Posting conventions...

To maintain a bit of "continuity" (not to mention helping myself and everyone else keep track of what's happening where) during the game, I'd like to carry over the posting conventions used in Discovery to Cerberus. It's really pretty simple stuff:

Begin your posts with the stardate/time and character's location. You don't have to use "real" stardates... accepted format is YYYY.MM.DD.

Example:
Stardate: 2374.08.16 - 0830 hours
USS Cerberus- Deck 1 -Captain's Ready Room

Computer and Communicator conversations are typically flanked by =/\\=.

Example:
...MacTavish tapped his commbadge; "Where are ye, Mester Rrowl? These fargin' fighters'll no' wait all bloody day fer ye ta get ta Tactical!"

=/\\=Acknowledged,=/\\= the kzinti's responded, =/\\=I am on my way, sir.=/\\=

And that's the "major" stuff... there may be more, but I can't think of it rightoff the top of my head... watch for updates.

an addendum...

...if you are planning to follow the format we used in discovery, cap'n, you might want to point out that a character's inner thoughts should be set aside in italics:
What the heck is going on? johnson wondered.

Also, no crazy font color changes. Keeps things from looking like a christmas tree.

Gavison should certainly have made captain by now.

Faunny

That reminds of a rather inappropriate comment that I could say but won't.

It vaguely references beastiality among a few other things. Best not mention it.
