George Carlin

Geroge carlin passed away at 71. He had a heart attack.

A great loss for comedy

Sad...

Carlin was one of a kind and never ever 'stood down' in his entire career. A sad day for the comedic world indeed.

At some point, today, everyone should say those "seven words" in George's memory.

missed

Al Sleet - the hippie dippie weather man was a big influence on my life.

When I was in grade 7 & 8, my friends and I would gather in thebasement and listen to records (vinyl) of George Carlin. Lots of fun times.

He wil be missed,

How unfortunate

I tried to find something of his to quote here but I guess it would be out of place.

*tears*

I almost had to pull over when they announced it on the radio this morning I was so shocked. A sad sad day indeed. Prayers for him and his family and all of us fans who will greatly miss his wonderfully off color humor.

R.I.P. George

George was always one of my favorite comedians. I will miss him and his unique wit greatly. Heaven will be needing a censor, now. Heh.

Modern Man

I highly suggest you guys check out the "Modern man" routine on youtube. Believe it or not it's PG-13. That's one of my favorites. He crams about 100 puns and non-sequiters and observations into 4 and a half minutes.
