Ok Tann, you're the leader so how about Dudley casts two Entangle spells? It will use up spells but it can be done to stop or slow each group. He casts to the right this round and then left next round. So you can shoot at the one on the left first to delay them.

You really need to buy a ring of free action.

"Green energy travels across the ground towards you and down the hall, no way to avoid it. As the energy touches the ratmen, they begin to move and stare to stand. The frozen dead suddenly burst from their ice sheaths and move as well, like warriors wearing ice armour."

Odyson called to the Bard. "Me can sing good too."

He stretched out his arms and with these words the Shaman willed the power of Mother Earth to the turn the undead now moving toward them.

"The foulest stench is in the air
The funk of forty thousand years
And icy ghouls from frost tombs
Are closing in to seal our doom
And though they fight to stay alive
Their body starts to shiver
For no mere undead can resist
The power of the healer."

The spell is great in these forresty places, but it will be on one side of the road or the other. Got to cast it back in the bush a bit so we don't get caught in our own spell.

Crow gave his plan,"Ok here is what I think. Lets use the brothers bickering to lay a trap. With the way they yell and such it would be the perfect way to distract the Gobbers into charging straight at the caravan. Now we leave two of us as plain seen guards while the other four hide in the tree's and attack out of surprise. Now as Kiki and I have bows we stay with the caravan and act as we are the only defenders. We will attempt to enrage the Gobbers to get to us after we kill one or two of them. Dudley, Bou, you both have slings so you need to be closer so you two along with Alondas and Jirak hide on the sides of the road and let them pass you. Then once past you hit their rear from out of the tree's behind them. In that way hopefully we will make this a quick fight. Does anyone have something better in mind?".......

"The cleric thought about having to walk again, "Well.... you could lure them into the bramble ...I can cast Entangle and then you just pick off at leasure."

"Captain. The Lieutenant spoke about head trauma being the way to handle zombies. I hate to make noise, but would this be a good time to test out that theory? I'd like to know if one well-placed shot to the noggin' qualifies as enough trauma. From the look of ‘em, I doubt any of them are likely to make use of weapons, but since the Germans are carrying side-arms, I'll target those first. Just give the order."

Doc looked up, "Just hold on a bit... don't let the willies get to you, Quick Shot. They may just be wounded....Cover them Yes, but let's check them out first. They may have good information. Moving like that they won't be able to rush us."

Doc started to get his med kit ready, they would be more help if the knew they were getting help.

Dudley seems pleased that the group has a job guarding the Mario Carts. As the group pulles out he chuckles in a high voice, "Here we go!"

The cleric was able to climb into the third wagon with his little brazier close by. He had seemed to have convinced the driver that having a Cleric of Shinara near the middle of the caravan would spread good fortune through out the party. Dudley told that this way he could meditate more and bring the Goddess's favor to them.

The bickering between they bosses tended to interupt his calm mood but at this was better than walking.

"It might at that my friend, however make this one Imp free, you know how they can ruin the mood"

Even in this grim place the Shaman had to laugh at the memory. Ody had always appreciated a well played joke. It had also given him a couple of dear friends in the Halfling and the Fairy Dragon. Still when Ody assistant Igor bakes apple pies for the Inn they always set one aside for little Peri.

Watching Max move down the passage Odyson calls up a little help for his friend. The cleric of Mother Earth casts "cloak of bravery" on the Gladiator Thief.

(O.O.C., To help readers know what Ody is trying to do. The intent is to add a +4 to Max's saving throws. Just in case he sets off a trap. Or looses his clothes.
Cloak of Bravery:
The cloak of bravery spell can be cast upon any willing creature. The protected individual gains a bonus to his saving throw against any form of fear encountered (but not awe--an ability of some lesser and greater powers). When cast, the spell can affect one to four creatures (caster's choice). If only one is affected, the saving throw bonus is +4. If two are affected, the bonus is +3, and so forth, until four creatures are protected by a +1 bonus. The magic of the cloak of bravery spell works only once and then the spell ends, whether or not the creature's saving throw is successful. The spell ends after eight hours if no saving throw is required before then.

The reverse of this spell, cloak of fear, empowers a single creature touched to radiate a personal aura of fear, at will, out to a 3-foot radius. All other characters and creatures within this aura must roll successful saving throws vs. spell or run away in panic for 2d8 rounds. Affected individuals may or may not drop items, at the DM's option.

The spell has no effect upon undead of any sort. The effect can be used only once, and the spell expires after eight hours if not brought down sooner. Members of the recipient's party are not immune to the effects of the spell.

The material component for the cloak of bravery spell is the feather of an eagle or hawk. The reverse requires the tail feathers of a vulture or chicken.

Well I was hoping to clear it up a bit. Which you did.

MMV posted...
"I just need you to plug this into a wi-fi port. They should be easy to find, but try for someplace where no one will notice it or it will get knocked out by accident. This will let me hack in, but if I lose connection, at best I will get kicked out. At worse, I get tracked back to the ship and we will be in trouble" Grace had explained.

It seemed to me there would be a wi-fi port in a lot of places. So I thought maybe merchants might have special access.

Love the post..... I can just picture JC and tailor.

Now Grace runs into Uncle Steele.

Need a little help with the "bug". Did we say before where or how Jon needed to plant it? Does he need to find a computer or something? Did Grace fill him in?

Maybe there is a location in the tailor shop, the tailor is quite distracted measuring JC in verious places...often.

Subject: Miss The Mist.......

Ody listened as Max complained about being naked and remember the time the fighter had tried to drink a barrel of Old Froth-n-Slosh. A small Halfling mage had convinced him that he could turn Max's clothes into magic armor. Piece by piece he turned Max's clothing invisible. By the time Max was sober enough to realize what had happened the mage was long gone. So as the shaman entered the passage he called out, "Maybe a tankard of Ale would make the mist disappear?"

What kind of light is there in the tunnel? Being that you have described everything in there we must be able to see it.
Are we just assuming we cast a spell or is it Magically lit?

Do we see what looks like a door at the far end?(on the map)

Ok gang do we investigate the side secret door or trek on down to the far end?
