I normally declare a break over the holidays as we are all busy but I hope to use some of my time to catch up with all my games, make a post or two and get the games moving.

I posted back on November 23rd and so far have only one post. I have two playerless characters in the game already.

Is it time to call this game dead?

Enough with the jokes! As the only person that posted I want the game to continue. I'm tired of having good games fizz because no one posts. We all made a commitment to play in Destiny so the holidays are over get the hell up to your comps and post. Hell if I can post with everything I'm facing this year then everyone else can.

Jon has situation going with the security closing in. I'm a little short on ideas but I'll get something up.

After a conversation today with Vanadia and Mmv, both ladies have decided to drop out of both Rocinante and Destiny and I have to say that I agree with their reasoning. Writing posts for online games is not the priority in our lives that it used to be. To spent the time on it when we are busy with school, work, and life - it is getting harder and harder to put in the time required.

So Destiny and Rocinante are probably done. We played Roc for more than nine years and completed three story lines.

I want to thank all the players for all the time and effort in both games.

No thought to adding new players? I could ask my Trilogy players see if I can get a few to join Rocinante or Destiny or both. I know of 1, rt now that I'm almost 80% sure would join. I also know of 1-2 more that could maybe be interested.

2015 brought a lot of changes to my life. I am more physically active now and that takes a lot of my limited leisure time. I am down 5 lbs now, and looking at running a race in April which takes training and time.

Gaming online has been a great bit of fun over the years but frankly, it has lost its lustre. I am tired of chasing players and trying to find replacements. Considering I have to put hours of work per game - I long longer see the payoff.

So I will keep WWII and CWWLL02 going for as long as the players remain. But the end of the Serenity era has come.

I know I was one of those that pushed to bring back Destiny. It was quietly fading away and I selfishly begged to bring it back. I love your way of story telling and to me Destiny was a story needing the telling. But I am not the great teller of stories. I wasn't even one of the original player, I took over for Grugg to play Jon.

I know about real life and that this is just entertainment. I am now on the far side of my working years and my children are grown. Finances limit outside activities so the Inn became a way to escape on the cheap.

I had always been self-conscious about my writing because I am a poor speller and fight dyslexia. Often what I think I see that I've written isn't what is really there. Roger you have given me a wonderful time to fight through that to explore my imagination. So Thank You.

Now I get it that you are finding other ways to fill your entertainment needs and to enjoy the wonderful family you have. I am very happy that you are discovering these joys. You and your family deserve it.

So I will make the most of the time I get to share with you here and when it comes time to move on I will be richer for it.

Now I need to get a post up for Doc. We have a weird war to fight.

Well maybe Jon will split his share between Tess and Grace after his honeymoon with Steph. J.C. can work his deal Tess and Grace or he can come work for Jon and Steph as they set up a flying medical unit for the outer planets.
