Twilight- Any Fans?

Hi, if you haven’t heard of me before I’m new here. I'm a big fan of the Twilight saga and wondering if any one else is. I just finished book three “Eclipse” and waiting for my god sister to lend me book four “Breaking Dawn” Please tell me what one you’re on. Twilight; New moon; Eclipse or Breaking Dawn; I’d love to talk to any fans!

I know that my daughter (emybear450) is huge into the books - she has read them all.

My wife made me...

My wife made me see the movie, but I haven't read any of the books. She swears up and down that the books are ten times better than the movie. I'll withhold my opinion...

LOL

WIthholding Comment Sal for the sake of family harmony, eh??

I haven't read any of the books or seen the movie. Vampires are not my thing. Give me a nice Dragon, sword and sorcery. Beats blood sucking vampires all hollow.

Miss V...
Haven't read or seen Twilight but will definitely buy it when it comes out on dvd.

Looks like it's gearing up to be one of those cult classics like Lost Boys...which I saw 10 times in one summer...YEARS ago

Ever since Barnabas Collins I've been a vampire fan.
My fav vampire? That goes to the great Christopher Lee...
he also makes a fine Count Dooku

Christopher Lee

And Saruman!

I'm thinking I will just have to borrow these books, and find out what all the fuss is about

Just Talking

Probably a good idea Mom; but Dad ask me to lend him mine. Well I’ll definitely want to talk to emybear450 when she comes back. I have also seen Lost Boys; it is one of my favourite movies; right after Twilight but before Kung-Fu Panda. I have the best dad ever! My Dad took me to the premier of Twilight on Thursday 20.th

Yeah.... no

Anti-fan... Something about the 100+ year old man picking up chicks at the local high school, breaking into her house to watch her sleep, etc. just strikes me as screwed-up.

Agreed

A mighty fine sentiment, that. Too bad more people can't seem to think that way (I've seen Twilight fanbs darn-near riot over those exact criticisms... Not that Trekkies or other brands of nerd aren't just as bad).

Still, I pretty much always find it worrisome when a large swath of people try to point at something and call it the ideal relationship. Stes a lot of people up for pain down the road, you know?
