Topic: Save the Princess Q and A Subject: Ok another problem
I could blame my short term memory probs for not posting when I should but that to me is a cop out. The real problem is never getting any kind of notifaction to any Roger DM'd game I have ever been in.
I have subscribed to this one, CWWLLO, and Rocinante but never get an email note telling me the game has been posted to. The only email update I get is to the CWWLLO Q/A but not to the other 2 Q/A's.
I want this game to continue for sure and I apologize for my lack of posting in this and your other two games Roger, and not to start bad mouthing but I think you sometimes give up on a game too soon. If some players are not posting do what I do recruit new ones. I know you don't like that but you'd be surprised how it can help change a game for the better.
In the end its your call to end or keep the game going, but I hope you reconsider calling it dead and hit it with some cardio shock treatment

Topic: Save The Princess, Save The Wyrm Subject: Sorry Roger thought I had posted to all my games.
With his search and scan of the door and his quick look into the kitchen complete, Crow quietly moved back to the rear of the party to stand close beside Ela. He could not help catching the weak tone of her voice as she suggested she would cover them from here.
Clearly her fear of fire was once more rearing its ugly head and with no need of his thief skills for the moment, this entry being a clearly warrior task, his place was by her side.
If he was called to check another door or pick a lock he would do so, but friends came first. A catching of Ela’s eyes and a smile sent he hoped it would help to let her know that her run in with fire would not happen again......

Topic: Update on Dragon Mistress. Subject: As are we all
I too hope she does not lose her feet or legs but if it means she lives instead of dies then the cost in my mind is worth it.
I lost 20% of my hearing in one ear and a good quarter of my past due to brain surgery to save my life and the cost was worth it.
I know what I lost is nothing compared to what she is going through and the possibility of her losing her feet or legs, but if it was me and it could save my life, no brainer. My life means more to me then the ability to walk.......

Ok as the title says if I sounded like an ass my apologies, I just don't want to have Al drop this game once again as along with Brom's Cerebal Paradox (Though I did die in that one) it has always been one of my favorites.
Again my apologies for my words

Topic: Save the Princess Q and A Subject: I'm still in
If you want, Al, have Crow help Brandr move said table and where are Van and Meri's posts, are they still in the game??
Also didn't Dragonblood drop out?? I see him still listed as a player. Keeper should be home here in Texas within the next 2 or so weeks, or at least somewhere with better internet.
If we have lost players do what I do and recruit replacements, though I know you hate that. I'd hate to see this game fizz................

Topic: Voyages of Rocinante - Serenity/Firefly RPG Subject: Meh, tah mah duh hwoon dahn sheriff!!!
Newhouse, Beylix, 11:20am Day Three
Wolf had only been listening with 1 ear as captain Wyatt talked about getting his friend released. His attention for the most part was divided between the other people in the room and on keeping an eye out the front door on the mule. However all that changed on when the sheriff’s words finally caught his attention.
“But, why don’t we cut to the chase here fellows. I’m sure you’d like to leave with your friend, and I’m not really opposed to seeing you or your friend leaving my town. So why don’t you post bail for Mr. Bowman, say 500 credits? I’ll send you a wave when the trial is scheduled and you can bring him back if it suits you. Now I hope you weren’t thinking of anything heroic like, as you are armed men. It would so sour the deal these fine gentlemen here are doing, and by now, my deputy has put a land lock on your ship so, you ain’t going anywhere without my blessing.”
Tzao gao had the sheriff noticed his unsnapping of his SMG pistols and his positioning, had he inadvertently blown it for a reasonable outcome?. With the revelation of the ship being landlocked Crow had to fight his instinctual urge to drive the mule back to the ship and blow the land lock device to shreds. How dare this Shee-niou of a backwoods sheriff think he could do such. But taking a slow careful deep breath the gunfighter/mechanic calmed himself and waited on Wyatt’s next words.....

Topic: Update on Dragon Mistress. Subject: Glad she liked it
I'm glad she liked it Bri, as one of the Staff who knows you both quite well from many talks in PM and my game, I hope everyday for the best but set myself to expect the worst.
Tell DM that I will always hold a special place in my heart for her and hope to have her return to health very soon.
Glad you both liked the Red Dragon as it was the best way we thought to say good luck from us the Staff.

