my two cents
DM will have to decide when Tess speaks versus Angela's progress in her current trajectory I have a few possible reactions in mind depending on when things go down. I'll let the DM know so he can include in his post.
As for everyone knowing and shouting out trigger words, I figure that if you didn't go back and find them in the Q&A, before you posted, then you may know them, but they didn't come to mind before you reacted. We are all human, after all I like how Tess handled it, for the record...could simply come across as one of her quirky expressions Tess is fond of throwing around.
As for having been around long enough to know...I guess that is something we haven't determined who knows what besides Grace. I would hope that you wouldn't use the command to knock her out lightly as it would reveal those words in front of people we know not to trust, and having Angela wake up with no memory in front of strangers with guns may also not be fun for all.

Grace share?????
No. Grace did not share the commands for Angela with anyone. Not even the captain. Grace sees the commands as a matter of human rights and would not share them. My mistake if I mis-lead people.
So Tess does not have the commands to give.

??????.....
Ok.. from your setup post back when Angela came on board and Grace read the info she decided she had to contact Jon. So I took from that that Grace told Jon. And Grace, Tess and John are partners..so they share....and to help Angela they told Steph...who brought in Catie to help her, but hasn't had time to work with her to help Angela.
So Grace knows..Jon knew and Tess knew the command words.
I had Tess use the learning command to save Seth. That can be changed later. The "Schools out"... was not an option as Van discribed so I didn't have Tess use for those same reasons. And I had Tess slip it in in her sarcastic style so it would not be obvious to anyone except Grace.
Van I'll try to work in pm a bit more with you for the Tess and Jon stuff with Angela. I won't post surprises any more.

My error
I wrote the intro on my own without input from Mmv. When I discussed it with her, she made a very clear argument that she would not share the commands. So my mistake. As I said, I apologize for misleading anyone.

So...
I guess I need to rewrite the post? Angela does seem to respond to Tess when she gives her an order, so I guess I could have her just call out something like "Angela.. wait!!"
But I still think Grace would have shared.

Well actually...
Grace would have told you about what she had been told but she would not have shared the command words. The way Grace see it, those commands take away Angela's free will. She must obey those orders regardless of who gives them. That would make it very easy for someone to misuse or abuse the condition that Angela is in.
So to protect Angela from that threat, Grace has kept those commands to herself and also rarely uses them. I can believe that maybe if Grace has says certain ones often enough that maybe Jon and Tess have a vague idea that it's like a command but Grace has not told them "If you want Angela to do this, all you have to say is ...."

I can Understand That....
I guess I was feeling it would be more of warning to be careful.
"Schools Out" is not an uncommon phase.
But we (Jon and Tess) can work with that.

Post Fixed....
I edited the post to remove the use of the command and just having Tess trying to sound like she's giving an order.

Language
The commands would have to be given like commands. So if school is our came in conversation it would not trigger Angela. The other aspect is what language?
Even if you did all have the commands, there is a girl shrieking, brothers shouting and all sorts of noise that will cancel out speaking.
I think that everyone is doing their roles just fine. I did not expect Angela to attack but it is within character.

I Like It.........
The more I think about it the more I like the idea of only Grace knowing. It would not be fair to Van either to have others able to make her character do things. Too temping.
Just like not putting words and actions in our post for other player characters.

Layers like an onion
Some of you who've gamed with me a while know I like to explore themes through the character. With Willow, it's the multtiple facets of love and honour, with Dapple the alienation of being different ( and monstrous)' etc.
Angela looks like she's shaping up to be an exploration of free will and character - can you have either if you were designed to be whatever your masters needed you to be? I
I'm looking forwars to figuring this out with all of you, and I must say I was surprised and proud of MMV's take on the use of Angela's command words.

As For Angela..........
Are we going to work more of the Med side in? Steph trying figure more on that thing on Angela's neck? Like xray it to see what might be its stucture. It would be cool to develop an input to reboot information instead of having read notes every moring.
I know that's a GIANT leap but still we can start to explore.

there is a lot to explore
Certainly you can examine and start to explore the mystery that is Angela. I really do not want to be the one driving that through an NPC (Stephanie) which is why I brought Catie onboard.
It will not be an instant reveal. Clues and hints will be dropped but it is a lot like River meets Dollhouse meets Cybersix with some Matrix thrown in.
