"I see. Is that when you first met her? Following your spawn?" D'Artigo's head still looked around, his hair flipping around. Panic hadn't entered his composure... yet.

"No." Miv's tone said the talk was over.

D'Artigo could tell by Miv's tone that she didn't want to talk about it anymore. But he would figure it out sometime.

"There. This is the place. I remember it now. There's the inn where I found her. So it should be... this alley." He says, rounding a corner. The alley lay empty, except for a coat and some shoes.

"Oh dear... this is bad. She's gone Pale Rose." Well, this didn't go as planned...

An ear splitting scream pierced the night. D'Artigo's head whipped around at the sound. "Oh dear. It would seem as though our darling was a bit preemptive. Come. We've no time to lose." D'Artigo abandons Miv, almost flying through the streets with his agility, pushing people out of the way. That might have been one death... which was one too many. Nobody would suffer the same way he had caused others to.

Miv kept pace with him. 'Oh god, I don't need this!' She thought.
The scream hurt Ciridia's ears. She whimpered and took a step back.

The scream offered a good direction. Until it was cut off of course. But still, the slurping - now that he was close enough, would suffice. Skidding around a corner. He had found her.

"Clarissa! It's me! Look upon me! It's okay!" She wasn't stopping. He managed to get a glimpse of her eyes. Blood Red. Not good for a new vamp. Alright then, the hard way. Running at her, D'Artigo tackles her to the ground. Shaking his head vigorously as she clawed at his arms and chest, his mask falls off, being knocked away with a thrash from the struggling vampire. There was a crashing sound, but he didn't hear it. Instead, he just stared at Clarissa. "Baby, calm down. I know it's difficult, and I'm sorry I wasn't here earlier. But you have to believe me it doesn't have to be like this!"

Not looking away, D'Artigo calls out to Miv. "Pale Rose! Make sure nobody comes down this alleyway, alright? And if it I say run, you need to run, okay?" This new spawn was stronger than he thought she would be. He was having a hard time keeping her in check

"Of course." Miv did as she was told. Suddenly, images of Ciridia became clear in her mind. Miv tried to focus on both scenes at once...

'Run.' The white wolf sped away. Her body flitted between the trees. Animal fear clutched her tightly. Ciridia sped away.

Miv shook her head. No...

"Dammit Clarissa! Look at me! Remember!"

Suddenly, the thrashing began to become less violent. The woman's eyes faded... then returned to their emerald green colour. Breathing a sigh of relief, D'Artigo stands up. Holding out his hand, he helps Clarissa up as well. "Well, that was a fright. Are you okay my baby?" With the woman's stunned nod, D'Artigo turns to retrieve his mask. And as he looked at it, his heart sank. With the thrashing that had taken place, the mask had been thrown against the side of the building. The porcelain mask couldn't handle than, and had broken. Crap.

Picking up the largest piece, and reattaching it to his face, he realized that this was going to have to be sufficient enough. The top left portion of his face would now be revealed, showing one long scar being slashed in a diagonal path over his eye. Well, it was better than the whole face.

Now it was time for Clarissa to meet Miv. Another Vampire, so she should be comfortable, though shy. "Looks like we're almost done here." D'Artigo said to Miv as he approached her, Clarissa by his side. "This is the baby."

Miv looked at her then at D'Artigo. "Lyca ran and I know I'm not that fast. We need to hurry up here.

Miv looked at Clarissa. "Forgive me. I'm sure you have questions. How may I help?"

The woman was incredibly shy, still trying to cope with what had happened. "Um... what am I supposed to do now that I'm a... a... thing! My life is ruined, everyone will hate me, especially if I keep sucking people's blood from their veins! How the heck do I cope with this?" The woman is frantic.

Miv smiled. "Go D'Artigo and find my sister. I will take care of her."

Miv held a hand out. "Walk with me."

D'Artigo bowed elegantly. "If that is what you wish Pale Rose." Turning to Clarissa, he says, "Be good my baby. Don't worry - you are safe with her."

With that, he took off into the night. The wind felt strange on his face.

Clarissa looked at the hand, and waved it off, but said. "Okay... I guess so."

Miv sighed alittle as she started walking. "You must learn to feed on animals. You must discover your skills on your own. Age and looks are yours to command. Let no one know what you are and you can live in peace with humans."

The white fur was now black hair. Ciridia was curled into a ball, shivering.

Jessica ran after the Lyca. Lyca was wimpering. Jessica made her voice soothing "It okay, it's okay. the vampire wont hurt you. There nothing to be afraid of." Jessica wanted to hug Lyca but Jessica wasn't sure how she would reated"

D'Artigo arrived at the edge of the forest, looking for Erina-she would always be Erina on the inside- but when he arrived, he couldn't see her, or any indication of which way she went. "Crap. No way to track her. Maybe I can sniff her out..."

Clarissa looked at Miv. "But... that human blood there... it was so nice. What if I don't drink all of their blood, just some? And won't it be somewhat obvious that I'm a vampire now?"

Ciridia quieted and looked up. She suddenly sprung up and looked at Jessica. 'Rand!' She thought, not speaking allowed. She howled loudly, hoping that he would hear.

(I can't be on long today, so Christina is taking up duties again. Christina: Do what you think I would with Ciri. And what you think I would like. I WILL NOT COMPLAIN OR ERASE, JUST DON'T KILL HER.)
