As Croaker scanned the area before them he was gauging the distance between the three of them and the Hole. A lot of open space to cover especially across a pretty empty parking lot. Then Preacher and finally the Boosterganger Coyote spoke up.
“Su-eeee,” he began with a slow shake of his head, the rain pouring from the rim of his hat. “There’s some security o’er yonder. That there parkin’ lot’s got enough eyes on it t’ be a vidstar.”
"Yeah I was thinking the same thing, good eyes catching that roof top guy see anymore up there?"
Croaker waited a moment for Coyotes reply then gave out new orders.
"Ok crossing here is out we need to move South and then use the cover of the Buildings to move East to that gray Apt building. Its closer and we can stage from there. Ready, ok let’s move."
With that the three of them did head South.....

Topic: Continuing Where We Last Left Off Q&A Subject: Oh Oh Me Me!!
I will do it . The way I have been playing Talas is as a semi-loner who never had the opportunity to make friends as there was always the chance that he would have to kill them in the pits as they were also Gladiators.
But adventuring with a party of people he does not have to worry about facing in battle is slowly opening him up, case in point the friendship he has started with Jal. So yeah if you want to Mrs Vanadia, Talas be all for it.
But that all also depends on AL as I am not listed on the first page as even BEING IN the game .

1) Brom how close is the building we are hiding at from the Hole.
2) Can we gain access to its interior, and does it have a visible alarm system.
3) Whats the max range of the Cop SMG's and how many SMG's are in the party. I know I have 1, Preacher has 1, does Coyote have one of his own, if not we gave him the 2nd Cop one right can't remember and I can't find that post right now.
Well thats all the questions for the moment I am sure I will have more.

Topic: Continuing Where We Last Left Off Subject: Battles End
Talas reached the side of Jal only to find the dwarf Kilgim had reached him first. Upon Kilgim’s request for a drink of his Healing potion the ex-gladiator hesitated not one minute in turning it over to him.
With a drink taken and Kilgim able to heal once more, the remains of the potion returned, Talas saw that his new friend Jal seemed to be in good hands and as such did move to check on Magma. With the remaining 2 doses of the Healing Potion poured down the horse’s mouth and Magma though not fully healed yet better then before, Talas did make his way over to where the rest of the party was questioning the bug mage.
In a few moments it became clear to the ex-pit fighter that nothing useful was to be gained from the bug mage and when it became apparent that no one was sure of what to do with it, that Talas strode forward and in a quick motion drew Serenity from its sheath and in one strike lopped off its head as not to see it suffer.
Turning to the others to await their reaction he did then asked.
"So what now do we continue or take the boys to Freegate."
For the next few moments the discussion on the childrens fate is talked about. Jal, in that almost scary eerie way of his, claims that the threat from the bugs is gone.
In the end, Phil makes the decision for the boys to go to Freegate with Kilgim’s letter and that it is a journey they will make alone. With a number of coins freely given by all, the boys are set on their way, their father buried and at peace.
As it was that they still had some way to go this day and Talas himself fearing Magma’s health decides not to ride Magma further, so he runs on foot. With the magic of his boots of Speed aiding him, he easily keeps up the pace with the horses quite well.
It is just as sun is going down that they finally reach the Waymeet – A series of structures built by the Iron League as shelter and defense for road travelers. Before the party of 7 is a large stone building, 20 wide and 60 long with a stable area on one side, roofed with pens, but also with shuttered windows as to allow a close eye on the animals. Reinforced oak doors are on either of the short ends of the building meet them as they move forward and as the door is opened a loud squeak tells of a long time between uses.
Inside, there is a single room with a large fireplace cooking hearth in the center.
A well with a still working pump is in the corner. As with door the there are yet more signs that this Waymeet has not been used in some time as the supply bins are empty. But for now no matter the state of it, it is shelter, with a most welcome roof.
For this night the 7 will call this place home till once again they depart with the coming of dawn....
(OK AL On my character sheet I do not have any Potions Of Healing listed but I think you gave us each two correct not sure at the moment thanks)

Welcome Back Yana, Al never did mention, at least not to me, that you were Alloryn back then. Man I wish I had been here at the Inn to read the original game.
And Al please for the sake of my sanity stop with the big words. 'intrinsic' what the hell does 'intrinsic' mean anyway, ya got to remember I am a 40 year old male blond who has had brain surgery. Jesus can't you use easier words like Integral, Important or my favorite Wichtig.

