Topic: An Open World 3.5e D&D Adventure Starring YOU!!!
Subject: I Can Adapt.

Out of the five of us, I've yet to firmly cement a role. I can make a sneaky little rogue/fighter/invisible hand/master thrower. If we need some sneaking. I could also get my divinity on! However, I can't thoroughly do both. So from what I saw we may be missing one or the other. Somebody else may have to step into it.

Fair enough. That certainly adds to my own savage incentive.

Subject: My Character

I'm still cleaning out the bugs in my head. Right now I'm looking very seriously at a nasty green barbarian, or perhaps a mounted halfling druid/ranger... I noticed Jozan was a paladin, and he's probably going to be mounted. And It looks like Padro is a savage... so I'm still deliberating.

I will await other thoughts on the matter, as I shall require a bit of rest. I would however like to say that my favourite adventuring parties are usually those that don't call themselves adventurers. That said, I shant hold it against anyone if we become an exploratory team, on a mission for Ungan gold in jungles teeming with half-crazed green tusked men!

Consider this my letter of acceptance. It will be an honour to rip up Grugg's very intricately assembled playdium. I'm looking forward to typing it up with all you fine people yet again.

Topic: Question 2ed to 3.5
Subject: The Savage

I suppose the question is, what are the advantages of a savage warrior? I ask because a disciplined combatant is already just a fighter. If the savage only uses primitive weaponry there are supplements for it. I haven't taken a good look into the variants for classes in 3.5, but I believe I've seen variants in the pathfinder srd. I'll take a peek at it and see if I can't cross reference anything. It is suffice to say that there are some feats that could be replaced for a savage warrior. For instance heavy armour could be taken out and perhaps replaced with tracking. Tower shield could be taken away for perhaps two more skill boosts and a few new class skills.

Anyhow, it's likely what I'd be looking at.

Hey guys. Hope your holidays are treating you well. I'm going to wait until after New Years to update, thought I'd let you know, just so you don't feel as if I've abandoned you. Have a blast welcoming in 2013! Also, hopefully our friend the King shall make it back to us before my next update.

The short and long of it. Yes. They do exist. Typically it has to do with the bluff skill. And yes. Skeletons are immune to mind affecting spells, but calling him a chicken wing could be quite the piss off. This guy is far from mindless after all, and thus there is also an ego within. So he could be insulted. That in mind, bluffing isn't the best class skill for a Cavalier. Haha.

I knew you were going to do this. I just thought my bad boy would stop you first. Now I have to try and extrapolate rules for a hanging. Haha.

Alright. The skeleton sunk his teeth in this time. Malagaar took 13 damage. 9 slashing, 4 fire. Canicus took 6 damage. Malagaar managed to inflict 4 damage on the skeleton as well.

Other than that, there were a lot of misses. And Arimm was pretty sneaky, considering the circumstance bonuses against stealth were monumentally high. Grumbles. No flaming rogue yet. Haha.

Hey guys. Going to update sometime this weekend. As for the Skeleton's "courage". He actually is supposed to be a BAMF. Haha.

Is only a human skeleton. Normal sized. What made him out to be bigger?

Subject: Come and Take a Seat by the Fire

Ah. My first character. His name was Bogru Dagsteeth. He was a Half-Orc Barbarian. His mother had been an Orc, though whom his father had been was a mystery to him. His mother had died in child birth, in the woods. A family of farmers heard his cries and took him in, though as a servant, and not a son. As he came of age he became quite embittered by his role, and, wielding one of the sledge hammers from the barn, massacred the family with but one exception. The little boy that would call him "Bogru". It was a better name than "Slave". The kid had gotten it from tales of the boogey man. The Half-Orc had rather liked it.

After freeing himself from his bonded life, he set out on a journey to more fully understand his heritage. This is where he found a tribe of Orcs in the foothills beyond the little farm in the forest. The tribe treated him with suspicion at best, disdain at worst. The chieftain was particularly unfond of Bogru, and challenged him to a duel. Bogru smashed his face in with a rock, and so became an honorary tribesman. He learned how to speak orcish, and banded together with a few other orcs. Khorgrim, a powerful cleric, Throg, an axe weilding fighter, and Llammoch, a cutthroat
thief.

Together they had many adventures, one particularly important one was when they raided a keep, and after taking out the family inside, had Bogru become Lord of the lands surrounding it. Hence, Lord Bogru was born!

Lord Bogru named his Keep Doomstone. He began to gather tribes of Orcs under his banner. Using them to expand his borders, "The Orc Lords" began war with human lands.

There was a whole bunch of other things, including a tussle with a vampire that destroys his soul, and a demon that torched his entire body. In both cases he was survived in some arcane way. In the end he became a Revenant, who led the remnants of his army against the Capital.

The legend of Bogru is one of my favorite to date.

You would be painfully aware that this shield belongs to the order. That would likely spark suspicion. However you likely wouldn't know for sure until further inspection.

Okay. Malagaar and Canicus attacked the skeleton head on, and Arimm snuck around the backside. Istanius took up the rear guard, to ensure the witch was unharmed. Two attacks hit. Unfortunately Canicus was the only one to harm the creature. Good luck guys. Have fun with this one.

Unfortunately, the website you wish to buy your stuff at is in Portuguese. You end up buying some unsavory things, and grandma gets stuck with a 'back massager'.

Rolls to see if his prayers are answered.

Hey guys. In the interest of progression I'll probably move the game forward to the battle with the tactical information I've been given sometime this weekend. There was an unanswered layout question remaining from Arimm intended for Malagaar, and a request for plan confirmation by Istanius, but I've been given a basic layout of your plan of attack thus far, so I'll begin updating. IF any of you would like to tie up loose ends no worries. I'll probably hold the post until Sunday. Want to get into the temple some day soon.

Actually. You'd have to ask Malagaar. I'll give him the details in a pm. Haha. Gives more reason for role play.

Indeed, the longer the ritual remains undone, the more the men of Alaron suffer.

Alright. Threw in a little banter, and a request for an action plan. Just so I know what you guys are going to do without guessing or bringing about ad hoc insanity.
