LOL @ dradels...

I think you mean dowels, mal.

Also, I think we're set with a wheelbarrow or garden cart type thing in order to move our unconscious friend... only need one person to move a body in a wheelbarrow... need two to carry a stretcher.

Aaaand, I've been informed that Emily recommends treating Mac's injury before he gets moved, at all, so, given the medical expertise, it looks as if the plan is:

1) Emily treats Mac while the rest of us stand guard and/or pilfer the hardware store for any other items we might want/need there.

2) When Mac is stitched up and everyone else's boo-boos are addressed, we load Mac up and move across the street to get some grub

3) If we don't get munched before, during, or immediately after items 1 and 2, we form up and make for the harbor.

Plan?

plan

Tis a good plan. I waqs just saying if we did lug them over before they got their medical attention a wheelbarrow might make mac sit at a position where his wounds reopen. Good plan though.

Im ready to die or live

So as grugg put it, I can't really give much input, so I'm in for whatever yall decide. I know Merideth voiced Amber's opinion on candy bars but Mac did stuff some candy and energy bars in each pack (along with some water and sports drinks). We've just been too busy with getting armed, Zombies, and Axe wielding maniacs turned zombies to really get the chance to slightly stave off hunger.

so anyone got the munchies?

I recall

Which is why we don't need any more.

Getting everyone hopped up on sugar and nothing of substance will just cause a major crash later on that might be worse than coming off anything Amber's got stashed in her bag.

Neat how the human body refuses to run properly when sugar is the only source of fuel given to it.

Protien, some source of complex carbs (ie whole grain) and some fruits or veggies would be our best bet for foods right now.

Graiiiiiiiinnnnnnsssss!!!!!

Another added benefit of whole grains - according to the commercials I've seen lately, anyway - is that they make your backside look really good in last year's jeans.

And then...

you end up with a seamonkey...

Maybe we should reconsider the whole grains.

Umm...

Emily does actually have supplies needed to stich someone up right?

String of some sort and a needle? Or are we going to have to use Malek's idea and just duct tape him up...?

Well...

...fishing line works in a pinch as far as sutures go... (used fishing line and an upholstery needle to stitch up a boo-boo I once had and it held pretty well, anyway. The scar's not exactly pretty but it did work)...

Anyhoo... even a rinky-dink neighborhood hardware store should have a roll or three of fishing line wouldn't ya think?

umm... ow!

But yes... we can hope, or that she picked up something back at the drugstore...

There are always staple guns too...

Did anyone pick up a tetnas (sp?) shot?

Ohhh... went ahead with a little fluff of my own. Looks like someone recognizes the Father.

I think as long as we're all on agreement with the plan we should be good for a GM postage to let us know how Mac is doing at least.

okay

No tetanus shot, sorry.

Mac is stitched, folks. Shall I post again, and move you to the grocery store, or do you want a crack at it?

Tiamat - Emily was successful in treating the wound; provided Mac doesn't suffer any more trauma to the area, do anything too strenuous with it, or get an infection, he'll be okay. The morphene will make him sleepy, so you get to sit out posting for a bit longer, it would seem.

I'm cool with...

...a GM/Narrator bump if everyone else is... Probably have some bits and pieces I can work in there for Murph... Convos with Teddy and Alaster, worried looks in Amber, Emily, and Mac's direction, gathering the wheelbarrow, and rolling the troupe out, etc... but I wouldn't be terribly upset if you moved us along, either, boss.

mkay

Unless I have a compelling argument to the contrary, I'll be bumping the story forward tomorrow.
