I hear ya!

I've had some fun playing to Ch'dau's stats, actually... as I've mentioned before, it's not often that I've found myself in the skin of a straight up fighter like Ch'dau, so adapting to being a rage-monster from my usual comfort zone of sneaky-stabby rogue or reach-out-and-touch-someone-from-a-distance ranger has been interesting.

FWIW, I think you play to Kith's stats pretty darn well. It's not as if she's really tried to charm anyone out of their belongings, after all.

Haha true

She did persuade the pants off that dude in the cellar for Ch'dau, but that guy was also SUPER grateful she found that suuuper expensive wine of his that she had stolen earlier. Super.

And thanks! I love playing her (she's in many ways just a way way WAY cooler version of me, and I'm a narcissist... you've seen my FB... so of course I love her), and I really enjoy how you two play Ch'dau and Ara. They're all very distinct, intricate characters who share a need for companionship with people who will accept them for the weirdos they are, and find that acceptance in each other, and I really like that sentiment. At least that's how I like to look at it.

Okay now, let's see if I can get this post finished....

I think you're just fine

Personally I've always viewed stats as an 'average'. If you're a 15 cha you can still have 8 cha moments, etc.

No one person is one way all the time.

Just how I feel about it anyway

Yeah

That makes sense. I like that. I'll think of it that way.

Mah post

Oky doky, I'm putting my post in the collab doc (KCandK Scene - The Den of the Slitch) because I took a lot of liberties with everyone--PCs, NPCs, slitches, witches, undead, the whole shebang. Add, revise, cut what you see fit.

Admittedly, I have a difficult time getting into your baddies' heads, so I do suspect you two will likely want to add a little from them here and there. And I definitely can't guess what is happening inside Saerenwen's head, so inner diaglogues and priorites I leave to you to confirm/revise as you see fit.

Some notes:

Mosic's first spell was Beacon of Hope which gives advantage on saves, including death saves, and lets you regain the max healing possible when being healed. He followed that up with a Healing Word for Ch'dau, seeing as how he had taken the brunt of the bone spikes.

He also used his last channel to destroy undead when he got the chance.

Ch'dau was held with a Hold Person. Even with advantage on the initial casting, our big cat man failed . By the second time I rolled for him, I imagined Mosic had dropped Beacon of Hope, losing concentration after taking a few hits. Ch'dau still failed his second attempt... I'm sorry buddy, I swear I used my good dice! He did finally succeed, so by the end of the post he's free to do as he pleases

I expect everyone will be pretty roughed up at this point, and I believe all of your baddies, including Tecla, have some more tricks up their sleeves, so I'll leave that to you after I get your updates and post-post this bad boy.

Alrighty, have at it!

YES!!!

That was a fantastic scene, Little Kitten! Bravo!

Got a definite idea as to where to go with a follow-up buuuuut, it'll have to wait for just a little bit. Wifey wants to go do some shopping and such so I've got some running around to do before I can settle in and start writing. Shouldn't take more than a couple of hours and I imagine I'll be able to have something posted by this evening. See you all then!

That was still mostly you

You still brought it all together, Breebles

I only added a bit of Morgana and a bit of Sae

Speaking of which, does Kithran like Morgana's undivided attention?

LOL

Terribly sorry to have kept you awake, kibibi!

Ch'dau is free of the spell and is FURIOUS, now. Post is coming along and should be ready to go in just a bit. In the meantime, the Ch'dEinar conversation has wrapped over in Aftermath if you're looking for something to entertain your brain.

Okay, so Adedre and Tecla's bit came to me first and, since there didn't seem to be an easy transition between that and what I've got in mind for Ch'dau, I decided to split it into two posts. Part 1 is up... now for a bite to eat and then back to Chdau...
