A seedling to a bush, a shoot, to an oak,

Ages, empires, kingdoms,
Up and down like the rollar coaster they are,
And gone.
In a blink.
Magic to swords, a cart to a horseless carriage,
In a blink.
Yet above it all, in a high, high cave,
The only one to see it pass, waits.
And in that moment when the last child cries,
"There are no dragons!", dissappears.
