Hmm

Kithran, Samuel and Sara

Add an 'I' in there and you get 'kiss' for an abbreviation

As for that scene...

Sara: *while she's distracted tidying things up, she waters Kithran more*

Kithran: Ack! What was that for?

Sara: Just keeping you watered *gives a giggle and smiles, before giving Kithran a hug* my dear wildflower

Kithran: *mumbling* I'm not a plant...!

Ahaha

Awww, plant nicknames?! Hmmm, now why is that so familiar? ^___^

So sweet

And nice call on the K.S.S. abbreviation! Kith may or may not be impregnated so maybe we'll have a bouncing baby death bringer named . . . Isabelle or something

Or a dog. A dog is probably better.

EDIT: Oh . . . how are Kazari with dogs?

LOL

Kazari do fine with dogs. In fact, they find them quite tasty.

Oh . . . uh

Maybe a kitten named Big Kithran.

It doesn't match the KISS motif, but it did make me

Hahaha!!!

Little Kitten, Big Kithran! I see what you did there!

*slaps knee*

*snorts*

Anyhoo... in all seriousness, Ch'dau would probably do alright with a dog around... the dog might have a problem but Sammy'd be like "Whatever, dog. You are not even snack sized."

"Why is Icabod whimpering . . . SAMUEL WHAT DID YOU DO?!?!?!!?"

IRL I'm slowly obtaining all the doggy things to adopt my own doggo! So excited!  Hopefully no Kazari try to intimidate my good good boy or girl

Also thinking up names for him/her!

Idle ponderings

Sara may have a bone cutting knife rather than a metal one, for cutting herbs and such. I can't help but wonder if she might never pick up a metal blade again...

Too hard to say... that will entirely depend on things still unwritten... Though I can see the outcome, I can't be sure of the exact way it plays out, and the way it happens is what will shape Sara's psyche...

If we need to split off of the ending of HC, the first post should detail exactly where and how we branch off of that timeline

Yes

I'm with you there re the start of Recovery. There's so many ways HC could end poorly, I am up for a little retconning if need be.

Stuff and junk and thaaaaangs...

Firstly - collab post is up and away.

Second - agreed. I'm all good with a bit of retconning if things go any worse in HC. The more we discuss the posibilities, the more interested I become in playing it out, sooo... *grin*... And, yeah, I'm gonna have to see exactly how things end in HC before I decide the precise mindset Ch'dau might have in the aftermath... and depending "how far down the road" we pick up, too, would hvae some bearing.

Pondering your ponderings

First: had a big long afternoon and evening and your guys' collab post was so nice and sweet and comforting to read at the end of it. Beautiful work

Secondly: "Samuel will be there, kibibi."

Thirdly: re retconning and setting up recovery, yeah, still lots of things to figure out here, but I've been enjoying thinking about Kith's future as well--whether we go forward with the end of HC or choose a different path.

Wildflower is up for it either way.

Even if we do decide to skip ahead, I'd like to do a scene or two immediately post-HC, if you two are also up for it. I imagine it'll be a bit dark and painful (like my cold cold heart *stares out the window at the Seattle rain*), but then so much sweeter the redemption. If it seems like too much mentally/emotionally though, we can skip over it, juuuuust spit-balling over here

Fourth . . . ly: any takers for getting us over that damn wall?!

Fifthly: You're both super cool, good night!

Volunteering as tribute

15ft wall? Perhaps this is a good time for Kith and Ch'dau to have their first, Kithy-launching-off-of-cat-man moment hmmmm

Also yes! She's going to feel pretty good thinking she's FINALLY gotten something passed Ara haha

Finally home!

Shopping with wifey is always an expedition!

Anyhoo, as to the wall - I had a few options in mind:

  1. Kithy-launching-off-the-cat, of course, was one that first came to mind
  2. Also considered just having Ch'dau show off those kazari leaping/climbing abilities but am partial to the Kith option
  3. We toss the Cidal... which could be just as fun, I think, but, again, The Kith/Ch'dau Fastball special may even surpass that.

I'm up for any of the above, tbh, and will start scrawling us out a post soon, so, if either of you have a preference or other suggestions, let me know.
