Topic: The Legacy of the Shade Lord
Subject: The Muddy Trail

After the last Kobolds falls, T’puuli will head down the bank about half way, still in cover when Ixion said he will check the left side and telling the rest not to make too much noise. At that point she will go back to the top and cover the right flank. Keeping the muddy path in sight while she checks for more would be ambushers.

(she can return later to loot the bodies, besides her cloak needs to retrieved as well)

The muddy Path part 2

After she turns around T’puuli will trot back along the path towards town. Once she is out of sight she will stop, lean her staff against a tree, remove her wet and smokey cloak and place it on a nearby bush, pick up some mud and leaf litter (sans cow s***) and rub it in her hair and clothes to hopefully get rid of the smoke smell. Then she will be using her move silently and hide skills to move in behind the kobolds on the right side and wait for some sign to attack.

Around the corner

After turning the corner Oko will pass the lead rope to the pack horse to Zara. “Shadow wants to run a bit.” He will tell her, turning his horse onto the road Oko will lean forward and at that que the big horse leaps forward and thunders down the road, after a mile or so. Oko will straighten up to slow down Shadow who reluctantly slows down; after all he did like running all out.

At the top of a small raise on the road, the rider on a large gray horse will finally stop. His horse restive and impatient will paw the ground with a massive hoof as his rider looks around at the green landscape. Pulling on the reins to turn the great horse Oko will trot back towards the inn. He is a bit concerned that he did not see any caravans on the road or anything moving so is a bit more watchful on his trip back. His horse moving freely and easy like the weight he carried was nothing the trip back to the inn was eventful.

USS Cerberus – 1520 hours deck 5 The Lounge

After a few minutes of looking out the window as her roommate reads her book or report on her PADD. Shiarrael will stand up, tap Rhiana on the arm and remind her that they have about 10 minutes left to report. Gathering up both glasses she will return them to the dirty dishes bin, walk back to the table, and pick up her PADD then head to the door. One of the security guards will follow her.
(Assuming Rhiana is with her) Shiarrael will head to the door.

The muddy Path

“I would suggest that we turn around and head back to the village it is too much risk for just a couple of cows ” T'puuli said out loud in a voice a bit louder then normal. And then she will add in a much lower voice, “As soon as we turn a corner and get out of sight, we head back here but off the trail on the left side and ambush the ambushers. The sooner the better otherwise no cows will be left. Is this plan acceptable? ” She is ready to leave

Along the muddy trail

As Tellanth speaks, T'puuli will listen politely. When he has finished speaking she will reply in a low melodic voice that is easy to listen to “my name is T'puuli. Nice to meet you Tellanth. Just what type of strategy do you have in mind?”

Cows

as T'puuli follow the easy to follow trail she will pull her hood back up to hide her hair(hoping that not very many people saw her horns.)

She is walking to one side of the trail being leery of any traps or ambushes

I would think that in this world the folks would be more tolerant since dragons are rulers in most places at one time or another and had a propensity for chasing the pretty face.

In a regular D&D game most mixes are looked down on. and both the drow and dwarf would of been used for target practice long before adulthood.

The corral

As she arrives at the corral she hears the fellow bemoaning the fact that his cows are gone.
Looking around she will see some smallish crumpled bodies and will walk up to one of them. Bend down and examine it. Once she is done she will look at the ground observe the tracks and smile, Cows will be easy to follow in muddy ground. She will look at the white elf and remark “if we follow the cows we should find the rest of the group. Are you game for some hide and seek? With us being the seekers?” As the elf considers the suggestion T’puuli will start off following the tracks the cows had left.

“The horrses could use a bit of a rrun, but we should settle to just out of sight. Some folks might panic if their horrse is not where it should be and enough panic has happened this Morrrning.” At that point a chuckle rumbles deep inside as he mounts up on his hose holding the reins to a couple of other horses, waits for Zara to mount up the move to the side of the building out of sight of the back door.

Subject: is that a typo?? or too much time has past?

Oko notices there was a typo on the last post. He goes back and fixes it. Then he will stretch and yawn in that order. Walks back to the hitching post, pet Shadow Runner on the nose and does the same for the other horses to get them used to his smell. Then it is back to the nice sunny spot, lean against the rail, close his eyes. Open them with a snap....was that a person sneaking around the corner? Yes it was, Oko will follow one of the guys he saw the previous night very quietly, like a cat stalking a mouse. The fellow will stop at the side window of the Loo (outhouse) and peak in. Oko can hear that some one is using it. Taking a deep breath Oko hollers in a voice that will carry a LONG way

“HEY!! YOU!! THE ONE PEEKING INTO THE OUTHOUSE. YEAH YOU! MANGY RUNT DRESSED IN BROWN COME HERE!”

The guy jumps and with a scared look in the direction the voice came from will take one look and pelts out of there like he had been shot. At the same time there is a female yell from inside the outhouse and the barmaid followed by another guy runs out of the same Loo. Him holding his pants and she adjusting her skirt. Oko will shout “HEY SORRY YOU TWO”

Oko will walk back to the rail and lean against it, enjoying the warm sun shine.

I hope not that would get rid of a very good monk! This one took a couple of days to iron out not to mention a certain dark skinned dwarf.

What you see running down the street following 3 people

T’puuli is 5’ apx 120 lbs, well built a bit heavier then a normal Drow, Dark skin (Charcoal), Eyes are red with flecks of Silver, her hair is a dirty gray 2 small silver white horns are visible since the hair is dirty and wet (the hood fell back as she was running). She smells of wet burnt barn and mud. Her very wet cloak is of a smokey blue gray color. She is wearing mud encrusted green? Boots. She is carrying an ironwood staff that has metal bands. A dagger is on one side of her belt. You will not see any armor. Her clothes are of a good quality homespun in a dark color (looks dark but is really teal green just wet and dirty)

Outside of the Burning Barn

She is very glad her cloak was soaking wet when this started. Turning back to the barn and seeing the roof had collapsed she will bow her head and say a quick prayer for the animals that did not get to safety, hope no one else was inside. And lastly wonder how can a very wet barn burn so fast and hot.

She will turn around looking for the other two. Seeing that they were OK T’puuli will look for the girl and her mother. Seeing them still hugging each other.

Hearing that somebody will need some help and that 3 people run off the human and elf maid T'puuli will follow them quitly and as she does so she will unsling her quarter staff. Her now smokey wet cloak blends into the background a little better and her silver white hair is completly covered by a very sodden hood.

Inside The Burning barn

Upon seeing the girl, T’puuli will sling her staff onto her back pull out a dagger and cut the girl loose. She will then pick her up and run out of the barn, As she passes by a human male and a female elf she will yell “Get OUT!!, this place is lost” and exits the barn.

Once she is outside she will pass the girl to one of the bystanders and tell them to get the girl to a healer or wise woman right away. T’puuli will then turn to see if the other two got out of the barn.

The Burning Barn

T’puuli seeing the source of the scream will still follow them. Pulling her wet hood completely over her head she will enter the barn to extract the lady who is screaming.

(Fyi her quarterstaff is in her one hand, easier to run that way)

Sounds good to me that way I can weave it into her actions or reply....not that this one talks much...might have to work on that one. I have an annoying talker in another game and did not want a second one.
