Talon

DM & Bri, For the sake of your MACO's careers, they might not want to get involved in this one. Thanks for the offer to stand up for Talon though, but that might come later.

TCatt - Might want to wait till I post for Talon, he hasnt exactly accept the Captain's punishment yet. While he has dropped the Stan situation, he still believes he hasnt committed any insubordination and wants to prove it.

Besides, he really doesnt want to have to listen to Rrowl at all, that is the worst punishment.

Bri

Okay my post was only for clarification that the formal request that I made was acted on and dimissed. It did that because I as the player had not actually posted my formal report. I just needed to know that the higher ups took her formal report under consideration when they decided to let the matter drop.

I know Eol and Brom want Stan off the hook. I understand that. Brianna/me, just needs knows that her report was considered and dropped. She will do her part though she may never "like" the man, Stan, but the decision was made by those in authority and she respects that. The MACO Gunny. her twin is a little more volatile. Which is why she is currently a Gunny. (DM play too many Paladins and Favored Souls especially those to Tyr.)

Since I, the player, never actually posted that she made the formal report, only hinting that she would. I wanted to make sure that it was that that was considered and dismissed. That is all.

OK

My last post was tongue and cheek, backdoor humor and had nothing to do with the game persay.

Its all good.

I'm actually looking forward to YeOlde's post. I stirred that pot a bit on purpose with Kel's reaction.

There ya go...

Ok.. I have posted.. though it may not be the one most will expect.. but knowing Talon by now maybe it isn’t too unexpected. But at least he isn’t yelling at anyone.

I want everyone to know I did discuss the potential action he might take and both GMs indicated that this sort of action would not distract from the major course of the adventure therefore I have taken it. Hope it doesn’t spoil anyone’s fun… well maybe spoil Rrowl’s fun.. but then Kzinti’s arent really fun anyway so…..

Notes and stuff...

Bri - Brianna's compalint about Stan will be noted and acknowledged (not ignored). While Crewman Stowbrieski's actions may reasonably be 'justified' as the actions of a panicked man swept up in the confusion and chaos of a starship gone critical that doesn't mean that there wouldn't be some sort of consequences for him... thing is - and this is the point I've been trying to make in regards to Stan all along - it doesn't matter what Starfleet or even ship security might do or consider doing to Stan for his actions because, quite frankly, Stan is very likely to 'disappear' before anything can be done. You see, it's not a matter of 'Eol and Brom wanting Stan off the hook" , it's a matter of "Stan" having a specific and key role in this adventure being able to move forward. This cannot happen if Stan's in the brig, the object of an investigation or inquest, or otherwise under 'intense scrutiny'...

I've decided to 'steal some time' that I should be using for other things today in order to get a post written/finalized for Mac... and Stan... that should bring the 'What about Stan' thing to a screeching halt soon, anyway... then we'll all be back to wondering 'whodunnit' . With a bit of luck (and some 'jump about' where backposts are concerned) we'll be nudging forward by tomorrow.

EDIT: Just re-read this and realized that it could be interpreted as me being 'snarky' or 'snotty'. FYI that is not how any of that was intended. Just reinforcing that in the "grand scheme" Stan's disposition/fate/whathaveyou is going to essentially be a non-issue. Apologies to anyone who may have taken offense, there.

Not snarky

for me either

I just wanted to know the facts of the matter. Sorry if mine sounded like I ws saying something about what GMs "wanted", I didn't mean that to come off that way either. The problem was I didn't post a post "officially" saying I put in report on Stan, therefore when you wrote the post mentioning that matters had been review and dismissed by "Star Fleet" higher ups that it did include my report

Great posts

Grest post fom Sal and YeOlde. I am really enjoying them.

Unfortunately the Romulans have been stopped by the fact that Lt. Kennedy the only liaison person we have to deal with in the docking bay where we are held has not responded in over a week. Is there a way we Romulans can make a formal protest/complaint against this treatment. We have no food no water, no place for personal necessities and the only person we have that we can communicate with hasn't been available to us.

Ha ha!

I missed something there. I'll try and get something in place for Kennedy concerning that by tomorrow. My apologies.

Thanks

S'Talon was about to lodge a formal protest, and still might. Also, S'Talon had requested a meeting with Lt Nash about the Centurion.
