Olan's thoughts for this strip:
Check us out, folks - two updates, in the same week, ON TIME! How about that?

Annick is experimenting some with the art style. In this strip (as well as in #63), she uses some thicker, bolder lines in an effort to help me with the coloring process. I have learned a new technique which makes this unnecessary, so she'll probably go back to a finer line in the future (this gives her more flexibility to finesse things).

As for the story - well, you knew that this would happen. Steve has pitted the party against an opponent that clearly outclasses them. What will happen?

Script for this strip:
Steve (narrator): "The ice haunt uses his frozen power on Faustus, dropping the knight effortlessly."

Steve (narrator): "Aranion manages another slash, but the bladesinger is brutally pummeled in retaliation by the monster."

Ray: "Hurry up and throw that oil, Rich - we need healing if we're going to stay in this!"
Rich: "Are you sure? I don't want to hit anyone..."
Brad: "Of course we're sure! We need more fire or we're dead!"

Amy: "So you guys want me to keep the fire arrows coming?"
Tim: Absolutely!"

Steve (narrator): "Ladan heaves his flask of flaming oil..."
Steve (narrator): ...unfortunately, the throw is off the mark, and the oil does little good. It does splash the heavy curtains, which begin to slowly smolder.

Steve (narrator): "The monster bashes through Aranion's defenses, and the sylvari falls, badly wounded, to the floor."

Steve (narrator): "Both of the party's warriors are down."
