Subject: LOL

It's definitely funny, and I would wear it...BUT...there will be two big misunderstandings with it:

1. People either won't read the rest of the shirt, or they won't get it and they'll just accept the idea that i'm a Jesus freak.
2. People will read the rest, and ask me to explain. Then they still won't get it, look at me weird, forget the website name, and accept the idea that i am blasphemous.

Thought I'd share a funny story about today.

Ok, so something over 2.5 years ago, when Michiel (Almerin) and I were moving into this place, we of course went in search for a washing machine (gotta wash your clothes, right?!). Ok, so in the store, we saw that they had washer/dryer combo's. One machine that would both wash your clothes and dry them too (with heat). So that's what we bought.
Then, in a couple of weeks or so, they delivered it. I started using it right away because i really needed to wash the laundry that we had! But for the life of me, i couldn't figure out how to make the dryer part work. So i just figured i would hang the laundry to dry until i could figure out the drying option. After about 2 weeks or so of use, and a thorough (and what i thought was a GOOD) review of the instruction manual, i 'realized' that they had delivered the WRONG washer/dryer combo...because there was NO WAY this one was going to dry clothes. It was just a washer. But we thought it was also too late to return it, since we had used it so much. So we decided to keep the stupid thing. So for 2.5 years of living in the apartment, i have been aching for a clothing dryer soooooo bad.

Then today, it's kind of warm-ish weather, and the sun is coming in the windows right?...ok, so...i had some clothes that i wanted to wear today, that i just took out of the washer, and i figured i would turn the radiator/heater on and dry them on that. OK...bad idea, it's way too hot to turn the heater on! So i started thinking about our dang washer...and how it's supposed to be a dryer, too. So i went and got the instruction manual again, and within 5 minutes, i found out how to DRY THE STINKING CLOTHES!!!!!! AHHHHHHH!!! ALL THESE YEARSSSS. *sigh*
It's one measly little button that you push...and then VOILA! We have a dryer!!
The reason i couldn't figure it out earlier is because there are 2 sides to the English part of the instructions, and i was only reading one side lol!!! Lame.

I've never had such a feeling of ridiculous idiocy!

I'm so happy now, i kissed our beautiful washer/dryer combo!!

Lol

i'm pretty much already the first one. It has its good moments and bad, so I guess i'll stick with being intelligent and indecisive.

Take a cold bath in winter or drink a mug of cold black coffee?

Subject: shiwishsihswihsdhedihdcixwihroach

hsiw is again spelled wish, but now due to the time of arrangement, it has lost its meaning, and so now a Wish is an orange, deadly, biting cockroach, and there is no such thing as the former 'wish' meaning. No wish's! Only cockroaches.

I wish Madonna would embrace her age and stop making bad-sounding, scary-looking, corny wannabe-cool-and-young-and-hott videos (and songs). Ok..too many hyphens. Too many Madonnas!

We (Almerin and I) saw Horton Hears a Who.
It was great! I love the idea behind it. The fact, really. The fact that is so hard for so many of us to comprehend, rightfully so actually. It's that, in this enormous entire world, we aren't the only ones, and who says we are the superior? We are only a spec in an enormous world. And within our world, are billions of other 'specs' and worlds within those specs.

Do YOU hear a Who?? I do!

Don't be the Kangaroo! (You'll know what i mean by that when you see the movie).

Oh yes, (edit part): I went to see 10,000 B.C. with a friend. Hmm...i was dissapointed. I had expected it to be a little more rugged, interesting, spontaneous, scary-ish(kinda), but it turned out to be a family film, and very predictable and with its share of cheesiness. *shrugs* I'd recommend Apocalypto in its place.

Speaking of early time cavepeople and such, we recently watched the German caveman/neaderthal movie Am Anfang War Das Feuer (In the Beginning There Was Fire). Don't worry, no spoken words, only caveman talk. No words are needed. The problem these neaderthals face in this movie, is that once they find fire (taken from a volcano), other tribes try to steal it from them. When the fire is stolen, the main tribe of the movie have a serious problem, because they don't know how to recreate it! Good film, really evolutionist, however. Christians beware!

Hello Throwing Spiders! I should hope you don't really throw spiders...I'm not as enthousiastic about it as Grugg is. Though i do find it a very interesting title.
Welcome to the Inn! Sounds like the internet is fairly new to you, so i hope the RDInn can aid in getting you farmiliarized! It pretty much helped me 7 years ago, and i've stuck around ever since. Nice place we've got here. Enjoy it!

Into The Wild. 2007. Based on a true story. After graduating from Emory University in 1992, top student and athlete Christopher McCandless abandoned his possessions, gave his entire $24,000 savings account to charity and hitchhiked to Alaska to live in the wilderness. Along the way, Christopher encounters a series of characters who shape his life. Beautiful, awesome story and film. Took me a while to get used to the main character, but he grows on you and it's lovely. Refreshing!

Awakenings. 1990 film. A new doctor finds himself with a ward full of comatose patients. He is disturbed by them and the fact that they have been comatose for decades with no hope of any cure. When he finds a possible chemical cure, he gets permission to try it on one of them. When the first patient awakes, he is now an adult having gone into a coma in his early teens. The film then delights in the new awareness of the patients and then on the reactions of their relatives to the changes in the newly awakened. Summary written by John Vogel
My 2 cents: lovely, pretty emotional, and at times could be disturbing.

Mozart and the Whale. 2005 with Josh Hartnett and Radha Mitchell. A love story between two savants with Asperger's syndrome, a kind of autism, whose disabilites sabotage their budding relationship.
I loved this movie. Gave me a lot of smiles and emotions. Josh Hartnett does an amazing job. It really frustrated me in all the right ways.

Subject: I resized

Hey Raven! I hope you don't mind that i took the liberty to make your photos a little bit smaller. I logged in as Almerin to do it. They're still nice and big, but without stretching the screen.
All i did was add width="900" after the url.jpg".
That's an easy way of resizing a photo and keeping its proportions in tact (you can always change the 900 to something bigger or smaller, keeping it in the hundreds if you go smaller). It automatically resizes the height to fit it perfectly. So no need to mess around with the height yourself.

Anyway, your daughter Lisa is absoultely stunning!! She's very pretty. Saara is as cute as can be, too.
Edit: And that bath she's in looks really comforting and inspiring, haha! I think i'll go take a bath now.
