Topic: Season of the Witch
Subject: I was here the whole time I promise

From the shadows Igni watched as the group began to form. Iguess this is really going to happen. I just hope we don’t regret our decision. Igni thought with a sigh. The hour was almost upon the party where they would need to be off. However it was never easy trusting anyone, and even less so when one had spent their lives losing everyone they came into contact with, as Igni had. Perhaps their gods are real as mine is not. I hope the misfortune of having me in their party does not result in their demise. He stood watching the interaction of the elf and the girl willing himself to move and yet going nowhere. I always knew I would have to leave but I never figured anyone might go with me. A mission huh? Igni fingered the stone key in his hands. There is guaranteed to be dangers within Gurit-Marnairan. That territory was once a virtual warzone between my people and the gnolls. I’m sure the gnolls have not abandoned it. I just hope that this time my power is strong enough to protect these fools. I can’t stand filing again! Igni’s hand clenched around the stone tablet and he began to move even as the fighter woman joined the forming party. Ah our would be leader. The closer Igni came to the gathering the more his performing mask slipped over his fears and doubts.

“Greetings, all.” Igni exclaimed as he came within twenty feet of the party. “Glad you could make it. We still seem to be missing two of our party, should we wait? Ah yes I am Igni Stonelighter Dwarven Bard Extrodinaire!” With a flourish of a bow Igni looks at the three gathered, “Who may I ask are you?”

Not picking you buddy, however I would like to point out a tip about copying from another post. We all copy from other posts but because your post is in your character's perspective there's usually a few changes that should be observed. For example you copied my thoughts onto your post. Such things should be taken out. Another thing to keep in mind is if you haven't referred to the character that's speaking recently you should change where the original poster put 'he' or 'she' into their character name. For example if the original poster put

"That's ok." he said after a moment's thought.

When copying the speech if this character isn't the last subject to do anything you should change it to

"That's ok." Girted said after a moment's thought.

It makes it easier on us reading to know who's talking.

Subject: Ok fellow players

It's my experience that a party lives longer if they proceed continually reassessing the facts they've learned. I play with a lot of killer DM's, which is why I'm such a pain in the tooshie player. So to that note before I post I want to get out as much from the little hints given (such as the sense motive check) and in order to do that I wanted to run by you guys all the information we currently have, so I can see what info the merchant might possibly be hiding from us. So we know or at least have inferred and assumed...

The kidnapping of Jocelyn was in fact the purpose of the raid.

Bringing Jocelyn along was not the norm for the merchant. which means...

This raid was a carefully planned and not random attack. Implying...

Someone knew this trip would be different than any of the others. Allowing us to conclude that...

Said someone is either known by the merchant as a close friend or has been spying on the merchant. We can be sure the said someone had personal contact with the merchant instead of handling just his paperwork because the merchant wouldn't have had a reason to state he was bringing Jocelyn with him on the paperwork.

Aryn has had frequent dealings in Illuria yet he's never seen the capital.

The attackers were soldiers of Illuria which implies governing nobility involvement or fake uniforms.

The only person Aryn know of is Eryk Valasin.

And he isn't admitting to any enemies.

Did I miss any facts?

Virif watched the reactions of the party closely. With one traitor who knows what others there might be. These reactions seemed genuine, which relaxed Virif's vigil just a little. On the other hand if I can't trust my comrades then my task is inevitably doomed. One of the many lessons one picks up in military school.

"Is there any reason your daughter would have to be unhappy? Does she have any contacts that she would have told about the rip? Comrades that have ill will to either you or her? Have there been warnings or other mishaps before you set out? Do you work for or with anyone of prominence? Is your daughter betrothed?" Thoroughness in an investigation is only achieved by suspecting the victim and the victim's friends or enemies. Another lesson taught in military school. Virif shot each question out barely waiting for a response yet clearly expecting one to be given eventually.

Skeletor. He had the better heroes and a villian is only as good as his heroes...or was that a hero is only as good as his villian?

Which was a better show?
Voltron or Power Rangers?

So you can knock the powder off and just have the chips. Or you can douse them with tequila and triple sec and call them Margarita chips.

They probably use to much lime in the chips. You should order a Grand Golden Margarita next time you're drinking Margaritas.

Where no butty (buddy) has gone before I liked that. It was clever. Tostitos with lime were meant to be eaten while you drink Margaritas. I think it even says so on the package. And of course I wanna know about ninja turkeys. Ninjas are awesome and therefore by comparison ninja anything is awesome. Except maybe a ninja pirate. He would just be a confused individual with a serious crisis of identity.
