I'm really tied up with school work and other things right now. I hope and pray I will have an update in for Tuesday, if I don't, I will be furious. I figured I'd warn everyone now though, while I'm logged in. This game is a priority for me and after I've meted out what I owe for two other games I will be putting together a post for this one.

Hey, same for me. I'm not blaming you Grugg, I owe two posts and an entire character still. Heh.
I did however realize that it may do some good to put up what Tristessa will be doing. She will defend Rose first as she's the most injured, if Rose or the threat cease then Tristessa will turn to either aid Agrin or Kammie if Kammie becomes prone and threatened again.

Thanks a lot for putting up that grid Al, that definitely clears up things for me. I've been mad busy the last couple days, don't mean to hold anybody up. I'll try to put together something that resembles a post as soon as possible, but I can't guarantee anything for the time being, sorry. I will hopefully have one up in a week (plus change)'s time. Again sincere apologies, thank you for the assistance with the map, &c... it is much appreciated.
EDIT: Yep, so still looking for the time to post. Hopefully in a week's time... grrrrrr... So you know Almerin, aside from a character I must create, this game is my priority up here on the site. I will hammer out a post as soon as possible

I owe everyone and particularly Al an apology. This past week and the next have been/will be exceptionally busy and I've barely found the time to join you in the thread. I will certainly try to put together a post worth putting up, sorry about holding everyone back. For now, you can assume Peter is waiting with his sword to charge in and lay the Bugbears low.
EDIT: Yeah... I'm unbelievably busy right now. I, hopefully, will have a post up in a week's time. For now, don't wait on me. After that, I will be free and clear for quite some time. Just give me seven more days. Again, I'm very sorry everybody.

Subject: couple things
As far as flanking goes. I don't totally get it all but I'll reread the posts when I have more time and I'll go over the combat chapter in the PHB.
For the age of the Ankhegs, not that I care that much, but, unless our characters can tell, perhaps it makes more sense for us as the players not to know either? Its up to Almerin in the end and I don't mind either way, just the way I'm used to playing.

Nice update Al! As per usual I really enjoyed reading it and can barely convince myself that an early morning means I'm supposed to sleep instead of hammer out an update. 
I am really busy both up here on the site (owing either a post or an entire character background in four separate threads!) and in real life, what with school work, &c... coming up, so I'll try to get one out I just want to be able to put the time into something that deserves to be next to your update! 
Deucalion, what do you think of flanking one, I know it kinda leaves us open but if we watch our backs, we may be able to hammer through the buggers faster. I'm not trying to pull table talk, but I was gonna write it into my post anyway so I figured, because it may take a couple days for me to get it up, i could run it by you before you post. Anyways whatever works. I just hope I don't die two pages in.
Awesome update Almerin, can't wait to forge me post! Err... wait did I say that already??

Say what?! A new posting game!! That's right! Can I play, you ask? Please do!!
Howdy folks! I come to you, my fellow inn mates, with a hankering to know a little bit more about what makes everyone and the site itself so tick! Here's how I propose to do it: a posting game!
How does it work? Simple, with each post we get a new question and some more answers. Yes that is as cryptic as it gets, I'll elaborate shall I? I will begin by asking one very straight-forward question - such as, 'How the heck are you accessing the inn (home comp, work comp, school comp, &c...)?' - the next person to post has to answer my question and add a new question to the list, maybe something like, 'How do you take your eggs, if you take 'em at all?'. Now the next person has two questions to answer and they get to add their question to mix, which means the next person has to answer three questions and add one of their own. Make sense?
You can post here as many times as you like, even answering your own questions if its getting dull. Basically I just want to stalk each and every one of you cute little inn members I can!!

I can't tell if Eol and I are a dynamic duo or ultimate archnemisi either way wherever you see some Eol spittle soon after I will come swinging in with my squeegee. That reminds me... I'll have to head over to the I haven't vanished thread... don't want Kaelyn getting soggy.

Do you have a deadline for characters as yet? Also, I'm assuming you are choosing your players based on their character submissions, primarily backgrounds? Or are you picking out what would make a well-rounded party? Or some other method? Anyways, eager to find the time to pull together my character!

The worst part is that I really like most of my real life. It just makes the decisions that much harder to make!
As far as getting a new name goes... I just did all that and nothing changed!

Yeah way back when I first joined (six or so years now...) I remember watching that post count so closely. Finding every pointless post I could make to pump it up higher. I was so proud to be a resident. Weird when I rejoined to find myself a newbie again! Then I remembered that the people here don't care about that because they're all so nice!!
But I am making my slow and steady way to Fixture whether you like it or not! Also, not to turn this into a Common Thread Q/A and take Ebilness' focus but how do you get those nice little personalized names?

Well hello good sir! As far as I know I'm the first one to welcome you into this warm shelter from the storm. Of course I don't doubt that the purple names up top are forging what they think is the first post as I speak... anyway I'm jabbering on. It is fantastic to have new players all the time and I'm glad you found your way back into gaming! No need to warn you about Eol... you'll know his tongue too well before long... errr. that just sounds wrong. And Grugg... don't feed him even if he offers you stuffed pandas and gummy bears!
Nice to have you Ebilness if you look through the yellow circled names beneath latest updated forum topics and the recruitment thread in general you may be able to find just what you're looking for. This is the perfect place to start however.

I must agree with Kaelyn. Phenomenal commitment to character there Meri... even at the expense of the party.... and what with two of our players AWOL, and Joseph two minutes away, heh. All I can say is good luck to Grugg, Kaelyn and Loki. But honestly nice post, a thoroughly enjoyable read.
