Face man
I like Jason, I think Ken and he will get along well.
I have one question, how does the filthy rich pro work out with the dead broke con? Do the y balance out just right?
Welcome aboard.

relationships
It is always a tough balance with a adventuring party or crew of a ship to establish relationship with players who are strangers. So Mysterion's question has merit. There will be bumps at the star tas you all feel each others playing and posting style out.
I would suggest that you go through each member of the crew character's sheet and think how your character would relate to that person? How would they adjust for behaviour, knowing they had to get along? Why would they argue? What would set them off? What would bring them together?
Take Tess and Grace. They are both women, the only two on the ship. Tess is superstitious, friendly and a bit quirky. Grace is twitchy, withdrawn and comfortable with machines. When chips are down they might work well, Grace foreseein gwhat Tess needs and Tess keeping Grace focused. Socially, Tess might be the one to draw Grace out of the engine room, or maybe they feud like sisters with Grace moving Tess's charms and Tess going into Grace's Room.
Don't be afraid to contact the player to establish relationships, just keep me in the loop. This game is really more about the characters than the adventure itself.

Kick Butt andTake Names!
Hey there crew. I will be doing an intro post this weekend! (see Friday at earliest) I apologize for not getting something in sooner, but this week turned out really hectic and exhausting (see car breaking down).
Yup. Prepare for names to be taken.

My apologizes
Its short, but I wanted to get something in. As far as back posting goes for Tess, well, it just didn't fell right. I will be doing plenty of, er, flashbacks, which will include some character development with Destiny. So don't be surprised if you start hearing from me about previous character interactions. *winks*

Interactions eh? Sounds fun!
Nice posts so far everyone; cant wait to get this really rolling. The Serenity/Firefly verse is one of my favorites.

The Filthy Rich Pro and the Dead Broke Con
So, Ken and Jason might have come from different social classes but that doesn't mean they're not both dirt bags. Granted Ken might be rougher around the edges than Jason but both he and Jason enjoy some of the same things...i.e. gambling, and drinking besides who else on the crew is going to spar with him.

Absolutely
Yeah that is the wayI see it. Ken has to have someone to take his money otherwise he wont be dead-broke
Yeah the sparing part was a thought of mine as well. While Ken might be rough and a jerk sometimes, he has shown he cares for the crew and will protect them. That doesnt mean he wont argue with them sometimes much like family is prone to do.

when the chips are down
Guess that means Tess will have to start playing poker, since you both are dead broke. ^_^

My apologies
With two major tests, a major project deadline and three more deadlines added to my pile, I couldn't post during this week. I plan to have my post tonight or tomorrow.

oh yeah!
No worries, MMV. Feel free to post any friendly commentary between Gracie and Tess. I wanted to go there, but I wasn't sure if she would be in the Cantina or back at the ship.
*grins and winks*