Topic: Save The Princess, Save The Wyrm Subject: Sorry for long post wait, I had Computer problems. :(
With his inspection of the door complete he was about to move clear when Noctus spoke, once again volunteering the Sylvari thief without asking him first.
With a quiet sigh/laugh of acceptance Crow did as asked and peeked into the room, careful not to touch or jar the doorframe in anyway.
The thief could see that the room was 20 x 20 and dark his eyes quickly adjusting to the darkness could see within a number of sturdy wooden tables mounted to the walls to the North and East with shelves above each set for storage. On one of the tables were placed several pies, a few loaves of bread and a large silver pitcher, clearly another sign that whatever happened here had done so in the middle of the festivities. As he looked closer more evidence of such came as a number of empty trays of silver and platters of wood he could see lay scattered on the kitchens floor discarded, with the leftover food pieces they had possibly once carried, now a few hours old, on the ground beside them.
A second door on the north wall leading into the residence interior was closed. Relaying this info to the others he finally moved himself back out of the way allowing for Brandr or Noctus the right to first entry.........

Topic: Continuing Where We Last Left Off Subject: I had to do it as first poster and take credit for the "bard" comment
As he followed the rest of the party out of the corn field Maximus still could not reason out what had truly happened, though he remembered it clearly. Something had caused the “dream” but what it was, was unknown to the big gladiator as he had no teaching in the ways of magic. If Jal were still alive, Maximus would have bet money that the little mage would have been able to tell them all just what had happened. A soft smile bloomed on his face as he remembered his friend, his first real one in this none arena world.
But as they gained directions from the pitchfork wielding farmer he returned his thoughts to the matter at hand and followed the others into the town of Hevlorn. Right away it became clear that many different types of people seemed to call it home from ex-slaves from the empire, to a good number of humans, clearly of sueli descent, with pale skin and blond hair, to a large number of soldier types, perhaps deserters from the imperial and other national ranks.
Then before they knew it they had entered the town hall, before him Maximus could see inside the main area of it five elder gentleman standing by the great fireplace with drinks in hand. Near them is another man, sitting in an easy chair close to the hearth, wearing a yellow and blue tunic and boots of a russet color. Reddish hair the big gladiator saw was held beneath a wide brimmed hat with a colorful feather attached. In one hand he was holding a battered fiddle. The man’s only visible weapon that of a scimitar by his side.
At the sight of the seated man registered, Maximus could not help but blurt out the first thing that entered his mind.
"Bard"
And then realizing he had said it out loud looked to the others to see their reactions to it, hoping yet again he had not made a fool out of himself once more........

Topic: Voyages of Rocinante - Serenity/Firefly RPG Subject: We fought the Law and the Law won........I sure hope not LOL
Newhouse, Beylix, 11:11am Day Three
Wolf had remained quiet and for the most part found himself ignored which, truth be told, was fine with him. The ship’s mechanic had often found himself treated as such until the Beretta SMP’s in his shoulder holsters were drawn and the fight was on.
And it was here as he watched the goings on that he caught the look between Wyatt and Sam and though he could not be sure 100% of what the look meant he was no fool, the Cap’n was planning something. Causally as to cause no sense of worry in any of the others in the office he moved closer to the main door, scratching himself under his duster as if an inch,*and in the process positioning himself to cover the egress or entrance of the same.
Whatever Cap’n Wyatt had planned Fenris was ready.........
(*: Quietly if possible unsnapping the holster safety straps holding the pistols in place)

Topic: Save The Princess, Save The Wyrm Subject: Thief Up!!
With an open door leading into a kitchen Crow moved quickly to the forefront of the party to check it and the surrounding frame for traps and to make sure the way was clear..(If it is)
With a look over his shoulder he moved away from the door, glancing and speaking in a whisper to the others at the same time.
“It appears clear”
(If it is not, I will attempt to disarm or remove trap.)

Topic: Save The Princess, Save The Wyrm Subject: 4 letter word huh like perhaps, Love LOL
With Ela's reply Crow knew, whether in jest or reality, there would be no leaving this strange castle and so resigned himself to such.
“No, no dragon, or at least nothing THAT big of course" Crow smiled a mischivous smile
"However Ela if you say it must be for us to continue, then so it shall. As such I will move closer to recon the entranceway while you cover me with your bow. Perhaps by then the rest of our group will have dealt with the singing crazy”
A smile to tell her all was good the thief moved quietly towards the castles rear entrance.
