Haha!!

Wow just got around to reading this, and some of y'alls posts would have earned your characters deathes in my games

And just read Mac and Alaster's post, wow, now I'm scared of Alaster's feelings for Em e.e

But wow, monster collab, I feel so important And by the way Murph, leaving Emily would not be reasonable, because then you lose all your medical knowledge and are screwed if something gets infected or you need a diagnosis. Just saying And the DM agrees xDD

be patient Gruggster

I realize you live up in the frigid north... but here in America it's a holiday weekend. We've been busy stuffing our faces with braut's and drinking down soda and beer.

We'll get the plot moving again soon.

Good idea or bad...

...Murph wouldn't leave anyone behind... not if he could help it anyway...

correction

MOST americans stuffed their faces. I work for a living i havent eaten since like noon today.

Oh and on Alasters feelings don't worry I have a plan for this. If all goes right Alaster meeting his death will be an epic ending to his life hopefully with some nice dramatic music. Don't worry for his sake.

Just to clarify...

...Murph's thoughts/reflections on leaving Emily behind, etc, were prompted by Kramer's comments regarding what "surviving" all of this might entail (the "every man for himself" kind of thing, you know?)... not any thoughts that he was actually considering.

As noted in post, Murph "made promises" to each of the folks from O'Brian's Basement and he plans on keeping those promises as best he can. He's not going to do anything "stupid"... say if Alaster freaks out and wades into a horde of zombies when the better/safer option is to run, Murph would likely let the poor, troubled guy meet his end on his own in favor of getting everyone else to keep moving. On the other hand, if our little group was running from a pack of flesh eaters and Emily or Amber took a tumble, Murph would stop, haul them to their feet (or sling them over a shoulder as the case may be) and try to keep on truckin'...

Also...

...even though the plan is to follow Kramer to his hidey-hole, that doesn't mean that Murph's opposed to looting the hardware store before we start moving.

You know...

Eol's post count wouldn't be nearly so high if he could finish a thought in a post instead of using three posts to get his point across.

I can edit any time I want to...

...I've just gotten in the habit of going the new post route to stay ahead of the posting game updates.

You aren't the only one who can edit...
...Grugg can too!

okay

Since I haven't heard a real plan otherwise, I'm going to have the party move to the hardware store next. I will point out that you need to address the food issue somehow - either by raiding Treasure Island, moving on to the other grocery store, discussing the isue with Steve, whatever.

Remember, you guys left the basement due to hunger, first and foremost.

My two bits...

...we leave Save Rite, hit the Hardware store and see what we can do about some weaponry, tools, maybe some more durable clothing/footwear if available... then *gulp* try the grocery store before following Steve to the "safe place".

okay

Now hear this: Ace is a small neighborhood harware store. Expect to find common tools and utensils here. Do not expect to find everything you might locate at, say, a Home Depot or a Lowes.

Send me your "shopping lists", I'll let you know if anything you desire cannot be found here.

Hardware Store

Thanks for moving us on...

And lets see... shopping list for hardware store.

Well although it makes me sad to let go of the 'Hollywood' look Amber's got going on a real pair of pants would be good, painter's bibs, coveralls, jeans... whatever they might have that would protect her currently rather bare legs...

Ohhh... and an ax... or perhaps a smaller hatchet (she's not that big/strong, flexible yes... strong no).

She'll leave the rest of the 'tools' up to the boys.
She got what she needed in the pharmacy

okay

Clothing is going to be a pretty much no-go. They have work gloves in several varieties, and they have clear plastic coveralls (for painting), but no actual clothing. No shoes, no boots, either. Sorry, guys.

Amber can get an axe or a hatchet. Note that she *is* plenty strong enough to effectively use an axe. Yes, she might get tired swinging it a lot, but it's available and usable. Let me know which you want.