A Quick Back post
As Croaker, Bullseye and Coyote begin to head out Croaker was stopped by Preacher’s first words since Spiff and Coyote had joined them.
"Don’t know if it matters much where yer plan’s concerned, pardner, but should it come down t’ a tussle, I don’t know what good I’ll be in the chuckwagon. Sure, I can put ‘er in drive, tickle the accelerator a little, but when it comes to leavin’ Dodge, I’m no wheelman if ya catch my drift."
Those soft spoken words stopped Croaker dead in his tracks. Preacher was right he was no real wheelman and the very success of the run could very well come down to skill in driving. Thinking quick there was only one real solution even through Croaker did not want to make it.
"Ok Preacher your right, change of plans, your with us, Bullseye I need you to play wheelman. If no objections then lets get moving."
With Preacher in place of Bullseye armed once again with his SMG, the 3 moved out....
(OOC: Ok Brom I already talked to Kyle about this and he is ok with the switch so no need to wait on a post by him unless its really needed.)

Topic: Continuing Where We Last Left Off Subject: The Joy Of Battle
Talas in full Gladiator mode relished in the fight, though without the sound of a stadium full of cheering masses, the Ex-Gladiator yet felt alive, this had been his life for so long it was without a doubt a part of him, and though he longed for a peaceful life one day, today was not that day.
With an almost total disregard for his own safety he taunted the creature before him, begging it to attack and was ready when it did. Ducking and rolling across the ground the Ex-Pit fighter brought up Serenity into the Ankheg’s belly splitting it wide open. His roll continued he found himself well away as the Ankheg crashed to the ground dead!
On his feet once again he took in the scene before him and could not help but watch as the young boy Dapple in a show of amazing combat skills defeated the last of the Bug Warriors. He had seen those moves before he was sure, but where, and when? As he approached the last breathing Ankheg lying unconscious before him and proceeded to kill it swiftly, he remembered....
Dapple fought like a GREEN!! But how was this possible, the Boy was too small and way to young to have ever been one, something was not right here that was for sure. With a look to locate Dapple to ask him of the nature of this mystery of skill, his eyes did finally see the body of the mage Jal lying as if dead some yards away.
With all thoughts of confronting Dapple gone, the big Ex-Pit fighter did break into a run towards the fallen mage, a Potion of Healing in his hand.....

My Apologizes to everyone, I did not realize it was a question that he asked me. I have had so much on me the last 2 weeks I just glanced over it not really getting it.
I will post an answer later tonight and most likely will back post to cover my new action of switching Preacher for Bullseye as he is the better driver as he has let me know just today when I talked to him over the phone.
Again sorry for my Oops.

Topic: Continuing Where We Last Left Off Subject: Stinking bugs not my little friend!!!
Talas found himself on his feet and without Magma beneath him facing the last of the Ankheg bugs. How he had weathered the fall from his horse for the moment was a non issue as the bug before him had his full attention. Yet still with the thought in the back of his mind he could not but hope Magma too was ok.
With Serenity at the ready and he himself as yet lightly wounded, he waited but a moment until the Ankheg was fully committed to its attack then used its own single mindedness against it. Striking for one of two possible places the pit warrior hoped to end his combat with this bug quickly and go to the aid of any of the others who were in need....
(Ok Talas will first see if he can get a strike into its belly if not then he will go for the head area. Afterwards if successful in killing it he will look to see if anyone needs immediate help.)

Topic: Continuing Where We Last Left Off Subject: My Turn once again
As Talas completed his charge and turned Magma around he saw that once again his strength of arm and Serenity had downed yet another foe.Through covered lightly in Acid blood and with a small wound he was in no way hindered by such.
His trained eyes quickly taking in the battle so far he heard the words of the Knight Arien yelling of a bug mage having joined the battle. A fast scan and to his left was spotted a Thri-kreen weilding a staff instead of a true weapon. Ahhh there you are Talas thought to himself urging Magma once again into a charge the Ex-Gladiator readied his sword to strike once again.....
(OOC: Ok if the bug Mage should leep out of my way I will continue my charge and attack my secondary target the 4th Ankheg.)
