Script for this strip:
In late January of this year, Loaded Dice went
on what was to be a short break. I was headed to Disney World for a family vacation.
We anticipated a two week gap in the comic.

Life had other ideas.

While on vacation, we had a tragic death in our family - my wife's brother passed away at the age of twenty-eight.

My boss was waiting for me
to get home, so that he could
let me know that my job
had been eliminated.

In an effort to ensure my family's survival, I took up very long hours doing contract web
development. With my time and creativity pinched, I had to put the strip on indefinite hiatus.

By the time I was ready to continue, Tiana had taken on too heavy of a load to resume the comic. I bid her the best, and we parted ways.

So, is this the end? Heck, no!
We have a new artist - Lyra Logan will
be taking over all art duties for Loaded dice. Her work looks amazing.
