like they are going another way” he will remark. “Do you wish to investigate?” He will then check to see what the others are doing and will call ahead “I think a brief stop will do, we might have company.”
Turning his horse around Oko will wait to see who approaches them. A woman with long hair riding a black horse (?) Appeared, towing a floating man (?) a flying jeweled colored creature leading a horse that looked like the one Septimus was riding earlier, When Zara rushes past he will stay put but will check his bow, the rider that is approaching them is a magic user and you do not rush in on them, Arrows work best.
Seeing that Zara was not met with hostility he will politely greet Moraglin with a nod. And will reply “you are welcome to join us, I’m Oko, and “Septimus is alive” was he in danger? And what had happened to him?” Oko will then move up to where Zara and Septimus is at.
He will ask Zara what had happened. Upon hearing that Septimus had tried to kill himself. Oko will snort and say “Killing your self is something a coward will do; I did not think of you as being such.” With that he will turn to Zara and ask “Will it be OK with you if I ask Dae to see if she can check for a curse or a gies is upon him or are you able to tell?”

A Foolish choice, but Oh well
“Septimus has gone ahead”……..//FOOL one of the first rules you learn as a fighter is do not travel in hostile lands by your self!!!// Is the first thing through Oko’s mind…//Oh well, at least if any one is watching and counting this should throw them off of the trail for a bit We can also give whats left a deceint burial if we find anything // is the second thought.
Out loud Oko will say “So now we trravel, I think the Rranger is best in front, I’ll be in the back keeping an eye out for any trrouble from that dirrection” After saying that Oko will fall back a bit till he is the last one in the party as the group moves north.
Oko will be in the back off to the side, whichever side is the upwind side will be his normal position while traveling.
