Topic: Weird War II Subject: Heading Out...
Putting the flask away, Doc thought.
Better watch it, I don’t need to start relying on “Dutch Courage” get through this mission..
It was growing dark so Doc headed back to farmhouse; he’d had second thoughts on leaving some of the food behind.
In the kitchen he pulled the smoked ham from the cooler and cut it into chunks. He found some paper and re-wrapped the meat in portions, drinking the milk as he worked.
Grabbing the basket of potatoes and rutabagas Doc hauled the food back the barn.
He set the basket down, took a package of ham, a couple of rutabagas and couple potatoes.
As he packed his food he said,“ Take what you want, the ham’s in the paper and the rutabagas aren’t bad peeled and eaten raw.”
When he finished getting his gear ready he noticed the ham was gone, but it was hard to tell if they took any of the other food.
Doc got his pack on and waited.
When the Captain and Romo were finished talking he fell in and headed out.
He could have sworn that Brutal was smiling when the Captain was talking about killing the Germans with a head shot.
Brutal almost seemed eager.
I guess I’m glad he’s on our side.

Topic: Weird War II Q n A Subject: Dutch Oven
Part of our course is to introduce new scout leaders to outdoor meal planning so they can help their scouts learn to plan. We have one of our trainers that is an avid Dutch Oven cook and he does about a 45 minute presentation on Dutch Oven and cast iron cooking. He is also the one that does the cooking for the staff. About half of what he cooks for staff is done in Dutch Ovens.
For first night "Cracker Barrel" staff provide three dump cakes baked in Dutch Ovens and last night we provide two oven full off hot meat snacks, one was bar-b-cue meat balls and the other was "Swedish Meatballs". Mmmmm...... good eats!

Topic: Weird War II Q n A Subject: Back
Ok, I'm back and plan to post tonight or tomorrow.
No one has claimed the hand guns yet. We don't to forget them if they are useful.
I'm planning on writing about the food, we'll split up the smoked ham, grab a few potatoes and rutabagas. If nothing else a potatoes can be shoved up a tailpipe to keep vehicles from starting. Too much back compression.

Well being it's a thread of Puns and Consequences smites should not be valid.
It's also an Honorary to Lyra for Illustrating Olans story and giving action to his words.
(Remember he write Rich's stuff, he is the "original" Pungeon Master!)
Please stay as an Innmate! Keep us informed about where we can go to keep up on your art.

Oh no, poor Rich!
Does this mean Rich is the "Raining" Pungeon Master?
Once again he is placed in a "Dicey" situation!
It's Okay though, with all those dice he'll really be ready to "roll".
The PUN-dit.
We'll miss Lyra's talents, but I hope she stays around as an Innmate.
She more than earned her free frosty mug of "Good Old Froth-n-Slosh".

Oh, look out they just rammed each other and are sinking. BTW your front lawn was flooded to make a swampy lake for the boats. But what the heck, you can open a diving school and send your student down to look at your beautiful Lawn ornaments laying on the bottom of the lake.
I wish for a book on Forgotten Realm so I make a better character the "The Wiz"'s game.

Topic: Weird War II Q n A Subject: Out of Town
I'll away from internet service until Sunday afternoon. We are doing our annual BSA "Outdoor Leaders Training" starting tonight. I'm one of the District Trainers. We'll be putting over 30 adult scout leaders through basic Outdoor Training. They sleep in tents, we are forced to used the cabin in order to maintain course materials, lol. Should fun, 20 - 40% chance of rain. Tonight's low 42. Should be great time.
Looking forward to the "Dutch Oven" cooking.
I'll catch up Sunday night so I can post Monday.
