Hey!

In game world we've lived a few hours already...

And I think Eol and I have worked up backup char concepts for when the day comes

heh

Wise people, you are. I know that Ali has a backup concept, as well (think she wishes she'd used it to start with).

Speak for yourselves!!!

Haven't I told you that I'm indestructible?

Seriously, though... that's the gist of that epic post that Meri and I worked on and I just added to the thread... Murph's rallying up his military demeanor and trying to get these folks together so that they at least believe they're gonna make it a little further... If he has to tell them, convince them, the he's indestructible, that's what he'll do... and he'll do his best from here on out to make sure the rest of them think they're indestructible, as well.

And, yeah... hide the good china and the guest towels if Murph and Amber buy the farm... Here come the Bickersons.

wow

Good googly-moogly, what a post!

I forewarn you, now: the GM is getting impatient, and is ready for somthing to happen.

Loving the military demeanor. Might keep these folks alive for another couple of blocks!

For what it's worth...

...I'm perfectly fine with the general consensus as to take the car or leave the car and also fine with the GM fleshing any of that out as he sees fit if everyone else just wants to post their opinions here.

Honestly, as good as the thought of having transportation might sound, Murph's thinking leave the car for now and just get to that Save Rite...

Rather reluctantly...

But Amber would agree with that assessment. Leaving the car and walking past the crash site (*shiver*) is where she would lay her chips.

fluff

Glad you all enjoyed that fluff so much.

I also have another char concept that i wish i had used in the beggining... I mean a thirteen year old kid would be fun to play in this even though the penalty rolls would be massive. XD

And i really have to thank Meri and Eol for the fluff I have the both of them to thank for my improvement here even if it's only a little bit of improvement hope we play some other RP games together guys.

Well thanks for the compliment.

And honestly you've come a long way in just a week so far. I'm impressed. And yeah... I'm sure we will (gladly) bump into each other in other games (well once I start getting into more of them again that is... but I will get back into the full swing again someday).

Indeed...

...I'm honored and humbled that you attribute any of your 'growth' as an RPer to anything I've done... all i do here, dude, is let my multiple personality disorder run riot, you know? So, like Meri has already said, thanks for the compliment.

All that aside, we on the staff at RDI are kind of on staff here for that exact reason, you know... Take the 'newbies' under our wing, show them the ropes, help them improve, etc... and, as such, we're always glad to help out where we can (whether it's as simple as "how do I navigate the forums, where do I post this" to as complex as "I have no clue how to even start doing the PbP business, could you give me some pointers, help me develop a character, etc"). So, never be timid about asking if we can give you some direct input or assistance and, I guess, since it's working for you so far, don't hesitate to 'learn by osmosis' either...

You're doing great, Malek! keep it up, bud!

Eol- not every silence means impending death... Although with the sadistic way of our DM i think you should continue banging your head till it does this
